With a waitlist number of 63 in the first merit list for SIMC's MA program, it's possible, but not guaranteed, that you'll get a chance in the second merit list. The chances depend on how many seats are remaining after the first merit list and how many people on the waitlist may accept their offers.
Waitlist Movement:
If candidates from the first merit list don't enroll (perhaps they got into another program or school), their seats become available, and those on the waitlist are then considered for admission.
Waitlist Number:
A higher waitlist number (like yours) might mean you're further down the list and your chances are lower.
Second Merit List:
The second merit list typically occurs after the first round of admissions to account for those who may not have enrolled.
Uncertainty:
There's no guarantee, as the number of available seats and the acceptance rates of students on the waitlist can fluctuate.
SIMC Specifics:
SIMC (Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication) might have its own specific procedures for the second merit list, so it's a good idea to check the official website for details.
