Given Q= -800 Joules (As heat is rejected it is -800)
W= 2 kg ( in compression work done is +ve)
= 20 Joules (1joule = 0.1 kg)
As per first law of thermodynamics,
Change in Internal energy ( Δ U) = Heat energy - Workdone
Δ U = Q - W
Δ U = -800-20
Δ U= -820 Joules
