Fun-filled campus life with top-notch exposure.
Academics
Academics at IIM Trichy are intense but rewarding. The professors are approachable and make even complex concepts easier to understand. They encourage discussions and questions, which makes learning more engaging. In every term we have around 6 courses which makes a perfect mix of management studies.
College Infra
IIM Trichy’s campus offers a perfect mix of nature and modern amenities. The peaceful lakeside, where I spent a lot of evenings, made the campus feel like a retreat after hectic days. Seeing peacocks roaming around added to the charm. The sports facilities are great and classrooms are even more amazing. We have two new hostels coming up.
Campus Life
Campus life at IIM Trichy is anything but dull. Whether it’s the thrill of Kurukshetra or the heated PGP1 vs PGP2 matches, the energy on campus is contagious. The clubs keep the campus buzzing with events that range from fun-filled cultural fests to intense brainstorming sessions. Even late-night discussions in the hostels turn into unforgettable memories. It’s a space where friendships are built, ideas are exchanged, and every day feels like a new adventure.
Placements
Placements were a bit of a mixed experience. While some students got great roles in consulting, marketing, and finance, many were still left unplaced by the end of the placement season. Around 50-60 students didn’t secure offers both in SIP and in finals, which was disappointing. This is definitely an area where IIM Trichy can do better.
Value For Money
When it comes to learning and personal growth, IIM Trichy definitely delivers. The exposure, rigorous academics, and vibrant campus life make the journey fulfilling. But if you’re looking at it purely from a placement perspective, the return on investment might not feel as satisfying. It’s more about the experience and the skills you gain along the way than just the final outcome.

A place where learning is fun.
Academics
Academics are enriching, even if it is quite fastidious. The professors are approachable, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The support staff are also helpful. My college encourages peer to peer learning’s and the case based approach ensures that learning goes beyond textbooks.
College Infra
We have a beautiful and well maintained campus with modern facilities. We have big classrooms which is fully equipped with modern technologies. The library is huge and well stocked, making it an ideal place for focus learning. We have six hostels with double sharing rooms and two new hostels under construction. We also have a functional sports facility, and a gym.
Campus Life
Campus life in my college is very lively and unforgettable. I personally enjoyed the sports events, the most i.e Sangram, which is the inter sports competition held between IIMs. Other times of the year, there is some of the other events going on in the campus conducted by different clubs and committees.
Placements
For the academic year 2025, the average salary packages offered was from around 17 LPA to 25 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Aditya Birla capital, JP Morgan, Chase and Co, Amazon, etc, came for both summer placements, and final placements.
Value For Money
Undoubtedly yes! In terms of academics, exposure, placements, and overall learning, IIM Trichy offers good value for money. The return on investment feels very promising, so if you are looking for holistic growth,this is the right place.

Best campus life experience, and fun learning.
Academics
I would say academics are quite rigourous, but rewarding at the same time. The professors are approachable and supportive, and so are the college staffs. We have digital classrooms, which makes complex concepts easier to grasp. Also, the environment and people here, add immense value to our learnings.
College Infra
IIM Trichy’s infrastructure is quite impressive, with everything from a serene Lakeside and peacocks roaming around to the best sports facilities, including a swimming pool, cricket ground, badminton court, etc. We have a massive library which is perfect for long study hours, classrooms are big too, hostel rooms are quite decent and we have double sharing rooms.
Campus Life
Campus life at IIM Trichy is full of life. I personally enjoyed the section wars for both the sports events and the cultural events. It actually goes about for three days to a week, where students from all the sections come together and participate. Witnessing those were pure fun.
Placements
As per me, placements in my college are a mixed bag. While some top profiles are offered, there is still room for improvement, as around 50 to 60 students remained unplaced even after the placement season.
Value For Money
For the quality of education and overall exposure, Indian Institute of management, Trichy is worth the investment, But when it comes to the placements, the value for money feels a little questionable. Else its good.

Hii,
I understand your problem, But I highly recommend you to not considering any such type of concessions in percentile. It will affect your preparation. 90% there will be no changes and hence no such type of thing will be going to happen. Just prepare well for the exam.
