Hello Aspirant,
Considering you are having obc-ncl category then I would suggest that you do have chances to get into IIT Guwahati. However there are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
For IIT Bombay the chances are slim and a bit dicy so I would suggest you to look for other colleges too.
To get more information about the cut offs then you can check out the link given below -
Hello,
Since these institutions are seen similarly by the public, there is actually no difference between them. While they are comparable in terms of placement, the IIT tag will benefit you in the long run in terms of brand value. In addition, IIT would have significantly greater facilities than NITs.
The fact that so many businesses avoid visiting NIT is another issue. nonetheless, be sure to stop by older IITs. Some businesses, like Qualcomm, launch their R&D profiles in older IITs rather than NITs. Similar to this, a number of businesses make a distinction between the packages provided by NIT and the earlier IITs. Like how Cisco provides 39 lacs in the IIT and 31 lacs in the NIT. There are several in the same way.
So, as per my decision, choose IIT Guwahati.
Good Luck!!
The IITG cutoff has been divided into opening and closing ranks. The IIT JAM cutoff varies for each category and the aspiring candidates should meet the cutoff. The candidates can check the IIT JAM cutoff on the official website.
Every year the cutoff varies for each programme. The candidate should meet the IIT Guwahati cutoff to move on to the next stage of the admission process. The IIT Guwahati cutoff differs from each course and each category. The candidates can check the cutoff rank on the official website.
