The campus environment is focused and study-oriented. we spend most of our time on academics, projects and placement preparation. While there are some activities, the main focus remains on learning and career growth.

As a graduate student of the 2025 batch, my experience at IIIT Pune has been challenging, structured and rewarding.

The new permanent campus of IIIT Pune is developing a better experience in all ways, such as better classrooms, upgraded computer labs, and a cleaner hostel environment. The ambiance remains peaceful and organized; hence, suitable for focused studying. Although the overall campus is still at a developing stage, existing facilities such as Wi-Fi, library, dining hall, and common rooms are present with a gradual improvement. Overall, the new campus offers a modern and comfortable setting that is a big step up from the earlier temporary campus.

Academics focus on CSE and ECE , with updating syllabus and provide good learning experience via project and lab, it has very strong coding culture and labs and courses are industries oriented and students friendly environment

The placements at IIIT Pune are quite strong, especially for CS and IT students. A good percentage of students get placed every year, and many receive internships that convert into full-time offers. Several well-known tech companies visit the campus, offering roles in software development, data science and related fields. The highest packages usually go to top performers with strong coding skills, and the overall average package is steadily improving. IIIT Pune is a great institute for Persuing a Doctor of Philosophy In Computer Science and Engineering the institute comprises of a great and big campus, a big library in which there are lakhs of books, the classroom are air conditioned and library is also air conditioned, hostel are separate for both girls and boys, sports ground are also present in institute and sports facilities are also provided in the hostel also.

It is best institute in india for doing Phd in Computer science and Engineering because of the faculties which are present here are top notch they are graduated from the top institutes of india like the IIT and NIT that's why the faculties are great our classroom are digitalized and wifi is also available throughout the campus

I have seen my senior are getting placement in the top notch companies of india like the Google, Amazon, Adobe, Wipro, TCS after their PhD in CSE which I think made this institute a great institute in india the packages they are got are more than 10 to 20 lakhs per annum which is the range of packages offered here, after passing out from PhD Computer science and Engineering

Fees structure is not very high if you compare it with the other IIIT'S so be tension free and you can choose this institute

The college does not have a permanent campus yet but the construction of permanent campus is in progress and will be completed in almost a year. The current location of temporary campus is in Singhad campus which is located in a good area with easy reach to every place.

I am pursuing Btech in computer science.Some faculty are highly experienced and good, providing appropriate study material that can help us in exam But on the other hand some of them are new in the field with not much experience which adds a negative point for academics.

Placements have earlier been very good and decent .Most of the students were placed in high paying companies. The current situation is not quite good due to recession probably but students are getting placed off campus and also the oncampus placements are improving.

IIIT Pune currently sharing Campus with Trinity Academy of Engineering near Bopdev ghat, pune which is nearly 15 kilometers Pune railway station. Campus is pretty good. But many facilities are not provided for which we are paying fee like gym,wifi(very poor connection even it is provided).

Academics are quite good. But many of our faculty are having less experience compared to other IIITs. Teachers are very interactive and will be available for you all the time. Seniors also teach you many things in the first year. They will help you in learning programming.

1st Batch of IIIT Pume passed out in the year 2019-20. Placements here are really good. The highest package is 23lpa for three students. Also many other students got placed with good packages. This is a very good thing for a newly started IIITP.

Climate in Pune is really awesome. Its green every where. In rainy season it will showering all the time. You'll really experience a beautiful climate in the campus. Seniors are very interactive and helpful. They clear many of your doubts regarding academics and any other activities as well. Teachers are also very interactive and will be available for you all the time for your doubts.

IIIT Pune currently runs in Trinity college of engineering and Research, Pune because It doesn't have its own campus. Food of mess and canteen is average, no wifi is there. The library is there. Living spaces are hygienic and cleaned regularly.

Quality of teaching is good here but in my opinion, I think it can be improved. I am currently studying Btech in Computer Science branch. Our curriculum is regularly updated and I think it also includes recent developments.

Placements of IIIT Pune should fall under average category according to me, Quality of placements is not that much good but not that much bad also. I think around 60% of students were placed and college was very supportive in the procedure.

Our college infrastructure is normal like any other college, it runs in Trinity college of engineering and research. I am glad to be a part of this college. The hostel are good, mess food is also good, wifi facility will soon be implemented.

Academics is average. I study btech in computer science branch because I love this branch and I am very much interested in coding. Quality of teaching is good. Teachers are qualified. Curriculum is regularly updated.

Quality of placements is quite average. I think it can be improved in the coming time. Around 50% of students got placed this year which was the first batch to graduate. Average salary is about I think 7 LPA.

I like my college very much because I think it has all the necessary facilities that a college needs, good labs, good sports, everything. The mess food is quite good. Mess is common for all the boys and girls and it is hygienic.

In the topic on academics, it is an average college. Quality of teaching is good. I am studying btech in computer science branch. Curriculum is updated regularly time to time and it includes all the recent developments in the field.

Placement process is kinda average too here. Around 60% of students get placed and highest package was about 18 LPA which has been gone to a computer science student. Our college is very supportive in this process.

IIIT Pune has all the necessary facilities and equipment. I love the infrastructure. It currently runs in Trinity college of engineering and research, Pune. Our classrooms are very much maintained and food is just awesome.

I think the quality of studying here is very good, teachers are very supportive and students also help each other. Our curriculum is updated regularly and it also includes the current developments in the filed.

IIIT Pune is not that much good in the term of placements but maybe it can improve in the later time because the students who graduated this year was the first batch. Around 75% of students get placed this year.

The college has all the necessary facilities from the classrooms to the sports to the events. We have our teachers support all the time. All the living spaces are clean and very hygienic. The mess food is good too.

Of course, it is not IIT so you don't get a silver spoon in your mouth but by doing hard work and good determination, you can surely make your life good. It's all about what you do in your college life. Quality of teaching is good.

As I said it is not in the top engineering college so you have to do hard work, but don't worry there is the scope of placements if you study well. Highest package is 22 LPA which is not bad for the first batch.
