There are 2 specialisations of B.Tech provided by IIIT Ranchi namely, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

IIIT Ranchi B.Tech Admission Process

• Students are requested to meet the necessary credentials as predetermined by the institute.
• Candidates are advised to have JEE Main scores.
• Along with the JEE Main scores, students are advised to submit the online application form.
• Aspirants are shortlisted by qualifying the required cutoff prescribed by the institute and a merit list is prepared for the candidates who clear the cutoff.
• Shortlisted students are advised to appear for the JoSAA/CSAB counselling process.
• Based on the student's performance in the counselling and the choice of preference given by the students, students will be selected for the final admissions.
• Once the students are allotted seats, they are advised to pay the course fee and submit the documents for verification to get the IIIT Ranchi admission confirmed.

IIIT Ranchi JEE Main Results 2024

IIIT Ranchi JEE Main Results 2024 for Session 1 was released by the National Test Agency (NTA) on February 12. Candidates can check the result and also the JEE Main 2024 answer key at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Registration for JEE Main Session 2 will be conducted from March 2, 2024.

IIIT Ranchi JoSAA Counselling 2024

Candidates seeking admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi B.Tech courses should register themselves for JoSAA/CSAB Counselling. IIIT Nagpur JoSAA Counselling 2024 will tentatively commence on June 10 and a further detailed schedule to be released in June 2024.

IIIT Ranchi M.Tech Admission 2024

Candidates can get admission to IIIT Ranchi M.Tech course via 3 different modes namely GATE, non-GATE and sponsored. Each mode has a common process that involves written tests and/or interviews conducted by the respective departments.

IIIT Ranchi M.Tech Admission Process

• Candidates are required to fill out the application form available on the official website of IIIT Ranchi. A sum of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates) is to be paid as an application fee.
• The application form along with self-attested documents are required to be sent by speed/registered post to the institute. Also, the same is to be sent in a single PDF via email.
• Shortlisted candidates will further participate in the selection process based on their preferred mode. 
• For GATE candidates: The IIIT Ranchi M.Tech selection process involves qualifying for GATE. Based on GATE, the Candidate is required to clear the cutoff prescribed by the institute and shortlisted candidates are called for a written test and an interview.
• For non-GATE candidates and sponsored candidates: Admission to the IIIT Ranchi M.Tech course will only be made based on performance in written tests and/or interviews.
• Candidate has to report at the institute or virtually for the tests. Selected candidates can apply for counselling online/in person at IIIT Ranchi. Once the document verification is done, the candidate is granted admission.

IIIT Ranchi GATE Exam 2024

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi GATE Exam 2024 was conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11. The concerned authorities have recently released GATE 2024 answer keys on February 21, 2024. Candidates can check the answer keys at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

IIIT Ranchi Ph.D Admission 2024

There are two formats of IIIT Ph.D courses namely full-time and part-time (for sponsored candidates). The full-time Ph.D course is for GATE, non-GATE and sponsored candidates. The minimum duration of the IIIT Ranchi Ph.D programme (excluding dropped semester(s)/maternity leave) is 3 years (36 months) from the date of joining.

• Candidates are required to fill out the application form through the official website. (GATE candidates are also required to do the same).
• Candidates are required to pay Rs 1000 as an application fee for the application form.

The candidates can attend the IIIT Ranchi counselling process after qualifying for the relevant entrance examination. Candidates should attend the IIIT Ranchi counselling with all original certificates. Candidates should submit all the required documents successfully. The candidate must pay the DD at the time of counselling. JOSAA/CSAB will conduct the B.Tech. counselling. The candidates should attend the respective counselling process to get admitted.
