GNLU Silvassa Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Gujarat National Law University has a Central Library that has a huge collection of manuscripts and rare books. The college library currently holds about 14 lakh volume books and research papers. The college also has separate departmental libraries for the students belonging to different departments.

This Hostel is your home away from home. Choosing a university is also about choosing a new home. We ensure that students dwell in a healthy environment that helps them to grow and learn without any obstacles. GNLUS Campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities. There is a common air-conditioned mess for the students. There are also air-conditioned reading rooms and recreational rooms in both Hostels for the students. Students are not permitted to keep in their possession - room crackers, dangerous weapons, firearms, contraband items or - instruments that can cause serious injury to others. The hostel accommodation for PG students is in a different building.

The students have complete access to the Silvassa Sports Complex which is just 100m away from the Hostel. Students get an annual membership via which they can avail a range of facilities including gym, swimming pool, chess, table tennis, cricket, basketball, yoga, marathon running, etc. The University also has a dedicated Sports coach to help students pursue their passion towards any sport.

There is a regular Bus facility available to travel between the Hostel and College Campus. The University also has tie-ups with travel agencies for providing safe movement of students from Hostel to nearest Railway Station/Airport at a cost.

The University has a 24*7 nurse and on-call doctor to attend to any medical emergencies. We have an infirmary in the Hostel as well as the Academic Block. We also have contacts with the local civil and private/multispecialty hospitals to address any concerns.
