A student’s education should result in something, whether it is a job or going for higher education. Placements provide this opportunity to students as they are exposed to the recruitment of some of the top companies available. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur provides a platform for the students to get recruited by them. According to the institute’s official webpage, few reputed companies offer jobs to the graduated students.
Amazon, National Instruments, Publicis sapient, Maq software, Practo, Medlife, and Pindexx are some of the companies that have visited the campus in the year of 2020. Few more promising companies have agreed to offer a job to the students.
THE PLACEMENT PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOWS:
STEP 1: The placement procedure involves the placement cell of the college, who coordinate with the reputed companies for job opportunities.
STEP 2: The filled-in Job Announcement Forms or JAF is sent via email to the placement cell.
STEP 3: The interested students are required to submit their resumes to the placement cell.
STEP 4: After the coordination between the cell and the companies, a date is announced for recruitment.
STEP 5: A pre-placement talk is conducted by the companies to know about the students.
STEP 6: The recruitment involves several rounds like group discussions, subject knowledge, and personal interview.
STEP 7: The process varies with the companies. Students who pass all the rounds are offered jobs that are mentioned in JAF.
STEP 8: The interview can take place or IIIT Bhagalpur or IITG according to the situation.
STEP 9: The call letters will reach the students through the placement cell.
According to the statistics, nearly 50% of CSE students have got placed, and 41% of ECE students have been placed in recognized firms. Since it has been just 4 years, a few numbers of companies touch the campuses.

The institute also provides various platforms for the students to get ready for the placement and the staffs are also trained accordingly. Ranking: Both are new colleges and thus unranked, but Una is a better and more beautiful place than Bhagalpur.
Placements (ECE):
