The college has all the required infrastructure facilities like seminar halls, sports sections, canteen area, and large number of classroom for studying. The college also has separate hostels for boys and girls.
The education quality of the institute is very good. The faculty members are from different renowned institutes which makes the learning experience very amazing. The teachers are always available for doubt solving sessions.
The placement scenario of MBA is not okay compared to other institutes in the same segment of colleges. But since its a national level institute it is very recognized in the industry at least in the fields of IT and CS.
Top notch infrastructure as the campus is relatively new as compared to other prominent Engineering Colleges. The campus covers a huge area spread across the outskirts of Prayagraj, with well planned layout of the infrastructure.
The new curriculum structure, CCLCAA, is not very student-friendly. However, the course structure covers most of the crucial IT related topics that one could chose to pursue a career in. In addition to all the subjects that IT students have, IT BI students geta couple or a single subject extra related to Business Informatics, each semester.
IIIT A boasts a 100% placement records. Apart from companies like Google, Amazon, Sumo Logic and Golmann Sachs visiting the college during placements sessions, many students opt for off-campus placements as well.
The college infrastructure is just average, just like any other institute/university. There are 2 gyms in the boy's hostels, a swimming pool, a few canteens/shops in the shopping complex. Other than that, the campus is pretty much average. The hostels do not have much facilities. Wifi is present everywhere in the campus and hostels but the signal quality isn't excellent.
This college, being an institution of national importance, is one of the best college in the country in terms of academics. All the professors and faculty are well experienced and good quality teaching will be provided to the students.
There are almost 100% placements in the college. The packages are also very good, can be comparable with the top IITs. Many top companies come for placements. However, there is also a lot of competition during the placements season.
Being an Institute maintained by the government, the cost of living and the fees are low. For me, pursuing BTech, it costs around 75k per semester, which means 1.5L per year along with hostel and mess facilities.
Not that campus life is the most excellent, but it is pretty good to take a degree in IIITA. One can just enjoy life along with the studies.
Concluding, this is one of the best college in the country. One has to work hard and score a good rank to secure a seat in this college. I suggest to go for it.
The college is great. The classes are amazing. There are ample numbers of labs that are always open for people to come in and practice coding. The hostels are decent enough but the toilets are bad. The food is bland most of the time and sometimes there have been cases of insects in food
I was studying b tech information technology. The teaching is okay. Most of the professors are highly knowledgeable and a few of them even genuinely care about your learning experience. The curriculum is relatively up to date. And the study is Okay but learning some skills along the way will help you get job ready
The college has an amazing record for placements. Unless you massively screw up your interview or have an extremely bad academic record you are almost guaranteed to be placed with a company. From What I've heard the average salary is offered was 15-16Lpa
The college is great value for money when compared to private colleges. The curriculum is more rigourous and the resources given are a lot more useful than other colleges. The course costs around 50 thousand rupees per semester
The campus is not very big, but is very very pretty. The campus is peaceful on most days and the trees make it a great place to stroll on an evening. When I stayed there the location of the campus was shady but it felt safe with security guards always around
Great college. If you're willing to work your butt off this is the right choice for you
Though IIIT-A leads in placements, infrastructure and education quality; DTU has a better campus life and a better location as well. We can’t deny that fact.
