IIIT Bhopal Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

As of now the college shares infrastructure of MANIT Bhopal. Students have access to all the necessary equipments such as library, laboratories, sports centre, student activity centre etc. Hygienic food is provided in canteen, nescafe as well as sanchi.

The curriculum is up to date. Quality of lectures is good as well. Some professors are interactive and lets students collaborate in certain projects or research work too. Otherwise, self study is always encouraged for better grasp over the subjects.

First batch to pass out had good placements with avg package of 8 lpa and highest 15Lpa. Definitely expecting a good amount of boost in next batch's placement. Placement drive starts in 3rd June year (around June) and companies keep visiting the college all year round.

Apart from educational workshops, lots of fun activities are conducted here such as cultural fests, sports fests and DJ nights.

This is newly established IIIT so as of our classes will be conducted in MANIT ( NIT BHOPAL ) and also lab equipments are also used from MANIT BHOPAL and hostel facility for boys only available for 1st year where as for girls available for complete 4 years .

80% of the faculty members will be from MANIT so they are very educated and talented lecturer and curriculum and exams are conducting in online mode as of now because of the pandemic and i am also waiting to see the campus soon .

IIIT BHOPAL established in 2017 therefore first batch will be out in 2021 so i can't provide you the appropriate record of placements cell but there will be placement cell and placement officer who will look after about the placements.

Yeah the college have necessary equipment not in a best way but it's a new college so it have good facilities.....wifi ... libraries...projectors...hostel is 16 km away due to lack of building but sports n gym is there ....n awesome environment is there ...it is situated in RGPV COLLEGE...bus service is provided...if anyone wants to enjoy 1st year must take hostel..

Academic is good....nit teachers teach...n few private ones... curriculum is old but it's system of India what to say ....we study According to course and try to more thlearn many more things with senior n self....yeah it makes the job ready....the DSA part n all practical..

Not yet done...new college next year will be done...hope nit give support....the nit support is very poor and never gives fund n all ....we don't have director too....no internship till yet but might seniors n we in future get to be seated with placement of nit as said by commissioner...

The course fee is high due to new college but we didnt get good campus n hostel for all years....only for 1st year hostel is provided....not much facilities n all...bus is limited...for both junior n senior girls...money worth is poor..UP obc don't get scholarship dur to UP CM.

Campus Life is good....enjoy hostel Life n have talk with senior ....get to do preparation for freshers n all...sports we get access ....staff is not so good to support but if student is good and have courage can manage all like I n many seniors...some teachers support.

You can choose this college...I tryyr senior willbest to give u as much as I can wrt curriculum sports knowledge coding ML AI etc...we r in a developing state every clg is in this phase...I felt disappointed but also feel good that I got chance to make it a good college n give it fame n value...etc

It's a new college, so we dont have our own campus yet, but we are given a place in MANIT Bhopal. We have our own Computer Science labs and other labs are provided by MANIT. We also share our library and sport centers with MANIT Bhopal, which are good enough I'd say. Hostels are a bit of an issue. The hostel provided by college, for boys is only till first year. Girls for all years can stay though. It is a little far, RGPV Bhopal (if you want to google). We do have bus service for hostellers.

The curriculum seems good. The syllabus seems at par with the recent developments in the field. We have studied Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, TOC, all necessary subjects. I am still in 2nd year so, there's a lot more to go. The teachers, aren't permanent yet. Some classes are taken by experienced teachers from MANIT Bhopal, while some are taken by temporary faculty. I can say, its improving. We are definitely better than last year. Teachers are trying hard too

We don't have any placement records yet, since the first batch will just reach their last year , this 2020. And we do know there's Covid 19 spread right now. So I can't really say what's going to happen with the placements this year. Fingers crossed though. Hope all goes well.

The fees seems a little high. Its just 1.18 lac/year for us because, for the first two batches, colleges give 50% concession. But for the following years, is going to be a bit higher. We don't really get the full value of it, but I am hoping this improves in the following years. We have a lot of space to improve and the college is trying.

Again, we don't have our own campus, but most of MANIT Bhopal Campus is accessible to us. We can use the labs and auditoriums and sports centers. They are all a little far for first years because they'll have to come all the way from RGPV to get here, but if you're living close to college somewhere on your own, you can try and make use of all the things. One of the main markets of Bhopal, New Market, and MP Nagar, which is basically the hub for coaching centers are both not far from college.

We have a lot of room for improvement, since we don't have our own campus, but the college is trying hard. We, the students, are trying hard, making sure we get ourselves and our juniors as many facilities as we can. It is surely going to improve soon enough :)
