IIIT Dharwad Ph.D Courses & Fees 2025

For OBC-NCL-PwD students at IIIT Dharwad , the tuition fee is the same as for general students. The tuition fee is Rs. 1,67,400 per semester.

At the time of admission, students also need to pay a one-time admission fee of Rs. 10,000 and refundable deposits of Rs. 30,000 (institute and hostel caution). Hostel and mess charges are around Rs. 45,000 per semester (hostel Rs. 25,000–32,000 plus mess advance Rs. 20,000).

So, in the first semester, the total fee comes to about Rs. 2,52,400. From the second semester onwards, students pay around Rs. 2,12,400 per semester (tuition plus hostel and mess).

At present, IIIT Dharwad does not provide tuition fee waivers for OBC-NCL students, even if they are PwD. Fee concessions are available only for SC/ST and some PwD students under those categories. However, OBC-NCL students can apply for external scholarships offered by government or state schemes.

Yes as an OBC NCL PwD student you are eligible for full tuition fee waiver at IIIT Dharwad but you still need to pay other charges like hostel charges, admission fees and other mislleneous expenses.

To get this benefit make sure to provide proper and up to date documents for verification to the college. You need to submit Disability Certificate from a recognized medical authority, OBC-NCL Certificate and your family annual income certificate.
