College was nice and amazing mostly all facilities are there and infrastructure was also good. The laboratories were also there and big labs with proper wifi connection. Every classroom is having the smart board.
The university has all the infrastructure that requires but the problem is that most of the infrastructure is either damage or not in the working condition Air conditioners in management department never works

Hello there,
With a
GATE 2025 score of 417 in DA (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence)
and being from the
OPEN category
, your chances for M.Tech in
AI / AI & DS / AI & ML / DS
at
top IITs
are
very limited
, but you
may have a chance
in
newer or interdisciplinary programs at IIITs, IIITDM, and a few NITs
. Here's a breakdown:
Chances in IITs
:
Older IITs (IIT Bombay, Madras, Delhi, Kanpur, etc.):
Unlikely. Their cutoffs for OPEN category in AI-related programs are typically
600+
in GATE score.
Newer IITs (like IIT Bhilai, IIT Jammu, IIT Goa):
Slight chance in interdisciplinary or niche programs,
especially if seats remain vacant
.
Chances in NITs:
You have moderate chances for M.Tech in AI/ML/DS in:
NIT Trichy
NIT Surathkal
NIT Silchar
NIT Jalandhar
NIT Nagaland
(newer programs) You can check
CCMT counselling
for these.
Chances in IIITs:
Your score is suitable for:
IIITDM Kancheepuram – Yes , you have a fair chance for programs like:
M.Tech in Data Science
M.Tech in AI/ML (if offered)
IIIT Hyderabad – Tough; they have separate admissions with a high bar.
IIIT Bangalore
– Unlikely with this score unless they consider DA paper with other criteria.
Suggestions:
Participate in CCMT 2025 counselling (for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs).
Explore IIITDM Kancheepuram through their own admission portal or CCMT.
Keep an eye on spot rounds/vacant seats in lesser-known institutes.
I would recommend you to use GATE College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank or percentile.

Hello,
Based on your JEE Main score of 52 and category rank of 58,842 (in Tamil Nadu), it might be difficult for you to secure admission in NIT Trichy, IIIT, or IIITDM Kancheepuram, based on previous year cut-off trends.
NIT Trichy (National Institute of Technology Trichy) : The cut-off for general category students is usually very high, and even for reserved categories, it remains competitive. Your rank is likely to be far from the required cut-off in most branches.
IIITDM Kancheepuram : Similar to NITs, IIITDM also has a high cut-off, but it may vary slightly. Your rank may be challenging for some of the top branches, though you might have a slim chance in some lower-demand branches.
IIITs : The cut-offs in IIITs also tend to be quite high. With your current rank, securing admission into the top branches might be tough, but again, there could be a chance for some lesser-demand branches.
In short, based on the previous year's trends, getting admission into these institutes with the given rank might be challenging, but you could explore other options or consider waiting for spot rounds or other counselling options.
Hope it helps !
