The School of Planning and Architecture was established in 1941 and it has attained Deemed University status in 1979. It was recognized as an Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament, 2015. School offers planning, architecture and design courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It offers 10 postgraduate programmes and 2 undergraduate programmes along with doctoral programmes.
Location: School of Planning and Architecture is located at 4, Block B, Beside State Bank of India, Indraprastha Marg, IP Estate, New Delhi. It is less than one km from the ITO Metro station and ITO Bus stop. Students can reach the college by road transport, through both bus routes as well as auto-rickshaws or e-rickshaws from the nearest Metro or bus station.
Centre for Analysis and Systems Studies (CASS): CASS impart IT services in academics and administrative work of the school functioning. It facilitates technical support and assistance in conducting classes, training programmes in software application for faculty and staff. It provides internet facility to all departments of Planning and Architecture Blocks and Girls hostel block. The centre maintains a school website and employee attendance management.
Design Innovation Centre (DIC): The centres have been established in government institutions under the National Initiative for Design Innovation (NIDI) Scheme as a flagship programme by MHRD. DIC is a platform for product or process innovations for students, faculty and citizens to give ideas that can be developed as products/processes.
SPA Alumni Association: The association plays a very active supporting role in the development of the School.
Anti Ragging Committee: Anti-Ragging Committee of SPA ensures compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of the law concerning ragging is in force. It also monitors and oversees the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
Placement Cell: Placement Cell provides an interface between students and industry. It organizes campus placement. Students and Industries are required to follow the placement policy of SPA, New Delhi.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC): IQAC is focussed on the development and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for academic and administrative activities.

Admission to the above courses will be through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
Apply online through the JAC portal and appear for JEE Main Paper-2.

Admission to the Ph.D. Programmes held throughout the year, which is subject to the holding of the meeting of the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) and Joint Committee of Departmental Research Committee (JDRC).
The selection of scholars shall be made by the respective DRCs after giving due consideration to the qualifications and on interviewing the candidates.
The SPA has the facilities of the library, sports and hostel. It also has the facility of Documentation and Publications Unit (DPU) and Geographic Information System (GIS) Lab:
Library: The School of Planning Architecture’s library maintains well-stocked libraries in both Planning and Architecture campuses. SPA has a vast and eclectic collection of books, journals, databases, audio-visual aids, CDs, DVDs, e-books, project reports and course material. The library has a subscription to 70 print and e-journals, JSTOR with access to more than 2065 archived e-journals. A digital library fulfils the electronic material needs of the SPA and it has an institutional membership of DELNET. Open Access System is followed in the library.
Sports Cell: The Sports Cell encourage students in various sports and facilitates through coaching in various government-run coaching schemes at different sports complexes across the Delhi NCR. The School offers sports facilities for basketball, badminton, volleyball, garden gym, table tennis and billiards. The Sports Cell also encourages informal sports activities such as cycling city tours and inter-class matches of cricket.
Hostel Accommodation: The School has limited hostel accommodation. This is offered only to outstation students based on the availability of seats and in accordance with hostel rules framed by the school from time to time.
Documentation and Publications Unit (DPU): The units look after the publication of SPA‘s quarterly journal - SPACE. It also brings out SPA Abstracts. SPA Abstracts contains a synopsis of significant articles featured in technical journals subscribed by the School. The DPU unit also scan newspapers which are scanned daily and items of technical and professional interest to physical design and planning professions are collected and displayed on notice boards. All these cuttings are maintained in the classified files for use as research materials.
Conservation Materials Laboratory (CML): Conservation Materials Laboratory or CML was established to provide scientific training in testing ancient artefacts and materials. The CML is equipped to carry out both physical examination under magnification, and chemical analysis for determining composition and characteristics of material mortals, etc.
Geographic Information System (GIS) Lab: The GIS Lab conduct GIS classes for students belonging to different Department of Studies of the School. It conducts training programme from time to time for students and faculty members.

You haven't mentioned your Category. With 57 percentile your All India Rank is 100-57*112679/100 your All India Rank is approximately approximately 48451. Now the closing rank for B.Arch under General Category is 2157. Though we do not have Reserved Category cut offs data and cut offs change every year, with an All India Rank of 48451 it is tad difficult for a seat with this rank in SPA Vijayawada. You might have to appear for July session.

as per the verified reviews we can say school of planning and architecture has good placements because this college only provide two undergraduate courses that are B.arch and B.plan so their main focus is on placement cell and which is really doing great , in the last of the course B.arch students are being provided a paid internship of 6 months by which students get experience and this further help in placement session.

Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. It's difficult to predict exact marks to get admission into SPA Delhi as its one of the top Architecture college you need to score good. Marks around 300 will help in getting admission into SPA Delhi. Aptitude is a good section to score more so practice as much as you can the more you practice the more concepts you'll learn.
