Assam University Placement Process

Assam University Placement Cell sends out invitations to various companies by enclosing the placement brochure. Interested recruiters, after confirming the invitation, fix a date for initiating the process.

The quality of placements is very fantastic. 90 percent student gets placed. The highest salary package ranges from 5 to 10 lpa. The placement process is very easy and the college administration and placement section are very supportive.

The quality of placement is pretty low out here. We hardly get any campus placement here. Though a few department has a some placement but not upto the market standard. So overall the university needs to work on its placement cell so that maximum people gets placed.

Assam University is a Central university which offers various of courses both in masters and bachelor level. To be eligible for BA Economics in Assam University you must have:

A minimum 50% marks in 12th Or any other equivalent exam.
A minimum 45% marks in English subject in class 12.

Yes,you can change your college/uni from one university to other in 2nd year but the chances are really low try to score really good marks in your 1st year and also make sure you get a seat before going for another university and then proceed for further process, you'll need migration certificate and probably a NOC from the former university.
