IIIT Una Scholarship Slots with the Financial Year
IIMs, IITs, IIITs, AIIMSs, NITs, NIFTs, NIDs and other central government institutions are eligible for this scheme. A total of 21,500 scholarships are offered for the time period of 2021-22 to 2025-26. These slots are distributed among all types of institutions based on the decision of the selection committee for new and renewal students. Here is the list of fresh slots in respective years.

If a candidate is from a private sector institution, then the student will get Rs. 2 lakhs per annum as a tuition fee and along with that academic allowance of Rs 86,000 in the first year and Rs. 41,000 in every subsequent year is provided.

Academics
The B. Tech. programme curriculum is well-designed, updated and relevant, which makes the students industry-ready. The college exams are a bit difficult it is easy to pass due to average system used. The evaluation of exams is based on the relative grading system which is awesome. The calendar for the academic year is always fixed in college and exams includes CT1, CT2 (20 Max each) and end semester exam of 100 marks each. The student to teacher ratio stands at approximately 15:1, with a majority of teachers holding P.hd. degrees. The quality of teaching is about average. The faculty is supportive and proficient. Our college also invites faculty for different guest lectures.
College Infra
IIIT Una is present in the elite list of IIIT's, which have their own permanent campus, which is located in Saloh, Una. The entire campus is equipped with wifi access. There are two blocks: admin block and academic block. Classes are conducted in academic block. All the classroom labs are equipped well with the state of the art equipments. The campus provides all sports facilities which includes athletics track, football ground, cricket ground, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball and badminton courts, along with indoor table tennis, chess, carrom facilities. All the equipments in the classrooms and labs are well maintained and latest technology. The IIIT Unna Library, present in academic block, has a vast collection of books related to the curriculum. Study rooms are also provided to the students. The whole campus of the college and the environment around is very clean and hygienic.
Campus Life
The campus is located in rural area, ten kilometers away from Una City thus having a quiet lifestyle and relaxed environment. There are various fests and events conducted throughout the year. The annual feasts include: YALGAAR which is our sports fest and MERAKI which is our technical fest and MRIDANG which is our cultural fest. Also there are various student clubs formed in our college which conduct many events throughout the year. The student community is very good at our college. The junior-senior bonding is very good at our college and seniors are always friendly and helpful to the juniors and guide them towards success in their journey.
Placements
The B. Tech. placements of IIIT Una are quite good and they are growing exponentially every passing year. Referring to the placement statistics of the year 2023, The average package stood at INR 15 LPA (Compared to INR 12.1 LPA in 2022). the highest package offered during the placement drive 2023 INR 46.5 LPA on-campus and in INR 60 LPA off-campus. Therefore, an improving trend was witnessed in the placements over the past years during IIIT Una B.Tech. placements. the top recruiters are: Amazon, Linkedin, BharatPe, Expedia, Goldman Sachs, Apache, C-DoT, Infosys, Deloitte, Jio etc. Almost 90% students get placed in college. The placements are coordinated by the placement and training cell of our institute, CDC (Career Development Cell). The placement process was very smooth and the students were very pleased with it. The college and the placement coordinator was very supportive during the process.
Value For Money
The fee structure for B. Tech. programme at IIIT Una for 2023-2027 includes two types of fees: Institute fees and Hostel fees. The Institute fees is INR 1,25,000 per semester. The hostel fees is inr 43,190 per semester. Unlike NITs,IITs, There are no direct scholarships provided by IIITs. But, one can opt for different government scholarships at the central or state level as per your eligibility.

Academics
Academics are decent. The faculties are knowledgeable, and there are good resource of learning. The courses are updated, and it's a reasonable place for education. Students here are also good and create a good environment of study.
College Infra
At IIIT Una , classroom and labs are pretty good. Its a nice place to study with modern facilities. The campus has some cool spots to hangout. Overall it's a decent college environment there. some more infra is building also.
Campus Life
Campus life at IIIT Una is lively. There are various clubs and activities and there is always something happening. From events to informal hangouts, it adds a good balance to academic routine. Cultural, Technical and sports fest happen every year in sept.
Placements
Placements are on the rise each year. Placement cell is working hard, and more companies are showing interest. It's promising to see the improvement, and students are getting better oppertunities. Average package is 15 LPA.
Value For Money
Education you get seems to be worth the money. The facilities and learning resources justify the expenses. It's not too pricey, and you get reasonable value for your investment in education. One can look for good ROI from college

Academics
As we all know that in engineering, we have to study by own. Everywhere some teachers are good and some are not. Our curriculum has been updated. The 6th semester is fully dedicated for internship which is good for students. Perhaps it will help in placements too.
College Infra
IIIT UNA has not permanent campus. It runs in Nit campus Hamirpur Himachal pradesh (which is transit campus-1). The students of graduation year from 2019-2023 study in transit campus-2 (which is in Una).
Campus Life
As we don't have our own campus. According to me, TC - 1 runs under NIT Hamirpur so the students, who are studying in TC-1 are living their life in a good way but the students, who are in TC-2 are not living their life in a good way because of lack of facilities.
Placements
Placement criteria is good. As in the year 2019 all students were placed. Some of them got foreign placements. Now, some students got the offers for internship from foreign companies. Some students got good rank in coding competition also due to their position, they have been offered for good internship.
Value For Money
It costs about 2.5 lakh per year including hostel fees. As IIIT runs under PPP(public private partnership) mode and also under MHRD. It costs for 2.5 lakh per year which is equal to the fee of some private colleges. According to me, I don't feel that I'm getting my money worth because of facility provided in comparison to another the cost.

Hello,
I would advise you to choose IIIT Ranchi (CSE) from the JOSAA counselling over the other two colleges since IIIT Ranchi is superior to IIIT Dharwad in all areas, particularly the placement cell.
The best course of action, in my opinion, is to employ your lectures' advise because they are totally qualified, knowledgeable about various universities, and familiar with their statistics. And I just based my response on what other students placed and said about it.

NIE Mysore is better as compared to IIIT Una.
NIE Mysore is a very good institution since it offers a learning environment and teaching staff that you won't find in Bangalore. The greatest weather in India can be found in Mysore, which is also the cleanest city in the nation. People talk about the shits of exposure. However, the larger the city you reside in, the more it will serve as a distraction for you, regardless of how you choose to spend your assets! In the core mechanical branch, NIE is regarded as being the second-best college after NIT Surathkal. But this year, a CS student received the biggest prize, totaling 28 lakhs.
