IIIT Ranchi Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

There is lack of infrastructure due to unavailability of permanent campus, currently college is running in temporary campus with two different locations of hostel, may be after shifting in permanent campus infrastructure will be good

Academic is fine. Mostly faculty are Assistance professor . There is dedicated labs for all lab courses. There are also many technical clubs which focus on learning,so academic wise college is good no issue

By stats wise placement percentage was very good. Average package and median package are also very good and recently it breaks all records of highest package. Currently highest package is 1.25 cr which is very good

Fee is slightly high ,so think about it

Without permanent campus, campus life is not very good

Infrastructure is decent, with good greenery and scenic surroundings. However, the lack of a permanent campus limits facilities and development. Overall, there is potential for improvement. Rating: 3/5.

Academics are decent, with a good curriculum and learning opportunities. However, teaching quality and academic support could be more consistent. Overall, a satisfactory academic experience. I am satisfied.

Placement opportunities are promising, especially for CSE students. With good preparation and technical skills, students can aim for decent packages. Overall, placement prospects are good. It's off campus included.

With fees of around ₹16 lakh for four years, IIIT Ranchi feels expensive compared to its facilities and overall campus experience. Better infrastructure and amenities would improve its value for money.

Campus life is limited due to the lack of a permanent campus. Facilities and the overall college atmosphere could be much better. Student life has potential, but the experience feels incomplete. Rating: 2/5.

IIIT Ranchi is an average college with decent academics and opportunities, but infrastructure, campus life, and facilities need improvement. Overall, it has potential, but there is room for growth.

It has essential facilities needed for engineering students but its biggest disadvantage is that it is operating on temporary academic building rather than fully developed independently developed campus. It has classrooms, semi defined labs, library, wifi and sports facilities. Cleanliness and food hygiene are although good but need to improve.

I’m studying Mathematics and Computing at IIIT Ranchi because of its focus on technology and problem solving. They provide a good foundation in core subjects, algorithms and algebra, good practical knowledge too. The curriculum covers relevant technical concepts but more projects, tools, internships opportunities will make students better prepared for placements and future goals.

IIIT Ranchi offers a decent placement opportunities with an average package of Rs 12.36 LPA and Highest package of Rs 1.25 CR per annum in recent year placement. However I believe that placement depends on individual skills and preparation. More internships and placement guidance will make the process even better.

As a student of IIIT Ranchi I feel that managing tution fees, hostel charges and other expenses requires careful planning because it will cost approximately 4 lakhs per year for b.tech at this institute. I feel that value for money is reasonable because of the technical curriculum and placement opportunities.

My experience at IIIT Ranchi has been a mix of good and challenging moments. The campus provides opportunities to interact with other batch-mates and seniors, participation in sports and engagement in technical activities. The student community is friendly and the environment supports learning.

We have shortage of necessary infrastructure like sports facilities and required equipments. classrooms of the campuses are good but not at the standard of Institute of national importance and yes we have Wi-Fi and projectors

I am in 1st year and my branch is CSE with Artificial Intelligence and data science. quality of teaching is not so good. Faculties are not supportive and just taking their salaries. You have to study at your own

Placement data tell us the placements are good but reality is different, no good product based company come for that full time offers and it is mostly the off campus and college don't provide the facilities for campus placements

well the college essentially lags in terms of permanent campur and the khelgaon hostels are actually a bit of a mess , considering the labs they are equiped with the requirements. we have decent classrooms but they have very small boards and lighing problems , for library we can only get book but can't study there as there is no place to study , we don;t have any sports centre there is just open gounds where you can play , for the bsnl hostel they are quiet good with maintanence but for khelgaon they really need to taek care about , we do have wifi equiped facilites but at times they provide like very poor speed .. taking about the hostel hygiene so yes we do get cleaning services time to time but we do find insect number of times in the mess food .

we have epdated curriculum which helps us get job ready for the industry standards , the quality of teaching may lag a little bit but it really helps in building a good foundation for developing skills.

before 2024 we really got very good placement stats but after that there has been a decline in the placements percentage , for cs baseed there are number of companies providing jobs but for ece students there is very less to almost no opportunities . The avg for cs is really good specially for the specialization in DS AI for ece there is a decline as there are no core companies comming to provide them the jobs .

well the fees for 4 years is almost 16 lkhs so if your main focus is placement the it this college can be good option but it really lags behind a traditional college life . Tehfees definitely seems a little higher on comparing it to the type of facilities we get .

there is no campus so don't come wit hthe expectations of getting a campus life . for fun activities you can play different sports in the provided grounds thats it. The location is safe for staying there isn't any safety related problem for girls and boys , but in the recent case of suicide it has shown some concern on handelling emergencies .

College infra is very bad no library no AC even not enough fan in classroom. There is also not facilities for library or study room. Library serves only for book borrow purpose only. Bsnl hostel is quitegood in compare to khelgaon

Here the academic pressure is a high as compared to other institution of national importance like nit or iit. You have to study 7 subject along with 2 practical in semester 1. Here you don't have to study more physics and chemistry

The placement last year have increased drastically specially they have done very good in my DS&AI branch averaging 22 lpa and median of 20 lpa. Overall the college have increased his median from 12 to 14-15

The college is currently operating from temporary campuses at BSNL and Khelgaon Society as the permanent campus is not ready yet. Still, we have the basic facilities required for our studies, including labs, a central library and a good mess facility.

The academics are quite good here because of the modern curriculum. Most of our faculty members have IIT backgrounds and good knowledge of their subjects. The teaching helps us build a strong understanding of the concepts. So overall best if you are eager to grab from them

The placement opportunities at our college are quite good compared to many other colleges. Recently, one of our seniors received a package of over ₹1 crore in rubrik, which is a great achievement. Training and Placement Cell is also working actively, and product-based companies are visiting the campus for recruitment.so best return on investment college

College infrastructure is very beautiful and college campus is attractive, college gives facilities best and all equipment available to used . Suitable fan, light, WiFi facilities available in college and hostel, sports facilities available in our college campus. Hostel room clean and suitable living area , and food facilities

I am studying about web development, software development and many courses available in our campus, so I studying because I was developing my skills and experience .Yes ,I think our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in our field, I think I was studying about web development, and development my other skills including AI/ML also soo these skills are ready to a job .

I think in our college campus quality of campus is good because very less company's come in our college and gives good job opportunities to our students, soo I think in our college placement rate is 80 to 90 % and in our college campus highest package offered in college history is 1.25 cr and he was developed skills in AI and he did computer science course. Average sallery offered by company to our students is 8 to 10 lakh . And this is easy because college faculty is supportive and students are struggle hard to get a Great job opportunity.

although the permanent campus is still await the college provides the essential infrastructure needed for students. The labs support practical learning, and we have a central library for studying. The mess facility is also good.Hopefully, the permanent campus will bring even better facilities in the future

Our curriculum is well designed and focuses on modern technical education and upto industry level and Our faculty members have strong subject knowledge, and many have IIT backgrounds. Students also take part for technical events and hackathons

The college has shown improvement in placements over the years, with encouraging opportunities for students. The return on investment is also good considering the cost of education and the potential career prospects after graduation and you will get alumni network here

My course costs approximately ₹4 lakh per year. I believe I am getting reasonable value for my money because the college provides academic support, learning resources, and opportunities to develop technical skills. However, I feel that practical learning, industry exposure, and placement support could be improved further. Overall, the value for money depends on how effectively I use the available resources and opportunities.

Campus life at my college is a good learning experience. It provides opportunities to interact with new people, make friends, and develop communication and teamwork skills. Students can learn from each other and participate in academic and extracurricular activities. The overall environment helps students grow both personally and academically. However, more cultural events, technical activities, and student-led programs would make campus life even better. Overall, college life is a memorable experience that offers opportunities for learning, friendship, and personal growth.

As of now we don't have our permanent campus, so classes are conducted at the BSNL and Khelgaon Society campuses. The infrastructure is decent and we have the necessary labs and other facilities for academics. The central library and mess are also helpful for students.

One thing I like about my college is the academics. The curriculum is modern as compared to others and our professors are knowledgeable about their subjects. Many faculty members come from IIT backgrounds, which adds value to our learning experience. Also good management in them, one major factor is our competitive programming culture is too strong

Placements are one of the good things about our college. One of our seniors recently got a package of more than ₹1 crore, which is really motivating for us. The placement cell is doing good work, and we are also seeing product-based companies coming for on-campus placements.
