Insfrastructure is quite good and can be made better.The labs of Electrical Engineering are basically old fashioned and the equipments are not new. Coming on to the classrooms,the college has one of the best classrooms.The classrooms are well maintained with full air conditioned.Smart classes can also be conducted ,presence of projectors,well comfortable seats are present. The library of the college is very good and you can find many books there.Online E-library is also set up for the students so that they can learn from pdfs if the books are not available currently or out of the stalk. i think my opinion in sports is that this portion needs to be well maintained by the college.Everyone should get chances to play and not the selected ones who have competed in the nationals. The living rooms are cleaned and well maintained regularly.The toilets are cleaned regularly.Good foods can be bought from the cantenes or shops inside the college any time in the week days.

I am pursuing electrical engineering course from NIT Durgapur.The proffesors of my course are very strict and disciplined.They have a lot of tasks and assignments. The assignments the proffesors gave really came in handy .They help us to upgrade our on the particular topic.

The quality of placement of the college is very high.Many core and non core companies came and recruit huge amount of students from the college.Big Companies like Microsoft ,Google,Facebook,TCS as well as various core companies come to the college to recruit. The 2023 placement session concluded with 84.66% of the Btech batch placed.A total of 187 companies visited offering a total 746 job offers to the btech students.The average lpa is at INR 13.62 and the highest placement package offered was INR 70lpa TCS.

The total cost of the course is 82800 per semester and the average mess fees is around 17000 .Thus the total expenditure is about 1lakh per semester. Yes the money is worth .the facilities we are getting are excellent and is better than other colleges of West Bengal.

The college campus is very beautiful.There are a full of grenery in the campus. Students here mainly got engage in club activities.But at some point the interaction in the club is also needed. Not all the teachers are supportive of all branches.Some are very good and supportive while some are not.The college is loacted in the ,main city of Durgapur and has a efficient transportation facilities.Airports ,railway stations,as well as local transport facilities such as buses ,cars are present.The roads are well maintained and are efficient for quick transportation and can handle emergencies.

colledge infrastructure is good. roads inside the coledge are nice to walk. academic infrastructure is getting better year by year. recently a research building has been inaugrated by pm narendra modi.

teachers are well qualified and most of them have completed their graduation and post graduation from reputed institutes. lab facilities are quite nice except eectrical lab(they have quite old instruments).

getting better year by year. in campus placements are good but off campus placements are giving good packages too. non circuital branches are getting good packages (specially mechanical branch). overall good placements.

academics here are littile bit easier than IITS . but we have lot of work on assignments and lab reports and all. At exam time, we have lot of pressure on us. but overall experence is good. good college for engineers.

placements are good here. especially cs ece metallurgy mechanical etc. . we can have bring faith we us that we can get placements. and also placements teams are very helpful so that every students gets placed.

very good campus and new research building is saturated in our campus .very good library facility .my college infrastructure very good .in our campus have two big ground and some auditorium and some hostel.

academics is very good in my college .here is good professor is teach us so many extra curriculum is include in our college life and our academics is so important for placement in our college. our lab facility so good.

NIT Durgapur has all the necessary infrastrucure, facilities and equipment. To the M tech students they provide the special single room which is one of the reason it is best than other colleges. All the M tech classrooms, laboratories, libraries are air condioned. In all hostels 24X7 WI-Fi is provided.

Currently I am studying M Tecch in Computer Science and Engineering. We are in the 2nd semster and all the subjects which we are studying are regarding new technologies, like Ai, Machine learning, Deep learning and quantum computing.

Currently the placement of my college is degraded as compared to the COVID time, well in COVID time the placemnet waas really high. In year 2023-2024 placement is quite low because of the recession. For the M tech students in CSE the average salary is around 10 LPA.

The fess for semester to semester varies, for odd sem it is high but for the even sem the it wouldd be 25k less. First sem total was 1 L, 2nd sem it was 75k, 3rd sem 1 L and 4th sem 75k. Hostel fees is different, it will be constant in each semester like 20K.

Honestly as a PG student I would say that pressure in NIT is high, you have to maintain the CGPA so that you are eligible for the internnships opportunities. If someone is having less CGPA in the 1st sem then he has to work hard to do better in next sem.

If you planning to come to NIT Durgapur then please come, come with motivation and capability to do the hard work. Some of classmates are planning to leave the college because they can not handle the pressure. Just chilll guies. If you have the capability to do the hardwork then no matter in which institute you are you can do best. Before taking admission and joining the NIT Durgapur you please start practicing the coding it would help you a lot. Learn python, start working on machine learning.

The college infrastructure is great. New infrastructure is being added at a very fast pace and the labs are well equipped with all the necessary items and latest instrument. The hostels are good also.

The academics are great and the syllabus is up to date. The teachers are very friendly and they support us a lot and help us find the solution of the of our problems. Therefore it's great to have them as our company.

The placements of our college is outstanding and the placement cell works hard a lot. The placement statistics is great enough across all the branches. The packages are lucrative and top companies offer high CTC on the on campus rounds

Good maintained infrastructural facilities with Good seating arrangement and air conditioning class rooms equipped with projectors and speakers for better lecture experience of the students. Wifi enabled hostels with descent internet speed. 3 storeyed central library beside the Main Academic Building.

Experienced and well qualified faculty expert in their field of work.The departments organize various seminar and industry visit for hands on experience of the students. Also there is a frequent visits by industry experts for keeping the students updated about the changing industrial landscape.

Good placements statistics are upheld with a approx 70-75% placement rate on average with average package of 8-10 LPA. Popular private giants like- Microsoft, TCS, Atlassian,Capgemini,wells Fergo, JP Morgan , Morgan and chase,Deloitte, Samsung RnD, Qualcomm, etc PSU like BPCL,iocl,ntpc,etc

It is too good . Academically, clubs and all. Very good facilities. Teachers are also good , very supportive. New research tower is amazing. Everything is great. We can enjoy and study here also. I love this college.

Core branches are having good placements. From CSE we have more placements . We can get good placements. Placement teams are really great. We have to do work also. So that we can give maximum of ours.

Average experience about this topics. Money is quite high but it is okay. Expensive little bit. We can't do it who are from lower middle class family. We have to take loan from bank so that we can continue our studies

Campus life is better than other colleges in west Bengal. We can play, dance, single and all other activities we can do here. Seniors are very interactive in this case. We can play football, vollyball inside campus.

We have an outstanding infrastructure in our college. Its well distributive throughout our campus with a lot of greenery with an eco friendly environment suitable for studies as well. We have a central library which accomodates more than a hundred students with numerous books.

Academics are equally good with decent professors teaching here. I sometimes feel that the classes could be a bit more captivating for the students ( as many find it boring). Else every one is highly qualified here so studying here won't be a problem.

Placements here are decent with the highest package being 70 lpa last year. An average package of 8 lpa is worthwhile in the campus. Computer science students being the most talented bags almost half of the entire placement cell in the college.

I am highly unimpressed with the value of money this college holds. People who are into this system find it very dissatisfying as clubs don't spend money at all for the winners of the events they conduct.

If you are out of all activities, zones and events, you would find a rather boring campus life with no opportunities for you to explore. There is some ragging culture here with countless with a bad senior-junior interaction.

Our college is building new infrastructure at a good pace but still there are old hostels and especially the Main Academic Building which has to be improved a lot. Even the sports facilities are not upto the standards of an institute of national importance.

The quality of teachers are pretty good over here. There are exceptions everywhere but overall it's good. Talking about the curriculum then some new courses have been added which are good but still there is a huge scope of improvement.

The placement statistics are good enough especially in comparison to the the teir 3 colleges. There are a good amount of companies visiting our campus for on campus rounds and they offer a good amount of CTC.

The fees charged vs the value it provides is quite satisfactory.
