We have an outstanding infrastructure in our college. Its well distributive throughout our campus with a lot of greenery with an eco friendly environment suitable for studies as well. We have a central library which accomodates more than a hundred students with numerous books.

Academics are equally good with decent professors teaching here. I sometimes feel that the classes could be a bit more captivating for the students ( as many find it boring). Else every one is highly qualified here so studying here won't be a problem.

Placements here are decent with the highest package being 70 lpa last year. An average package of 8 lpa is worthwhile in the campus. Computer science students being the most talented bags almost half of the entire placement cell in the college.

I am highly unimpressed with the value of money this college holds. People who are into this system find it very dissatisfying as clubs don't spend money at all for the winners of the events they conduct.

If you are out of all activities, zones and events, you would find a rather boring campus life with no opportunities for you to explore. There is some ragging culture here with countless with a bad senior-junior interaction.

Our college is building new infrastructure at a good pace but still there are old hostels and especially the Main Academic Building which has to be improved a lot. Even the sports facilities are not upto the standards of an institute of national importance.

The quality of teachers are pretty good over here. There are exceptions everywhere but overall it's good. Talking about the curriculum then some new courses have been added which are good but still there is a huge scope of improvement.

The placement statistics are good enough especially in comparison to the the teir 3 colleges. There are a good amount of companies visiting our campus for on campus rounds and they offer a good amount of CTC.

The fees charged vs the value it provides is quite satisfactory.

It's very good for btech mtech MSc phd . Very well structure student oriented . Advanced technologies advance computers . i wold like to recommend this college to every one to pursue your career .over all outstanding

Off course it's a value for money college.cause at the end of 4 year you will be in a very good place . You will be in product base company for sure.it will worth spending that much money here. You will not regret

Campus life is very good. Campus is very safe. Shops are available in Campus. Campus is very clean and we'll constructed . You can play cricket any time any games any time . You can roam any where any time

Great infracuture. All AC classrooms. Projectors are there. Hostel facility are there . Mess are there. Playground,gym,basketball court, table tennice, weight lifting all facility are there. There is a big play ground.

Very good academic .Great professor. Semester basic system. College curriculum are up to date. there is a lot of pressure for project and presentation. All subject have a practical paper . There are two exam in a semester.

Placement are good. Company like icici bank, asix bank, hdfc bank, amazon, fedex, amul , federrel bank, asian paint, polo, jio, airtel , come. average package 8 to 10 lacs lpa. Most of the companies offer a ppo.

It is a NIT . So its infructure is so good. Your have classrooms with AC , projector, smart Boards.Hostel facilities is there.There are both new and old hostel.Maney buildings are there . Every department has its separate building.

Academics are good, Mostly theory basic.Professor are well educated and famous also. They will teach you from zero to zenith.Academics are up to date.Class project, group project, and seminars are there.Semester basis system .Every semester has for 6 months.

Placement is good. You can easily grab 8 to 9 lpa packages. Many companies comes there , mostly are banks, like icici, asix, hdfc, federal etc. Company like amul, come to the campus. 100% placement every year. Summer internship are goods . You can get either paid or unpaid internship.

It is a govt. institute .It fees is less so it is a value from money college.General MBA fees up to 5 lacs .

Campus life is good. You will find many cafes, restaurants inside the campus.Many cultural programs, games are actively played here.

1.yes our college have all necessary infrastructure ,only the gym needs to be modified to a big one expect that everything is good. 2.all facilities are there in our college 3.living space is clean but this college is situated near steel plant for that reason more pollution and more coal dust.

1. I am currently pursuing mtech in cse 2.academic stress is way more as compared to other nits .in mtech 1st sem you will have more academic pressure as compared to other sem.you have to attend classes from 9 to 6.

College has a good infrastructure with all facilities provided for the students. Medical facilities as well as sports facilities provided here. Classrooms are good and hostel facilities are also provided here for the students. Food services are also decent here.

There is good faculty members. Every teacher is well qualified. The teachers are always there to help students anytime. Extra curricular activities and guest lectures are also organized for students here due to which we gets to know about the industry where we will work in future.

Undergraduate students have more good opportunities in terms of placements here and same in the case of internship. There is a separate placement cell in our college which works regarding placements in the college and keeps updating all of us regarding the placement drives.

Being a college with an infrastructure which dates back to 1960, some of the workshops and labs are too old and need an upgraded infrastructure. Though the state is improving day by day but some labs and workshops have just been left in their state. As far as facilities are concerned, being a college of national importance, it has each and every instrument and well-equipped labs and hostels. Also being located in calcutta you will have no problems with the variety of food.

I am doing my B.tech in Mechanical engineering 4 yr course. The quality of teaching here in NIT Durgapur is undoubtedly very good, though there are also some prof. who is there to make your task difficult. The curriculum is diverse and is regularly updated.

The quality of placements are good and are improving every year, thanks to our placement cell. As far as my branch is concerned, it has a placement percentage of about 88.11%, which is good in my opinion. The overall highest package is around 59.11 lakhs and college are very supportive .

The fee structure depends on category, as far as mine goes it was around 1,56,000 INR. And of course it is value for money.

The college campus is very wholesome and heartwarming, though the campus area is smaller than other NITs but the faculty, seniors and batchmates' are truly very friendly and supportive.

Yes it has a library , medical unit, sports centre and fields , classrooms ,hostels and wifi and other net connections are being provided. Moreover there are cafes and food stalls inside campus for refreshments and these areas are regularly cleaned ,are well maintained and hygienic.

Mechanical Engineering bcz that was stream I was alloted to. The teaching quality is good many teachers opt for one on one conversation and doubt planning and are extremely supporting . And yes it makes you job ready provided u also give in effort and the curriculum is updated

AVG salary value is 7-8 lakh per annum . College is supportive but students will also have to try on their own to be completely safe . The highest % was 80 approx. Mostly the quality of placements is good.

The course cost is mainly based on a student's family income and basic mess charges .so per year it should be approx 1.2 lakhs. Yes it is worth the cost especially when a lot of facilities like libraries ,medical unit, postoffice , stationary shops are inside the college premises

College campus is very good and spacious enough to hold large scale events. Many activities are organised in which students can take part like quizzes, hackathons, competitive events including arts , treasure hunts and many more. Everyone is friendly and the location is also good and has many nearby facilities and can very well handle emergencies

Infrastructure is somehow good a new research building is under construction it is near to completion. Another building in mathematics department is under construction. There is a lot of construction is going on in campus.

I am studying mechanical engineering here . Quality of teaching is good of some professor and some are bad. There is so many teachers have good experience. Curriculum is updated and job ready. There is some development are included but not all.

Placement are good in NIT Durgapur. There is almost 85% placement are there. Highest number of placement from CSE and ECE . Highest salary offered is more than 50lpa by Microsoft. Career development cell is looking for placement.
