All the required amenities are well maintained as wellas infrastructure is quite good. Mess facility is average and not at par with the expectations. In a nutshell, it is average and may not fulfil ones expectations of infrastructure at an IIT, but believe me it won't let you feel like a local college too.
The college follows unique curriculum of fractals where the semester os divided into three fractal and each fractal has its tierce exams. In total there are three tierce exams. This curriculum reduces workload during exams and also makes it easy for the students to concentrate over extra-curricular activities.
The first graduation year for btech was 2020. And almost everyone has been placed with their expectated packages. Some are also placed off-campus. Placement cell functions very well and the students have attracted several companies by their achieve during their internships.

kindly note the branch of your interest and pally it with the college ranking. you can switch between the ranking and branch selection as per your adaptability and preference. I think IITs are always the best premier institutes when opting for the core engineering stream.

Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, is one of the 6 IITs which was established in the year 2016 in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It is also known as IIT Bhilai. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

If you were to go by my opinion then i think you should take iit bhilai only if you get non core branches but if you are not getting non core branches then i don't think you should iit bhilai as it's newer iit.
