IIT Goa Facilities

Indian Institute of Technology Goa has well-structured and well-maintained facilities on campus. The IIT Goa facilities can be accessed by students, staff, and faculty members. The IIT Goa facilities include separate accommodations for boys and girls, a library, laboratories, and many others.

There are countless IIT Goa facilities for students to have a better living such as auditoriums, gymnasiums, ATMs and medical facilities. Since IIT Goa is greatly mentored by IIT Bombay, the students here participate in many clubs and form types of councils under the guidance of seniors from IIT Bombay. There are numerous music, dance, sports, drama and even stand-up comedy clubs.

Boys Hostel
IIT Dhanbad facilities include hostel facilities for the boys' students. All the necessary facilities are available for the students.
Girls Hostel
Separate hostels are available for the girls students. Separate dining hall and access to the internet and recreational facilities are also available for the students. The hostel block is just 200 metres away from the academic building.
Medical/Hospital
The campus has a medical centre that attends to the necessary medical needs like medicines of its students, faculty and staff.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students. They can visit the gymnasium to stay fit and healthy.
Library
IIT Goa has a fully air-conditioned and well-stocked library called the Central library that students and faculty could go to for their required study materials.
Sports
Students at this campus can practice many types of sports. This is due to the campus housing an indoor badminton court, a lawn tennis court, a table tennis court, a basketball ground and a volleyball court.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The campus has free Wi-Fi for its students and faculty to connect and use for their needs.
Cafeteria
The IIT Goa campus has a very hygienic cafeteria providing tasty meals on a regular basis. Students and staff both can enjoy vegetarian food with some selective non-vegetarian food served here.
Auditorium
IIT Goa has many auditoriums that are air-conditioned and open for many cultural and academic activities.
Laboratories
There are many labs constructed in IIT Goa in the academic block for Physics, Chemistry and Electrical Engineering departments.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is not so good but it's homely. It's small but all necessary things have been provided. Hostels are neat and clean. Classrooms and labs are fine too. Library also has all essential books. Hygiene is maintained in mess and canteen. Campus is also neat and clean. Wifi has been provided all over the campus.

Overall, Its a good IIT and developing at a really fast rate

Well, since its in GEC campus, IITsown buildings are really good, along with every needed equipment.. All other, IIT facilities are quite satisfying. And mess food, sometimes, is really messed up, but hygienic..

yes college has all necessary infrastructures for the capacity. of students it holds; classes are well equipped and whole hostel campus as well as class rooms have high speed wifi and lan, average > 100mbps, labs (physics , chemistry , mechanical as well as computer labs are well equipped.
