The Indian institute of technology indore was founded in 2009 and it is very new IIT so the campus is maintained and sophisticated with advanced technology you will get here everything from advance lad to sport complex etc
The IITs amongst the top institutes of world and if we specifically talk about Indian institute of technology indore then it is among top 10 iits of India the teachers and curriculum here both are too excellent
The placements rate of all the iits are to high but too specific the Indian institute of technology indore has more placements and avg placements rate then other iits here you will get avg package of 10 lakh
The infrastructure, facilities and equipments are fully updated upto max extent. It can also be because this is a new IIT so everything is built recently from hostels to laboratories to clean washrooms to hygienic water filters.
I graduated from electrical engineering branch. The professors are great. They make our concepts crystal clear if we stay attentive in their lectures. They have almost managed to stay updated on the respective branches curriculum.
The quality of placements was very excellent in our year. Everybody was getting placed but this year it can be another matter due to recession and layoffs. Placement process were easy and pleasant for me.
Infrastructure is like what should be expected of IIT. Though newly built still the infrastructure is so huge and enormous you will need cycle to roam from department to department. Everything is very hygienic also because it is situated in India's cleanest city.
I graduated from mechanical engineering from this branch. The professors also are top notch. As it is an IIT you cannot expect less from a professor, they try their best to explain things practically rather than theoretically.
The quality of placements are above par. Almost all the students get placed except the most lower ones who never studied. The placements process is also very supportive and the college supports students.
IIT Indore has super facilities, a fully equipped gym, tennis court, football ground, cricket stadium, table tennis tables, an auditorium for events, and conducts central Asia's largest fest Fluxus. All students get single occupancy room
Best class instructors, best research studies, the curriculum is updated regularly, and the experience is based on hands-on experience as we have world-class labs for conducting experiments.Research culture is very good at IIT Indore.
IIT Indore has a high placement percentage, almost every student gets placed whoever not chooses a higher study. The average salary at IIT Indore is around 24 LPA. The placement cell is very supportive to get students internships as well as placements.
Course cost per year is around 2.8 lacs per year. But there are options for students whose parental income is lesser , you can check on the website.I think this is worth it because the study, campus life, and extra activities we get .
The campus of IIT Indore is gorgeous and excellent roads connect all buildings. Around 35 percent of the campus has greenery.IIT Indore is situated around 18 km from Indore City so the environment is very peaceful. The campus has all the necessary facilities like a health center, ambulance service, and security service so it is very safe.
If anyone getting a chance to get IIT Indore I would say you should choose it you will never fell bad about your decision.
Superb, world class facilities, equipped with GYM,tennis court, football ground, cricket stadium, table tennis table, auditorium for events, conducts central Asia's largest feat fluxus which gathers large crowd every year
World class instrutors, best for research studies, curriculum is updated regularly , the experience is based on hands on experience as we have world class labs for conducting experiment and getting the industry experience
High placement percentage, high graduate ratio and strong alumni network, it's worth it , average salary offered is somewhere around 15-17 lakh per annum . It has a placement cell which is very effecient also has its own enterpreneur cell
College is very outside and inside Even play grounds and hostels are very nicely maintained classrooms are sufficiently big specifically sports club and cultural clubs are very useful to bring you talents up.
Very good if you really want to study. Lecturers are very patient they will repeat if you ask and the also explain briefly and the projects that they give in college are very useful to bring out your skills
Offers are definitely come but on ur performance not only cgpa ur attitude towards work matters on average 18 lakhs per annual will get .college will definitely support you to get job . Highest package is around 50 lakhs
We are currently studying in online mode.I have not gone to college yet. But from my seniors,I came to know that it has all facilities and living spaces are very clean but I think our seniors are having some issues with mess food apart from that everything is good.
Quality of teaching is really good but I feel that inordery to make our job ready we have to gain knowledge from outside also. We should not completely depend upon college teaching and yeah I feel that our curriculum is updated.
I don't have any knowledge about placements in our branch but through my seniors I came to know that placements in CSE branch are very good. Many good companies visit our college but one thing to keep in mind is our placement will depend wholly upon our skills.
We have many clubs in order to achieve overall development in students.
Since it is newly built, infrastructure is latest and with new techs. Hostels are awesome. Labs are up to date and library has a great collection of books. Transport facilities are provided. Lush greenery in the campus.
I am studying Astronomy for my masters from IIT Indore. The Curriculum here is vast, and detailed. There is one year for theoretical courses and one year is reserved for research project. Reasearch project for one year results in an MSc thesis and often leads to a published paper in a peer reviewed journal
It is really not common for M.Sc. Students to seek placements as most of them go for Ph.D. However, it one works hard enough admission in a good (even international) university can be secured. Teachers are a great help throughout.
M.Sc. costs about 35 k with hostel and without food for a semester. This is however totally worth it.
Awesome environment, great campus.
All the amenities are available with modern interiors and equipments. Facilities like bank post, hostel ,canteen, cafes are available inside the campus. The labs are well equipped with latest technologies you will find some machines which may not available in whole state.
The college is well known for its research work professor have deep knowledge in their respective fields. The classroom program are interactive and you are always free to clear your doubts. The classes are scheduled with labs to have practical knowledge and you still have enough time for yourself.
Placements are really good for coding coming to core you can still go for coding if interested. Companies do come for placement in core branches. The overall average placement package of IIT INDORE is quite good.
Overall package for enjoyment and studies.
Best you wil ever find and will remember for the rest of your life.
Happy with my overall journey.
Excellent infrastructure of Hostel buildings alongwith nice facilities, Technologically advanced tools and equipments are used in the laboratories, Although Sports centre and some other recreational facilities are still under construction at the time.
Quite high emphasis is given to academic prospects in the curriculum and institute strives to achieve a higher research output every year. However, it would be better if the courses provide a little more insights to the real world and current industry knowledge in some of the domains.
The placement scenario is great for some of the branches in the institute and a lot of students end up having offers with great companies and industries. However, students in certain engineering branches face difficulties with job offers due to a little lack of companies visiting the campus for their respective fields.
IIT Indore does not offer course of design diploma course after class 10 . Design Courses are available after class 12 not class 10 . Students can do Bachelor's in design after class 12 as Bachelor of Design . If you are interested in this course , complete your 12th first then prepare for entrance exam UCEED ( Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design ) .
Hello Ayushi,
With a GATE score of 402 in the OBC category, securing admission to M.Tech programs in Biotechnology at IITs may be challenging. For instance, IIT Delhi's 2022 cutoff for Biomedical Engineering was 650 for OBC candidates.
It's advisable to check the specific admission criteria of each IIT and consider applying to multiple institutions to increase your chances.
Hope it helps !
Scoring 140 marks in Part A of UCEED 2025 is a great achievement. To assess your chances of getting into an IIT, let's look at the previous year's cutoffs.
In UCEED 2023, the cutoffs for the general category were:
- IIT Bombay: 1-16
- IIT Guwahati: 17-59
- IIT Hyderabad: 21-53
- IIITDM Jabalpur: 55-93
Considering your score, you might have a good chance of getting into IIT, especially if your drawing marks are decent. However, please note that the cutoffs can vary from year to year.
To give you a better idea, the mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2025) are 61.50 and 25.69, respectively. The cutoffs for Part-A marks to shortlist candidates in the OPEN category will be calculated based on these values.
Keep in mind that the final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of Part A and Part B. So, it's essential to perform well in the drawing section as well.
I recommend checking the official UCEED for the latest updates on cutoffs and merit lists.
