Yes, our college has a very good infrastructure. WiFi and classrooms are well maintained. The living spaces are clean and food is hygienic. Our laboratories are well maintained. Sports centre is yet to be constructed.
I am an undergraduate in Metallurgy and Materials Science stream. The quality of teaching is good. Yes, the curriculum is updated and also includes the recent developments in the field considering the suggestions and reviews of the erstwhile students and also the staff.
The quality of placements are good. Maximum number of students are placed in various MNC's from branches like Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and less in case of other branches. The highest salary offered was 1.7 cr per annum .
Yes. Institution has necessary infrastructures like library, labs, sports, gym, canteens etc . The class rooms are not quite good as expected. But bow new class rooms are builted thore are highly standard class rooms. And all the facilities are really awesome. Yes, all the places are clean and hygiene.
I am studying Astronomy by enthusiasm. But the quality of teaching was not I expected before joining the institution. Yes, the updates are regarding whole structure of the course are well maintained time to time.
Actually I am beginning of the student. I don't know particularly. Since last year's 70 percent of people getting placements here. Anout the salary actually I didint know. But, the expected salary will come for the iitis I hope so.
Yeh. Absolutely value for money. Event though you have to much money for 6grade student in this situation. But IIT provide provides better opportunities with our money to explore the nation. I definitely satisfied with the money value.
The campus life was really good. You can get good friends and enemies as you want. And you can tie all your emotions in your pocket. We already know students will help most we didn't expect as much. But the professors are maintaining therir decorum here.
Beeter to join IIT not only this any IIt is beeter standards.
Well when it comes to college infrastructure indian institute of technology indore has best among all IITs. we have all necessary facilities in our classes and extraordinary facilities in our labs. And they are well maintained. And when we talk about the hygien at our living spaces and mess is very excellent.
I'm studying postgraduation in chemistry. And quality of teaching at IIT Indore is good . Teachers are always available for you . you can contact them easily and get in touch with them. teachers are really good and helpful.
well i'm from postgraduation side ,so most of our time spend in lab only. we don't get much company for ourseleves . Because main focus of palcement coordinators are on Btech student . so i can say it;s bad for post graduation student.
yes
well campus life is outstanding .
The construction is going at a very good pace. All the labs are shifted to the main campus at Simrol. The IIT-INDORE SIMROL campus is almost ready. All the academic, sports, research & others are shifted to the main campus itself. The Hostels are also present in the campus. Only the fourth year and MTech( not sure) students stay outside the campus which are provided by IITs itself in places like Silver Springs etc. ( Rooms which are Premium 2/3BHK). Silver Springs are probably one of the best.
Academic section is quite exquisite. Institute caters a sublime coding culture. It’s NIRF ranking is second best amongt the newer IITs. A Every IIT has its own charm and I pretty liked IIT Indore’s.join this for getting what you have dreamt.

Nearly 60 thousand per semester including hostel. You will not regret after paying this amount.
IIT Indore is like a small village, people are bound together by strong emotional ties unlike those in larger institutes where a crowd of 2000 is just scattered and segregated into bunch of students. Here we live as a small happy family. There is no distinction between a senior and a junior, the teachers are easily approachable and everyone is special in his or her own way among the batch mates. Being a new IIT, it allows you to discover yourself by exposing you to everything new.
Join this prestigious institute which will surpass old IITs in future.
Being a new generation IIT the college isn't yet complete but it is still huge. The main highlight of the campus I'ld say are it's hostels.IITI has 7 world class hostels which are better than any of the IITs. It also has 4 cafes. A huge mess just adds up to it.There'r table tennis badminton carrom facilities available in every hostel.A central library is under construction which'ld be the biggest in all IITs .With lots of greenary and mountains around it's just a delight being here.
There are 5 btech branches here namely CSE, Ee, Me, ce and mems. The course is strictly of IIT Bombay's pattern. There is a great coding culture here and stays always in the top 3 in the country. This year too IITI has qualified for ICPC finals2020 to be held in Moscow .There is less burden of exams like in iit delhi. The research culture is very tremendous having produced many research scolars.
The placement here depends on the branch basically. Cse students have very amazing placements. Packages have even gone high upto 1.6 crores in year 2015. In core branches like ee ,me placement has been decent with average package being around 13 lacs. The first batch of civil and mems has not passed out yet ,so there placement status is unchecked but many core sector companies like lnt and all are expected to come on the basis of internship details.
It's completely worth the money. Having hostels giving the experience of hotels with fully automated washrooms and doors everywhere it is just amazing being here. To move across you have caddies plying at short intervals. Also the kind of sports facilities, campus fets and clubs and the kind of comprehensive education system ,it is completely worth the money you give in.
With various clubs and sports facilities you have hell lot to enjoy after your studies. Having specialised clubs in cinematography, photography ,drama and many such things.
IIT Indore does not offer course of design diploma course after class 10 . Design Courses are available after class 12 not class 10 . Students can do Bachelor's in design after class 12 as Bachelor of Design . If you are interested in this course , complete your 12th first then prepare for entrance exam UCEED ( Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design ) .
Hello Ayushi,
With a GATE score of 402 in the OBC category, securing admission to M.Tech programs in Biotechnology at IITs may be challenging. For instance, IIT Delhi's 2022 cutoff for Biomedical Engineering was 650 for OBC candidates.
It's advisable to check the specific admission criteria of each IIT and consider applying to multiple institutions to increase your chances.
Hope it helps !
Scoring 140 marks in Part A of UCEED 2025 is a great achievement. To assess your chances of getting into an IIT, let's look at the previous year's cutoffs.
In UCEED 2023, the cutoffs for the general category were:
- IIT Bombay: 1-16
- IIT Guwahati: 17-59
- IIT Hyderabad: 21-53
- IIITDM Jabalpur: 55-93
Considering your score, you might have a good chance of getting into IIT, especially if your drawing marks are decent. However, please note that the cutoffs can vary from year to year.
To give you a better idea, the mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2025) are 61.50 and 25.69, respectively. The cutoffs for Part-A marks to shortlist candidates in the OPEN category will be calculated based on these values.
Keep in mind that the final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of Part A and Part B. So, it's essential to perform well in the drawing section as well.
I recommend checking the official UCEED for the latest updates on cutoffs and merit lists.
