The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities available. Classroom, labs, libraries,etc are all air-conditioned with proper wifi connection. The sports facilities include all the necessary equipment required.

I'm doing my graduation in Civil Engineering. I'm currently a 3rd year student here. The quality of teaching is nice, the professors are all well learned, and they explain the details in a nice way. The curriculum is quite updated.

Being an IIT, the placement statistics are quite good here. The major companies of all the fields come here for the placement season. The highest package was 1.54 crore, it was offered to 3 students from the branch CSE, ECE and EPh.

It's really good, happy to be here , the facilities are really good, the infrastructure is magnificent, the mess food is hygienic , the public places are always clean , the environment is heartwarmingly calm and really good

High level and efficient, I'm studying Metallurgical and Materials Science as my major course , I have interest in software development and data science which are my technical skills and currently the spotlight for me

Supportive Placement and internship cells, the quality of placements are really good around 87 percent get placed considering all the branches, average salary offered was 10.4 lacs considering all the masters and btech,barch

Yeah, it have all the facilities( labs, equipments ) required for the course. They alll are well maintained and we do our practicals regularly. The living space is clean and hygienic. Sports centres are excellent and we maintained. Each hostel has its own fitness centre as well as central fitness centre.

Currently I am in my 2nd year pursuing bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. The quality of education is good here. Our curriculum is regularly updated. The things that we study here helps us in our job.

I don't know much about the placements stats but overall, the placement is good. About 85-90 % are placed in the oncampus placements. Since I am in my 2nd year so, i don't know much about the placements stats.

IIT has always good infrastructure. The college has almost every equipment and facilities required by a student. There are smart classrooms, full wifi campus and a library with thousands of books. And nice sport complex.

I am studying B.tech in bio-technology and choosed this branch according my rank. IIT always make students job ready and develop through his diverse academic. Curriculum changes according to the requirement of future trends.

IIT always give a handsome placement to all those children who focus on the study. 95% of the students was placed and companies like Facebook, Amazon every time gives a massive package. Average package was 10/pa.

My course 1.30 lakhs per year. IIT always give a worth reply after investment in it So I think my value for money to be worth year. Because I got attractive salary offer and my time. And every student will feel his worth year.

Roorkee campus is one of the best campus in India. Natural beauties, cultural event, attractive fest ,are few of specialist that can be seen here. And the teacher are curious and supportive in nature . You will feel great here.

Our college has good benches and infra. Wi-Fi is available in the campus premises. Food is normal in College hostel and rooms are not bad. A big library with almost all required books available for academics.

Faculty are highly qualified in their field with good domain knowledge. All the recent technologies are added every year to maintain the quality of studying. The subjects will not help the student when we join the companies.

Placements are not bad. Non computer branches get less placements compared to computer students. Pretty good placement percentage in our college. The highest package varies every year and varies for every branch.

As a science student are more oriented towards Research this colleges have a proper lab. Amazing infrastructure and everything necessary are present here. For presentation purpose we have white screen and projector in classrooms and wifi system is also there. Laboratory, libraries and sports facilities are up to date. Food and hostel facility are also good.

I was a student of msc chemistry Moreover talking about teacher was too good and they make us understand each and every topic and practical and class are regularly held in college . They are preparing you for higher education like PhD and as well as for job overall professor are very professional they have theory+ practical knowledge both

Yes placement are good in my batch 70℅ got a placement in chemical factory but More student don't prefer placement as a choice higher education like phd as you know carriers are opening after phd soo student choice as a phd

Surely amazing campus life here we are getting. We are looking forward to some changes in sports facilities but still it's good. We engage in music and sports specially and sometimes dance and theatricals too. There are having departmental matches between friendly match and having Activity

My 2 year experience was good i make a lot of connection hear and i got to know more about by subject. As iit have an connection with different company we can say mnc and working as intern in mnc or any chemical lab make me more oriented towards my subject . I add up value in my life my 2 year of experience add up my skills in my life my overall development as increased

I had been a student of btech biotech. The standards are really good and professors are intelligent and kind. They teaches every one in same manner. Yes the education we're going to have is surely make us job ready

The college placement is really good and more than 85% students get placed every year. So, the quality of placement here is really awesome. I have no idea about highest salary offered, 5 LPA is average placement offered though. We receive training for this.

Compared to other college colleges and the academics here is also really good. In my opinion I feel my money is getting worth. The overall fee was 10 lakh of 4 years or btech biotechnology . Fee is little bit higher but studying from iit is also feasible with this much fees

As in India iit have an different leval of educator they are having highly professional professor so for study it was soo good and now talking about placement by name itself it can be define that iit have possess most valuable company and provide near about 80% placement soo my overall experience was good

The college has excellent infrastructure. The laboratories have equipment ranging from the oldest to the latest. LAN speed in-our campus is one of the best in India. Sometimes LAN speed even reaches to a whooping 1 Gbps. On an average speed varies from 300-400 Mbps. The institute central library is one of the best academic libraries of the country. It is fully air conditioned and is open 24/7 during exams. Freshmen get best hostels.The food is hygienic. The quality differ from hostel to hostel.

I am pursuing Production and industrial engineering, presently in B.Tech 2nd year. I have chosen this branch since the course is light and I get a lot of free time for further preparations. All the professors are quite friendly. They often clear out all our doubts and even give some career guidance. The curriculum is often updated. The study never actually makes one job ready...the skills do. The campus provides various facilities and opportunities to develop that.

The placement rate is excellent in IIT Roorkee with a success rate of 60-70%. Even in these unprecedented times, the college managed to successfully conduct placements online. The highest package this year being 1.5 crores per annum and highest domestic package of 45LPA.

We have different fee structure depending on one's caste and economic background. There is even education loan facility provided by sbi, iit Roorkee. Since they are charging high amounts even when we are staying at home, it is a little disappointing. But yes when in campus, due to the facilities we are provided with, I do feel that I am getting my money's worth.

Campus Life is a new world in itself. We have many student groups that brings in exposure and lets us develop our skills. Our allums are supportive and often guide with the jobs and placements. We have 2 magnificent fests conducted every year where students from different colleges visit our campus. Even at these times the campus is extremely safe. During the fest we need to return to our hostels by 12 am but during normal days we have 24/7 access both for boys and girls.

IIT Roorkee has the best infrastructure I have seen ever. You will have all the necessary equipment available there which you will need throughout your research work. The James Thomson building will be one of the best thing you have seen.

I am studying in Mechanical Department ( Production and Industrial Engineering ), currently studying in 2nd year I have a good experience regarding the teaching in my first year. But as the things go online due to pandemic the screen time of nearly 7-8 hours a day goes worst for us.

Comparing to other IITs I will refer IIT Roorkee as the best institute regarding placements, the reason for that is you will get placed and your branch will not be any obstacle in it. I have seen many students of other IITs who struggle for placements because their branches are not CSE, IITR is not between them.

Campus life is awesome! Just come here and you will get a 'Chapo'.

IIT Roorkee is amazing. It does have great infrastructure. Great library to study, hostels with gym, lawns, courts to play. Plus, sports ground is huge, we have courts for basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, squash, etc. Mess food is better. It's not that bad. The place is hygienic and posh.

I am in Product and Industrial engineering branch. My branch have courses of mechanical and management department. Anyone who wants to pursue for management, higher studies, this branch is good. Some Courses are little outdated, but we get to learn from them.

We have decent placements in our college. Highest package was offered to CSE branch, average package is of 22LPA . In my college, we have Placement and Internship Cell which handles this entire process. They help to make this process easy for students.

Campus life is awesome in roorkee, especially in spring season.James Thomason building, ECE tower(at night), are main attraction of campus :)
