IIT Roorkee is amazing. It does have great infrastructure. Great library to study, hostels with gym, lawns, courts to play. Plus, sports ground is huge, we have courts for basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, squash, etc. Mess food is better. It's not that bad. The place is hygienic and posh.

I am in Product and Industrial engineering branch. My branch have courses of mechanical and management department. Anyone who wants to pursue for management, higher studies, this branch is good. Some Courses are little outdated, but we get to learn from them.

We have decent placements in our college. Highest package was offered to CSE branch, average package is of 22LPA . In my college, we have Placement and Internship Cell which handles this entire process. They help to make this process easy for students.

Campus life is awesome in roorkee, especially in spring season.James Thomason building, ECE tower(at night), are main attraction of campus :)

The College campus is very good with a great exposure to different fields like designing, coding , and others. The campus is very clean and the mess food is also very good. Also there are many night and day canteens at campus.

The college has a very good course structure with every course at right sem so that can be a good understanding of the course. The teaching quality is also very good with a much experienced professors

The placement are very good. Companies of various profile like software, finance , along with many core companies appear during placement season. Almost all the students are placed and also many students have opt for reasearch.

The average course fees for every semester approximate 1.3 lakh for general and OBC 30k around for SC/ST. I feel we get our money back as we compare it with the opportunities we get there.

The college life is awesome. You will get every facility at college campus and you have to merely go outside college for any work. We also have utopia, subway and CCD(at a very discounted price).

College is very good. I merely feel any type of problem in college and it is very safe campus. And also it is very near to hill station and you can have a very good experience at these places with your friends.

Beautiful campus with really nicely build spacious buildings. Hostels have gyms, laundry rooms, parlours, badminton courts, canteens ,etc. Classrooms are air conditioned. Sports facilities are also very much available for almost all sports.

Curriculum is a little outdated, but that goes for almost all IITs, good part is you can opt for minors in any dept. However , some professors are extremely difficult to work with and strict. Research work is good too however not that high.

Good and smooth experience.95 percents students get placed. Highest package was around 1.2 cr and went to CSE. Average was around 12 lpa for non circuital branches. And for circuital around 15-17 lpa .

Fees is fine but a little high for a government college however scholarship is available for students from economically weaker backgrounds

The culture is just wow. The students make the campus. Had the best time here , late night hangouts, chat sessions,chapo sessions, library time, movie nights.

There are all type of services and wifi is also available in every hostel rooms the infrastructure in our collage is very attractive, itsold british design which is great for seeing the building IIT roorkee is only iit with having sports such as rafting

The professors over here are well trained and they help every student to achieve big and the teachers here are very friendly to the students. The credit system is one of the best system over here to choose some subjects

Almost 99% of the students gets placed from our collage . The highest salary package offered in computer science in past two years was 1.54 crore per annum as international package ,its 40 LPA in annum

As the name clears the indian institute of technology roorkee is one of the top ranking collages in india ,the teaching faculty are very well trained they are highly qualified . The course curriculum is very good

Campus life over here is one of the best , life is very good with much positive environment there are many technical and cultural clubs here which provides exposure to the students our collage organises two major events thomso wnd cognianze

Our collage is really awesome and one of the best infrastructure , best placement and many scholarship are also available the collage conducts cultural fests and tech fest in which students exhibit the projects they have done .

About 150 years old campus with beautiful greenery. Main building is famous and Lecture halls have great environment with ducting facilities. Good library and departmental resources . Freedom to use any equipment I admire the most.

Great guidance by professors. Teachers are experienced and give full freedom to students to do experiments, professors are interactive and always try to build interest in subject. Regulation of good mentoring also fone regularly.

Overall appreciable placement both core and non core. Really great training and placement cell, campus fund students for higher studies and provide mentors to students to guide them. For metallurgy 15 lakh is median package

Obviously, students who have family income less than 5 lakhs get 2/3 refund in tuition fee

Superb, campus life become great with friends and we get a chance to explore different cultures as students are from all over the world, tourist places nearby campus

IIT Roorkee has a great infrastructure..... It has a lush green campus... James Thomson building is pride of the whole campus and is one of it's kind in nation... it's library is great and the lecture halls and convocation hall are just outstanding.

IIT Roorkee has a great academic structure... it provides branch change for the first yearites only in the first semester therefore not wasting much of their time... and also it has a variety of additional courses one can opt.. even in different branches.

IIT Roorkee also has great placement opportunities... as more than 450 companies visit every year on the campus for recruitments.... MNC's like amazon, microsoft, goldman sachs... visit here on campus for recruitments, giving students much chances to get placed.

Yes college have all the necessary facilities. Internet facility, labs, libraries, all are well maintained. Hostels are well maintained and mess food is also hygienic. Though many don't like the taste of mess food.

Quality of study is ok but curriculum is little outdated and not upto the market requirements. The processes which we are taught are mostly primitive and their current practical applications are not taught in classrooms.

Placements are really good mainly for IT. Core companies that come for production students are less compared to its strength but most students get their placements in IT sector with very high package.

College fees is less than many other colleges and the worth we get out of it is worth paying it.

Campus life is awesome here at iitr. It is having sports complex, swimming pool, big grounds and most beautiful james thomason building.

The infrastructure of the college is best, there are almost all facilities and equipment available. The classrooms are also well equipped with smart boards and cctv. The College have all well maintained facilities like library, gym, sports etc. Its best college in India.

I am M.Sc student from IIT Roorkee and there academics is outstanding and there teachers are well qualified and quality is also best of teaching. The college have all study material for students and teachers are always ready to help students.

The IIT colleges is known for placements and there placements is also best there all big companies like Google , Samsung etc are visits and almost there all students got placed in companies. The average packages is 10-15LPA and there placements training is best and prepare students for placements.

In Indian Institute of Technology (IIT's) there fees is absolutely value for money because the things that you can get here, you cannot get it at anywhere in our Country. Because the IIT is known for there best education system and facilities.

The campus life is best part of your college life and there are many activities and fest held by college for students. The teachers and staff are very supportive and helpful nature. The location of the college is very prime and the campus is 100% safe and handle all emergencies equipments.

The study in IIT college is outstanding and many students have dream to study in IIt's.

The campus is next to Guindy national park. It is in flora and the fauna mostly consists of deers and dogs. Many sporting activities are there. The city is near to campus. The campus has few old buildings but they are equipped with all facilities. New buildings have first class facilities. There are facilities for a lot of research.

Finest in the country. The academics are slightly tough but it's worth it. There is a lot of focus on courses. Attendance is slightly strict. One has to maintain 85%. But the quality is the best one can get.

Best placements. Obviously same as other IITs. A lot offers are made from top companies. 900 -1000 people get placed every year. Jobs are mostly in computer science domain. A lot of core companies do come for placements.

The government gives a lot of subsidies. The fee has been hiked compared to the previous fee. But compared to other private colleges or universities, it is the best.

There are lot of activities to do in the campus. Sports, music, dance, coding, start-ups and a lot. You are literally living in a forest. The cycle ride in the campus is awesome.

Talking about infrastructure its at its best, providing all possible facilities and equipment and coming on to classrooms, libraries, sports centres and hostels its all at its best and all the living spaces are clean and food is hygienic.

The quality of teaching is at its best and the faculties teaching skills are perfect, teachers are friendly but at times they are strict also, talking about curriculum it is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field and studying here makes you future ready.

The quality of placements at our college is good and the percentage of students are selected is also very high and the highest salary offered keep's on fluctuating, the placement process is easy and pleasant for students and the college is supportive and helpful.

the course cost per year is high but its value for money and after studying here feels your money's worth and the knowledge you gain while studying in this college is nothing in front of the money spent on fees.

campus life is equivalent to second home, college has so many activities in which students can engage in and the students, teachers and support staff is very cooperative and helpful, its location is very prime, and it can handle emergencies.

studying here is once in a lifetime opportunity.
