College Infrastructure On our campus, we have Tagore Library which is open from 9 to 8 daily. We also have free wifi facilities ththroughouthe campus. We have sports facilities in Kalam Block where we play indoor games. We have one basketball, one volleyball, and one kho-kho ground inside the campus.

We have highly qualified teachers here on this campus. We also get trained by guest faculty. From to time our university invites industry experts to our campus for our all-around development. We also get free excess to various online courses from the university

We have a good placement record in North India. Many big MNCs like TCS, Infosys, Codequotient, Wipro, and so on. One semester internship is mandatory for each Engineering student on our campus. Overall we have good placement cells on our campus.

College don't have all the necessary infrastructure but it's now upgrading work is going on . In classroom we have a blackboard and a projector and Don't have smart board. There is no wifi in classroom.

I am studying electrical engineering. There is reach in faculty in electrical department. Curriculum is pretty much upgraded but it need to more upgradation. Yes ,the study is job ready . Also there is a scope to improve self in different ways.

Placement is good nearly all the students get placed from here and many students peruse for higher studies also. Average salary offered is 7 lpa . But in cse and ece department it's much more higher average salary offered .

The infrastructure of the college is not upto to mark but it's improving at a good rate. Air conditioners are available in classes, library, and some laboratories. Every class has a projector. The Wi-Fi is available at hostels, and library , They are used and maintained upto a mark. Sometimes the hostel wifi get jammed without reason. The living spaces are clean and the hygiene of the food is not good. It needs a lot of improvement.

The teaching is kinda good,but some teachers are worse . The curriculum is updated and kinda includes the recent developments in the field. There are some 1-2 teachers who read the pdf and tell the teaching is done..., But overall the total teaching is affirmable

The placements from the campus is very good. The last year had a 83.5% placements. This year more than 70% have already been placed in many top companies. The highest pack of the year is 51LPA from Microsoft and around 35 people got placed in Microsoft..Still some placements are yet to be done.. The overall placements are good

There are so many old bulding which are used as hostel and academic building which was buikt in when this college started so there is bneed ti be build new infrastructure. Howevet some progess is there for making new building.

Academic is good and course are time to time updated but the course are not totally job oriented . Some lab eqipments are aldo not working properly it can not replaced for so many years. But there is upgradation is going on this.

Almost all students are getting placed from NIT Durgapur now a days placement percentage is incresing from previos few year. In 2021-2022 83.5 % student are placed and in this session more than 70% students are getting placed till december 2022.

Infrastructure is fine. All necessary building are available such as library, hostels, academic buildings.All hostels have wifi facilities. Laboratories have all necessary equipments. Two grounds lords and oval.

I am studying computer science here. Faculty of computer science department is pretty good. Professors teach in depth of every concept. Curriculum is upto date it covers all the recent developments. .

Good placement opportunities in this college. 95 percentage of students were placed this year. 51 LPA was the highest salary package. In computer science the percentage of placements was highest around 98%

In our campus, there are several buildings used for hostel , auditorium, admistrative building ,acedmic building ,labs, workshops , gym, indore activity,research activity , departmental building , guest house , staff Quarter,and temple ,bank, post office . each things are located perfectly inside campus . there are sports ground in each hostel as well as twop big ground are also there .academic

in academics, there are very environment-friendly and well-skilled professors and scholars. we have our departmental schedule and open elective, minor and we can work under professors on projects. here so many(22) clubs and societies are there for help in core department, industrial visit, research purpose, coding programming, automation engineering , cultural exposure, RJ VJ role, ......

On our campus, everyone has enough potential to be placed but some of them go to for higher studies in departmental subject and mba ,civil services also. in this batch 2022-2023 around 78% final year get placed .

college infrastructure needs to be improve but nearly all the facilities are there but upgradation is needed . College is now focusing on infrastructure a research building is under construction. In all class have black board and a projector and a microphone which is well maintained.

I am studying chemical Engineering. There is reach in faculty in chemical department and have well maintained lab . curriculum is updated many recent course are included in curriculum like python programming language and many more.

Placement is pretty good. As compared to 2020-21 placement year in 2021-22 placement percentage is increased which is 83.5% with having highest package 57lpa offered by Atlassian. A lot more company came in on-campus so it will be easy to get into the company.

In NIT Durgapur have all necessary infrastructure but it needed to be upgrade on this way working is going on, a new research lab is in under construction . All the class have black board and projector and it is well maintained. Living space is well maintained and hygienic.

I am studying mechanical engineering here , mechanical engineering faculty are very reach and have well experienced many faculty is work with ISRO ,DRDO and many governmental organization. Curriculum is updated but not up to job ready for job ready we have to some more hard work but the things also in curriculum but not in depth.

Placement percentage is good in NIT Durgapur in 2022 placement percentage was 83.5% and in 2023 up to December placement percentage is more than 70% . Highest package till December is 51lpa offered by Microsoft.

The cost per year is totally depends on income slab if your income is less than 1 lpa then you have to pay INR 13800 per semester and for mess INR 17000 per semester. Yes I feel getting my money's worth because teacher is supportive and approachable you can contact any teacher they are very helpful.

Our college is spread around 187 acres.There are total 14 halls for both boys and girls,for 1st year students you will be alloted the new hall number 11 where you have to share your room with 2 others.We have a cenrtal library having more than 10 lakhs books including journals,various books for competitive exams ,etc.We have a good medical unit and tied up hospitals in durgapur and kolkata.We have a caferteria and 2 saloons opened at saturday and sunday.We have a gym and unlimited wifi.

The mechanical department of nit durgapur is pretty good.Although our faculty members are very knowledgeable and highly qualified from premium indian colleges.But only few are very friendly and have a good teaching style ,few are very rude ,few have poor teaching skills,and some are just in a hurry to finish the syllabus somehow.Well each semester consists of 3 phases ca1,ca2 and end term .Curriculum is not fully updated compared to foreign top colleges.

The placement of our college is pretty good this year.Until now our 7th semester more than 70% are placed with an average placement of 11.46 LPA CTC and the highest is 46 LPA CTC grabbed by 19 students of cse and ece branches.About 11% of students got more than 20+ LPA CTC ,6% students got 15-20 LPA CTC,15% students got 10-15 LPA CTC. This year onwards we have a new placement policy where you can sit for companies offering 12.5+ LPA CTC or PSU if your department placement % is more than 75.

The fees of nits iits are very high compared to local private colleges in bengal and gov. medical colleges,but if you are able to show an ITR of less than 5 lacs during admission time you can get scholarship of 66% . The total fees in 4 years is 6,38,900 and around 8 lacs at the end including the mess food and extra curricular activities.

There are 20 clubs in our college for example cca robocell,tech ,coding ,edc ,mntc and many quiz riddles clubs too.There is an annual fest every year and also junction and big bazar is near NIT where you can enjoy your evening with your colleagues.We have a basic health care facility very popular among students.No ragging is there so a good social culture among students and you will be watching a lots of diversity in the campus .

I want the college fees of NITS IITS hike to be reduced to make it look as a government reputed institute .I chose this college as it the best college after iit kgp in west bengal.The best thing about my course in this college that this course make me learn time management and gives that exposure to the outside world. I'm sridhar gadi from national Institute of technology durgapit (nitdgp). My clg have all necessary infrastructure and very good faculty with the best equipment but our clg is old one our infrastructure is also old but we have very good faculty members

I'm a mechanical engineering student at national Institute of technology durgapur The quality of teaching in our clg is in my opinion not bad it based on your intrest like how you receive the lecture our curriculum is updated and includes the recent development in the field I think what I study make me ready for job

Placements at our clg is very good for cse and ece students compared to mechanical we also get companies buy compared to those who don't get much salary package will be good the average salary offered to an average student is about 6 lpa

I'm a student with the income certificate which is below one lack and I don't have tution fee I only pay for the exam and hostel feee my frnds are paying fee I think we are getting our money's worth by the experienced faculties

Our campus is around 200 acres we have more staff members in our clg they stay inside the campus only we have grounds for playing and also time to play we have coaches to teach us our campus is safe we can handle in emergencies
