Yes, we have wifi, white boards and projector facilities, living spaces and food are hygenic . Infrastructure is also good . College is nearly at the centre of city and you can go anywhere you want and you have many facilities near . College is peacefull and Greenery

Teaching qulaity is good. I think some courses and some of the teaching methods should be updated for students cause. It must be more interesting for students.Overall our teachers are not bad , They are good in many ways

Placements are fine . I think some more oppurtunities must be there. Overall they are trying as good as possible to get good companies and actually many well known companies were coming . So overall placement situation is okay.

Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure for research and stuff. Classrooms are well equipped. Sports facilities are excellent but a lot of indoor sports stadiums are yet to develop. They are extremely well used. Regular sports activities in the morning and evening makes sports a thriving field here. Hostels are quite well maintained. The Central Library is one of the largest libraries in Asia providing reference to a great variety of books. Wifi is free in hostels and library.

Minerals and Metallurgical Engineering. Quality of teaching is good and research is encouraged. Yes, recently the curriculum was revised to help students reach a more diversified field of study and research.

Placements have been good overall. Highest package was around 45 lakes. The Placement cell does a good job providing the best possible experience to the students and companies for internships and jobs. Being a third year student presently I can provide only this much information.

Course costs 2,40,000 per year for a 4 year Btech Course. Yes, the money is somewhat worth . A student's career depends on the combined factors of his/her own efforts and the college. So, I feel that it is not a very black and white answer whether money is worth it or not. It is a combined process. Definitely provided a student is willing to prosper and work, everything that the college demands and provides is worth.

Campus life is excellent. Recent developments like parks and more food courts are adding to it. IIT(ISM) Dhanbad has an immensely good culture of sports to dramatics to debates to dance to music and whatever co-curriclur activities one can think of. One can find students greatly engaged in these activities during the evening time after the regular classes. The campus is safe and well guarded. The fests provided a ecstatic experience.

Firstly , I will start from my classroom . It consists of 115 students which is a huge number . There is no air conditioner in the classroom which leads to suffocation ,because of which listening classes for 4 hours in the afternoon is difficult some times . The equipment in the lab is good , they are available for every group . Sometimes they show wrong results which is common with every electronic gadget. So, no worries about it. Sports center , library , hostels, food etc are excellent.

I preferred electronics course which later turned to be a bad decision . The teaching staff and other aspects are good but lack of interest in that course made me lazy to understand those concepts . If you are interested in research side there is no better college than ours . Talking about job-ready there is no guarantee . Generally,in schools or colleges everything is being taught to you . But , here most of the learning part depends on the individual interestof student which makes u job ready.

It's very good for some branches but for branches like electronics , mechanical it's very hard to be placed in core . Last year the highest salary was 43 lakhs and it's from electronics branch .but the average package from electronics branch is 75 percent . Students taking up computer science need not to worry about your placement, it's 100 percent for u guys , but if you work hard you can be placed with a decent package.

As my father is a farmer and my family income is less than 1 lakh I need not to pay any money except hostel fees and mess fee which costs around 50k to 55k per annum , same in the case of SC/ST students . For OC/OBC the fees per annum if your annual income is above 5 Lakhs is around 2 to 3 lakh per annum. If the annual income of a oc/obc student is in between 1 to 5 lakh per annum there is a two third reduction in fees. It's worth the money we pay .

It's outstanding ?. Upto class 12 I was a day scholar . It's clear that I should definitely stay in a hostel as dhanbad was 1400 Kms away from my city. I heard that there is a drug culture in the campus . Me and my parents were little bit worried but later when I went to college I came to know that it's a rumour and I was able to adjust to the campus life within a week . Friends here are awe.sports , health centre everything is fine . Location is not that safe but campus environment is awesome.

Overall , it's a decent campus . I would not say its excellent but better than many other iits after top 10 . One can guarantee that when you are leaving this, you will be a complete student with lot of maturity and clarity of thoughts ..so no need to think much before taking admission here.

College infrastructure is appreciable. As rest of IIT's, infrastructure of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is pretty good. Many buildings such as library, gym, etc. are there in college. Hostels, Student Activity centre and other buildings also adds to the beauty of the campus

Academics of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is very good, focusing on ultimate skill building of student. Educators of institute are innovative and they use to teach in a interactive way.............................

Placements are good but not good as compared to other IIT's inspite of high NIRF ranking. Main companies of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad are Amazon, Microsoft, PayTm, ONGC, etc....................................

Fees of this college is acceptable. However if any student is from poor background, certain scholarship programmes are there in college which are easy to avail for any student. Student can get scholarship on the basis of their background in which they belong, their academics and their extra-curricular activities.

College Life of IIT ISM Dhanbad is awesome. Student coming to campus enters a new phase of his life. Different cultural, sports and tech clubs are here which leads to take students' hidden talent out and students something which they could not get without this environment.

It's not as good as "IITB" but good enough. Mess food sucks tho :). All necessities like health centre, playgrounds, library, canteens, hostels are within campus only. Everything other than boys hostels is well maintained ;).

I won't comment on the quality of teaching as I usually don't attend classes, but if u see it as academics pov, the course structure is very well built, includes almost all fundamentals and advanced courses related to the discipline.

Well, placements are never absolute, but I'd say they well in core branches. Branches like petroleum, civil, environmental faces a lot of difficulties tho. Other than that, placements are nothing to worry about. I'm not saying everyone gets placed... but it's not difficult... not even half the effort you make for entrance exams.

Infrastructure is nice and campus is also very beautiful. Hostel room are bit compact and mess food is same as in every other hostel. library is one of the best feature of our campus, it's India's biggest tech Library with all the necessary facilities.

Quality of teaching is nice and course curriculum is also regularly updated to adapt the newest industry standards. Specially petroleum department is very focused on teaching any new technology required in the industry

There are a lot of companies open for campus placements and the number of companies are increasing every year. Still getting placement in core branches is relatively tougher than in finance or programming field

College fee per year is around 3lac and I think it's little too much even for all the infrastructure and academics.

Yeah , good facilities in classrooms , sports centres and laboratories although libraries facilities is best but the facilities in hostels is below average, yeah living spaces are clean but the food is not hygienic...

B.Tech in Mining Engineering, because I got that type rank in jee, not good, actually I am in 1st year so i have no much knowledge about my field, IIT dhanbad is known for mining engineering and mining branch had an excellent alumni base so I think my study in ISM makes job - ready

Placements at earth science branch is excellent, This year CSE and ECE students also got excellent placement,i don't know about the percentage of student placed this year , till april 2020 highest package was 43 lakh , CSE,I think in ISM all the mining branch student got placement

The infrastructure of the college is great . The campus is clean and green. There are proper sports centres for each sport. In hostels free WiFi and LAN facility is available. The hostels are clean and the food quality is average.

Right now i am in first year. The branch wise classes run from second year. The quality of teaching is good. Yes the curriculum is updated . In first year only a few things taught will be useful in my further study .

The quality of placements is great. 75-80% of students were placed on campus . The highest salary package was of 43 lac CTC .21 students of cse ,ece and electrical branch got this package. Average salary offered was 8 lac per annum.

Our course cost around 2 lac per year . Yes the money's worth can be seen at some fields. Like in sports and cultural activities . The cultural and sporta fests conducted reflects the money's worth for sure.

The college campus is great . The environment in the campus is clean and green as already stated . Along with sports there are other cultural activities and tech clubs which are helpful for skills development. Students ,Teachers ,support staff are helpful . The college is located at almost center of dhanbad and it is safe . Yes the emergency situations can be handled .

Library and lab facilities are excellent. Classroom facilities is not that good means some class rooms are not well vantilaed. Cleaniness and hygiene is up to the mark. The internet facility is pretty good.

In my veiw our acedmics is very well structured means the whole course is very well divided so that students feel less burdend. In term of teaching some professor's are very helpful and give attention to the whole class but some professor's only pay attention on completing the course and not on weather student understand or not their teaching. And what we are studying is appropriate in term of job prospective.

In term of placement our have a great growth every year. Highest salary offered in 2019 placement session is 43 LPA and it goes to the computer science branch. Average salary offered is 14 LPA and minimum salary offered is around 9 LPA. And In my view all the college faculty is very supportive in placement process. Being a first year student, all the seniors are also supportive .

The fee structure is well planned and in accordance with every type of student's. For general student's institute fee is Rs 122300 and hostel fee is Rs 19170. Full fee waiver for sc,st,ph student. Full remission of tution fee for general and obc student's whose family income is less than 1LPA and 2/3 wavier for student's uaving family income between 1-5 LPA.

Campus is well maintained and its location is perfect so that student's do not need to spend to much time in going anywhere. Railway station is very close to campus. Campus includes all the basic need shops.

Overall my college is a perfect college and it helps a student to grow in all aspects of life .

The infrastructure is awesome the Heritage is well maintained and its awesome the academis building is very coool and the diamond hostel and penmam and main canteen are the best example of old culture

Academics is coool the practical session are outstanding and the prof are awesome and helpful u will get indivisual care from the jrf and the also you can enjoy the machine shop here u will get every possible facility in the collge

The placement senario of our college is awesome too only on day 0 about 43 students get placed in Microsoft thats only for microsoft many more companies come in this campus and also the placement of petro and minning are awesome

Since its a govt college so the value for money is there the food quality in hostel is good and also the rate of food at canteens and shop are reasonable and u will get new equipment to use in the practical session so there is value for money

The campus life is the most amazing thing here our library is the 2nd largest lib in Aisa and also the greenry of the campus is awesome the vibes you get there is amazing and also the ism culture is ❣ seniors here are also very helpful ✌?

I want to conclude that this college is the best combination of everything u will get the iitian tag and also u will enjoy the college life the life of college is relatable to chicchore movie and the fest in our college are awesome
