State of the art facilities with the very high-speed internet, labs with the best equipment, fully furnished lecture halls, fully equipped sports facilities for all sports. The quality of food in mess and canteen is decent. Hostel rooms in certain halls are amazing, with the new halls having single and double rooms there is a health facility

Some of the professors are the best in the world, like H.C. Verma and M.K. Harbola on the teaching department. The teaching methods vary from board teaching to PPTs or other visual aids at the discretion of the professors. The course curriculum is well set and is revised every few years very excellent

About 70% of the placement was recorded in 2016. The average salary was about 10-11 lakhs per annum. However, average in CSE was about 18 lakhs per annum, and in EEE was 16 lakhs per annum. The companies visiting the campus include Microsoft, Dr.Reddy's, Schlumberger etc some company came for internship

IIT Kanpur provided top-notch facilities to students. There are 24 hours of Wi-Fi facility with great speed for students. The quality of labs and classrooms were also very excellent. The institute makes sure that students faced no problem in their hostel rooms with high quality safety

Faculty members of IIT Kanpur were acknowledged throughout the world. Most of the professors worked on world-class projects and participated in various conferences, lectures etc. However, there is no industry exposure to students. The institute focused mainly on theoretical knowledge and provide high quality education

Placements exceeded the expectations of the students. Around 300 students got placed on day 1, which saw the participation of over 38 companies. Placements in our college were better than the last year. Studies from 5-year programme (B.Tech +M.Tech) were preferred over B.Tech students.

Unlimited Wi-Fi facility is provided here, and it is available with an average speed of 16-35 Mbps at any place for mobile phones. The speed of the LAN cable is 5 Gbps. In our college, classrooms are huge to accomodate more than 600 students and have all the facilities. The library consists of more than 3 lacs of books, and it is open round the clock during exams. Labs are excellent than other colleges, and NCL, Western labs, Southern labs are opened throughout the course. You can do any experiment there by taking permission only from staff members.

Faculty members in our college are always helpful as they inspire students to study always. But all students study 2-4 days before the exams, which is common in all colleges. After the classes, there are tutorials. TA is assigned to every student, and you can share your problems with them at any time they clarify doubts very patiently

The first semester of the course is much related to JEE level. But some courses are in-depth like MTH101A, PHY103A in which every student cram throughout the semester. All other courses are the same for all first-year students in all IITs. Internships provided are very good at IITK as every student who tries for internships get them in some good firms and companies. The infrastructure of our college is excellent. The academic area, labs, hostels, all sports ground, all students activities centre, student gymkhana are provided. All cultural, SnT clubs, hobby group and many SnT teams are also there, and there is no problem with Wi-Fi facility 24/7 . All halls have a canteen, and food quality is excellent

Almost all the professors are good. They are helpful in courses and also a personal problem, and they are doing work hard for students. Professors teaching skills and understanding are good. Some courses curriculum is relevant, and they are too much good.

In the civil branch, students are not getting good placements and also they also not offer the highest salary. Few students got an internship in the core. so this condition is so poor. So many students are not interested in civil because they think there is nothing. And many students from civil going for civil services in top mncs

Some of the facilities that the institute provides are free Wi-Fi, digital high air conditioned class room, huge library, labs for hands on experiences. All kind of sports and games are available for the campus community like swimming, foot ball tennis basketball, TT, squash, etc.

All the facilities are highly qualified and very knowledgeable professional and teaches well too. Yes, course are relevant to those who want to be in core profile. It helps learning students about the things that can help them in their future works. It gives an insight for industry works with high quality education

In past about 90% UG placed in mechanical department. Students can seat for either core or non core profiles. Average package offered may be around 9-20 Lacs per annum. Hindustan Unilever limited, Tata motors, Goldman sachs, Bosch, HSBC-global.

We have exceptional Wi-Fi with a high-speed of about 100 mb/s and having no limit on use. Works 24/7. Classes are also high-tech. Every class is fully AC and has a projector. IIT Kanpur library has a collection of more than 4,00,000 volumes and subscriptions to more than periodicals. It opens till 12pm-midnight. Labs at IIT Kanpur has every facility a researcher look for We have a computer center which is open for all.opens every time

Professors are exceptionally qualified here. They know their domain very much. Professors have their ongoing projects and some of the professor developed so many thing to be used in daily life. Course curriculum is very much relevant and professor are talented and it also changes according to the industry demand. Student here are taught and trained so well to be industry compatible.

In Material Science and Engineering most of the student got placed last year with an average package of 12-18 Lacs. Top Recruiting companies include Goldman Sachs, Axis Bank, Accenture, American Express, many more. Some of the students also got PPO offers from GS, ITC,it non it. Branch is so flexible. You could go for other profiles too. Some people also got placed in Analytics, Finance and other things too.

This campus is spread over 2,000 acres and is lush green. High-quality education and world-class infrastructure are provided with all modern facilities. There are sports facilities like many basketball courts and tennis. Our college also has an open-air theatre, airstrip, air tunnel and many others with good fee structure

The course is good and very useful and helpful. Faculty members are also helpful. They are very knowledgeable and professional and are from reputed universities from outside India. Many lab sessions are conducted which provide lots of exposure and also make students feel comfortable. There is a excellent coding culture. There is a relative grading system.

Top companies like Rolls-Royce, Jaguar,tcs etc., visit here for placements. There are enough and excellent options and better salary packages. You will have a nice chance to go abroad. Many companies put a minimum CPI criterion followed by tests, and good internships are also provided.

There are a total of 23 halls on our campus. Hall 10 and 13 are the most recent halls, which are constructed just 2-3 years back. 2 new halls, i.e., Hall 16 and 17 are under construction now. Food quality is mainly managed by the students and quality was excellent. For sports and games, each hall has a separate sports ground and equipment.

The teachers are highly professional, and the scope of research in your field of interest is very excellent For completion of degree, a student has to take around 490-510 credits in their entire 4 years. There are also a few compulsory courses, which you have to select from other departments' curriculum.

More than 390 companies, ranging from Google, Microsoft, BCG, McKinsey, ITC to foreign companies like Rubrick, visited our campus last year, out of which around 300 companies were software companies. Around 100 companies were for data science, and the rest were for consultancy and FMCG top mncs like Accenture

National wind tunnel facility, a few planes, airstrip, high-speed and low-speed aerodynamics lab, structures lab, computational lab, etc. are available. Food is excellent in the mess and cheap. Food outlets are open 24x7 on-campus. Wi-Fi is available at 700 Mbps. Hostels are clean. Laundry and dhobi facilities are available in the hostel

The professors here are very knowledgeable and talented. They have done their masters and PhD from reputed foreign universities. The teaching quality of most of the professors outstanding . The academics at IIT Kanpur are a hardly tough. However, if students attend classes regularly, they can easily maintain a good CGPA.

Most of the students who attend placements from the electrical engineering branch get placed, while the remaining students aim to opt for either graduation schools, startups or other competitive exams like UPSC, civils etc. The highest salary package offered is 89 LPA (domestic), while the average salary package offered is around 25 LPA-27 LPA. During internship and placement season, students from CSE, EE and MTH get preference over other students. Software development engineering (SDE) and finance and quant (high-frequency trading) were the top roles offered here.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The lecture halls are big and spacious, with large screens for the professors to use to teach. The library is the go-to place to study before major exams and quizzes and is well-equipped with all the resources. Hostels are decent except for plumbing issues in some areas. Sports facilities are also provided inside the residential halls.good infrastructure

Teachers are highly qualified and very enthusiastic to help. Teaching is only good beneficial if students put in their hours outside of class to study, as academics are a bit rigorous. The course curriculum is highly relevant and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite hectic and depend on the nature of the specific course.

More than 90% of the students sitting for placements get placed in Phase I and it increases to 97–99% till the last phase. The highest package offered for placement season 2023-2024 was 1.37 crores and the average is 26.27 LPA. In my course, people target different roles such as SDE (software development engineer), investment banking, and core job roles. About 80% of people from my course got internships at companies such as Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Amazon, and Google. Good mncs
