Yeah , good facilities in classrooms , sports centres and laboratories although libraries facilities is best but the facilities in hostels is below average, yeah living spaces are clean but the food is not hygienic...

B.Tech in Mining Engineering, because I got that type rank in jee, not good, actually I am in 1st year so i have no much knowledge about my field, IIT dhanbad is known for mining engineering and mining branch had an excellent alumni base so I think my study in ISM makes job - ready

Placements at earth science branch is excellent, This year CSE and ECE students also got excellent placement,i don't know about the percentage of student placed this year , till april 2020 highest package was 43 lakh , CSE,I think in ISM all the mining branch student got placement

College campus is nice,best thing about the campus is evergreen

The infrastructure of the college is great . The campus is clean and green. There are proper sports centres for each sport. In hostels free WiFi and LAN facility is available. The hostels are clean and the food quality is average.

Right now i am in first year. The branch wise classes run from second year. The quality of teaching is good. Yes the curriculum is updated . In first year only a few things taught will be useful in my further study .

The quality of placements is great. 75-80% of students were placed on campus . The highest salary package was of 43 lac CTC .21 students of cse ,ece and electrical branch got this package. Average salary offered was 8 lac per annum.

Our course cost around 2 lac per year . Yes the money's worth can be seen at some fields. Like in sports and cultural activities . The cultural and sporta fests conducted reflects the money's worth for sure.

The college campus is great . The environment in the campus is clean and green as already stated . Along with sports there are other cultural activities and tech clubs which are helpful for skills development. Students ,Teachers ,support staff are helpful . The college is located at almost center of dhanbad and it is safe . Yes the emergency situations can be handled .

Library and lab facilities are excellent. Classroom facilities is not that good means some class rooms are not well vantilaed. Cleaniness and hygiene is up to the mark. The internet facility is pretty good.

In my veiw our acedmics is very well structured means the whole course is very well divided so that students feel less burdend. In term of teaching some professor's are very helpful and give attention to the whole class but some professor's only pay attention on completing the course and not on weather student understand or not their teaching. And what we are studying is appropriate in term of job prospective.

In term of placement our have a great growth every year. Highest salary offered in 2019 placement session is 43 LPA and it goes to the computer science branch. Average salary offered is 14 LPA and minimum salary offered is around 9 LPA. And In my view all the college faculty is very supportive in placement process. Being a first year student, all the seniors are also supportive .

The fee structure is well planned and in accordance with every type of student's. For general student's institute fee is Rs 122300 and hostel fee is Rs 19170. Full fee waiver for sc,st,ph student. Full remission of tution fee for general and obc student's whose family income is less than 1LPA and 2/3 wavier for student's uaving family income between 1-5 LPA.

Campus is well maintained and its location is perfect so that student's do not need to spend to much time in going anywhere. Railway station is very close to campus. Campus includes all the basic need shops.

Overall my college is a perfect college and it helps a student to grow in all aspects of life .

The infrastructure is awesome the Heritage is well maintained and its awesome the academis building is very coool and the diamond hostel and penmam and main canteen are the best example of old culture

Academics is coool the practical session are outstanding and the prof are awesome and helpful u will get indivisual care from the jrf and the also you can enjoy the machine shop here u will get every possible facility in the collge

The placement senario of our college is awesome too only on day 0 about 43 students get placed in Microsoft thats only for microsoft many more companies come in this campus and also the placement of petro and minning are awesome

Since its a govt college so the value for money is there the food quality in hostel is good and also the rate of food at canteens and shop are reasonable and u will get new equipment to use in the practical session so there is value for money

The campus life is the most amazing thing here our library is the 2nd largest lib in Aisa and also the greenry of the campus is awesome the vibes you get there is amazing and also the ism culture is ❣ seniors here are also very helpful ✌?

I want to conclude that this college is the best combination of everything u will get the iitian tag and also u will enjoy the college life the life of college is relatable to chicchore movie and the fest in our college are awesome

ISM's infrastructure is very good. All the departments have their own buildings and laboratories. In sports, there are two grounds one each for football and cricket and are equipped with lights. There is a Olympic size pool, indoor badminton courts, squash, TT table as well as two gyms in SAC(sports activity centre). The new library is one of the largest in the country. The college also has a health centre, post office, ATMs etc.

Faculty is well qualified and have good industrial connections too. The mining engineering department is one of the Asia's best. But only few of them teaches brilliantly. The cirriculum is undergoing amendments with AI and ML being added as the compulsory first year courses. But inspite of all this you need to work on your own with the help of your friends to become job ready and build your personality. The prepondace of extra curricular activities will help you.

The placements over the past few years are on the surge. In the year of 2019, almost 75 percent of the B.Tech students were placed. The highest CTC was around 40 LPA offered to a CSE student. The average stood CTC stood 15 LPA.The college improves your soft skills through various seminars and classes but how you develop yourselves in these 4 years matters more.

IIT-ISM is worth every penny as it gives you an unforgettable campus life and a scope to boost your personality. My course costed about 2.5 LPA after the tution fee was hiked to 1lakh per semester. But, if you fulfill some income criteria you get the scholarships easily.

The best thing about ISM is its campus. With his 365 acres of area it lies at the middle of dhanbad. The campus has canteens, subway, amul canteens and hostel canteens too which are open till 3 am. There is a large auditorium and an OAT. Being a football fan and able to play with friends at night under the lights was one of my favourite memories.

It has a very good environment. Largest library of India is situated here. Living spaces are quite small with each room has sharing of 2 students. Large and spacious campus. Busy life. Greenery is appreciated.

Quality of teaching is good. Very strict discipline. Punctual teachers as well as classes are held exactly on time. Proper availability of laboratories. Wide variety of engineering branches. Full of students.

Placements are improving year by year. Sunce 2016 placements in the core and non core branches have improved drastically. Best among Mining and Petroleum branches. Will definitely improve in the coming years.

All IITs are having approximately same fee structure. It is aold college but has a new IIT tag. So value for money will improve in the coming years. For engineering fees of the college is quite normal.

Has too many co curricular activities. Various clubs are available with all kind of sports are available in the college. Gymnasium, boxing, swimming pool and all other activities are offered in the college.

According to me, my choice to come to this college is up to my expectation.

Classes are good. Old hostels need a little improvement. Campus has a lot of food stalls. Classes have digital boards. Good auditorium as well. Ample space for sports of all kinds and a good student activity center.

Studying Marketing. The quality of teaching is good. A lot of case based learning takes place. There are guest lectures by visiting faculties as well. No field trips though. And the course syllabus can be updated a little.

Placements are decent for MBA (this does not include B.Tech and other courses). You might not get very high packages, but it's okay, mostly in the range of 5-6 lpa and only a few will go upto 8 or 9 lpa.

One of the best thing is this aspect. Compared to other colleges of it's league, this costs the least. Fee for general is 75000 per semester and an additional of 15000 for mess and hostel. It is very less.

Campus Life is good. You have to be inside the college by 10PM though, you can roam around in the campus till midnight. Cafeterias remain open till midnight as well. Students can enroll into different clubs for activities.

My experience was okay.

We have all the buildings for our all departments such as cse, mechanical etc. We have sports ground for all the sports such as tennis court football ground etc. For cultural we have separate halls where all the students can accommodate.

Academics are better but it is difficult for those students who are Hindi medium since all the lectures and tutorials are in English and our faculties deliver lecture in only . But overall they are good and knowledgefull person.

We have good placement facilities for us since our college stands in India's best institute so all the companies recruitment are possible . We have good internship facilities for 3 year students too .

This is good in our college since we spent our money but get valuable knowledge by experienced faculty members and our PhD scholars also spent more time in research from them also we get practical experience so over our money spent is valuable.

This is outstanding in our college since collegelife is good with sports ,dance ,drama and we have all the facilities in our college . Star is also arranged by college students on all the college fest so that we can enjoy as well as gain knowledge

I will prefer my college since all IIts and NIT's have awesome campus life and secured future

ISM has an antique infrastructure with the older style of offices, and facilities are well equipped by the admin. It has individual buildings for Admin Block, Lecture Hall Complex, SAC & separate hostels for boys and girls. Our college has a good connection of Wifi in the Central Library and it's considered to be 2nd largest library in Asia, but I'm not complacent with this one because of non availability of many books, quality of books

I'm studying BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering; I selected this branch because of my interest in microprocessors though that topic didn't start yet. Some of the professors are much knowledgable and published many research papers in various journals.

When you dive into discussion of placements in ISM, it has grown much in past 3 years, in CSE and ECE it has more than 90%, where my branch till Day 6, 92 out of 104( Batch of 2020 ) placed. I don't remember the package exactly, but it was around 45-50 lakhs CTC by M/s Microsoft. Since I'm now in graduation 2nd year, I would be taking part in placement after two years.

My course consists of 8 semesters, here tuition fees are 1 lakh per semester excluding mess fees of 15,000

College campus is quite good, with luscious green plants, and is well maintained, but has much lower sized grounds. Now college has lower sized grounds. Now college is organizing competitions like SPIC MACAY, INTER HOUSE to engage students in large numbers . Staff is much supportive to students when you seek help or suggestion from them.

The college has really good infrastructure. The campus area is quite large, it is around 400 acres. The laboratories have advanced equipment and the classrooms are well designed. The hostels are also really nice and most hostels serve decent mess food.

The academics of the college is also really outstanding as is to be expected since it is an institute of national importance. the professors of the college are really knowledgeable and most are doing valuable research work for the nation. The syllabus taught is inline with the industry demands. Overall, you will have a great learning experience here.

The college provides good placements. The best placements from the college is most definitely bagged by the students of mining branch and cse branch. Almost all the students end up getting placed in really good companies with nice packages. You also get opportunities to do internships in great companies which really helps in getting good jobs. Some of the best recruiters for CSE branch are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, google, Amdocs and other industry giants.

The college does provide really great value for money and it has a very good ROI. Though the semester fee might seem a bit high to some students, but there are a lot of scholarship opportunities. But honestly if you compare the quality of education and facilities that this college will provide you the fee seems very nominal and it is almost a guarantee that you will be laced with a really high package.

The campus life is phenomenal, there are a multitude if clubs that you can be a part of, numerous technical, cultural and sports events are organised round the year. I am a sports man and it was really important for me that I am given good exposure and coaching in my field and the college provided me with just that. The staffs, faculties and seniors are all really helpful and always available to provide guidance.

You should really not think much before joining this college as you will be in for a great experience in this college and you will get to experience the much coveted IIT culture here. The college will surely provide you all round development and carve out a great future for you.
