IIT Tirupati Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

IIT Tirupati is 3rd gen IIT which is progress with the construction of the campus at a higher speed. By 2022 a campus to accommodate 12000 students will be ready. Currently IIT Tirupati is function from it's transit campus that was built near the permanent campus site. The transit campus has all the facilities that included digital classrooms, hostels for all students, sports facilities, central library, labs of mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical and computers

The college has a good student to faculty ratio, it also has a very well experienced faculty in all the departments that are offered by the institute. The faculty will be guiding in the aspects in which you need help.

Last year that is in 2019 ,the first outgoing had a highest package of 23lpa and an average of 10lpa with 43 companies that include amazon, TCS, Infosys, L&t ,Bosh , Flipkart, Intel, QUALCOMM , Renault ,etc has come for placements

You will enjoy the campus life with lot of opportunities in sports, cultural and in technical as well. The campus has good sports facilities that include cricket ground, football ground ,basketball , badminton and volley ball courts and tennis court along with wall practice.

Overall you will enjoy your 4 years B-Tech life in IIT Tirupati.

The facilities provided are good . The infrastructure of our college is well maintained and well furnished. Everything is well organized . Classrooms and library have a pretty good environment . Proper maintenance is done labs are being renovated. The food is very hygenic.

Teaching quality in the college is mind-blowing. Academics are good .our professor's work hard to us keep us updated . The curriculum is very latest and includes all the recent developments in the field. The notes are very well organised.

Placements are just okay . The average salary offering is 5-7 lakhs per annum . Well according to me the placements or a good placement totally depends on skills of students . The placement records need to be improved much.

It has good infrastructure along with facilities like indoor stadium,wifi etc. The living spaces are clean and hygienic with lot of small small plants around it. At last our college good and one can enjoy a lot

College is very good at Academics.There are a lot of highly qualified professers in each of the branch.Some are also from IIT Madras. Our curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments but I am not sure whether one can get direct job

As our college is recently established, placements are not so good but in future there might be a great advantage for students. By considering the regards of our the salary package of the out going to batch is decent

Within short span of 5 years, our college has developed adequate infrastructure and they are also constructing new hostels which are well equipped. Since our institution has started its academic programs in 2015, at first students faced problems but now we have class room complex in our campus. Apart from facilities,IIT Tirupati is also improving a lot in research field in terms of equipment. We have sports complex in our campus which is only dedicated to sports,Library has wider range of books.

I'm pursuing MS by research in Electrical Engineering department .Since i'm interested in doing PhD in semiconductor devices,I'm working on the above mentioned field. My course work covers my research field up to an extent and faculty are making efforts to introduce plenty of courses in our field by increasing intake of faculty who are well capable of handling courses and research simultaneously.

Since I'm not interested in placements, i dont have any concern about it.I heard from B.Tech students that they are placed in core companies in their respective branches and coming to placements for research scholars we are also having good oppurtunities through placements.

Being MS student, i get stipend every month and we pay fee semester wise which i pay with my stipend only .I would like to say it is worthy doing MS even if i dont get stipend because faculty and professors are creating a nice platform with their lectures and experience and now i'm gaining knowledge with reasoning which i didn't get while doing bachelors.

We have healthy atmosphere for research as we discuss with other research scholars in other departments which sometimes give ideas to improve my research work and even sometimes solve our research problems.Definitely a research scholer requires guide to solve their problems and we get good support by our guides which boost our research work.Campus location is somewhat less exposed to city so we sometimes face problems in terms of daily needs.We have healthcare centre which is well equipped.
