IIT Jammu courses are provided at three levels which include UG, PG and doctoral levels. IIT Jammu courses are available in various fields which include Engineering and Architecture, Sciences, Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences streams. The IIT Jammu courses include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), M.Sc, Master of Technology (M.Tech.), and Ph.D. IIT Jammu courses are offered in regular mode. IIT Jammu B.Tech course includes seven specialisations in computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics and computing, electrical engineering, civil engineering, materials engineering and chemicals engineering. The candidates seeking admission to the desired IIT Jammu course must meet the IIT Jammu eligibility criteria. IIT Jammu courses duration ranges from 2-6 years. The IIT Jammu fee structure varies for each course at each level.

Candidates seeking admission in undergraduate or postgraduate courses of IIT Jammu should take the entrance exam accepted by the institute for the particular course and fall under the eligibility criteria of the institute. IIT Jammu fees is different for different levels of courses.

College Infrastructure
Our campus is at such a place named as heaven also. Jammu is such a beautiful place and so is our campus. We have got best hostel facilities here. Laboratories are excellent here and Central library is also available here for us. Our college provides almost everything that any student will ever need. Classrooms are excellent and living spaces are very clean.
Everything is good at IIT JAMMU.

College Infrastructure
Excellent infrastructure is available at IIT JAMMU. We have constant Wi-Fi access, and there is also a library. The in the mess and canteen is of good quality. Medical facilities are also available. There are places to play football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, and other sports. There well equipped Gym.

*****Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore was established in 1909 in 435 acres and Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu was established in 2016 in 400 acres. Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is a very old and very much famous among Top Institutes in India.
*****Total Course fees of M.Tech Material Engineering in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is Rs. 28,400 and total course fees of M.Tech Thermal & Energy System course in Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu is Rs. 1,21,000. Total course fees is less in IISc. Bangalore than compared to IIT Jammu for studying M.Tech course.

what to choose between IIT Jammu and vs IGDTUW in terms of placement and opportunity??
Hello candidate,
It mostly depends on which branch you are getting in both the colleges. If you are getting computer science in igdtuw, then you should go for it anyday. Its in delhi, so the tech placements are pretty nice as it is in delhi and then location factors comes into the picture. But if you want a tag of an iitian and you think you can do well and will do hardwork even being in a lower branch in iit jammu then you can go for it. However do the location of iit jammu, most students dont prefer to go there. Dont think much, wherever you will go, you will do great!!

choosing a college is a quite difficult decision ,It solely depends upon you both are great colleges you will get great opportunities IN ANY COURSE WHICH U PICK iits to have their alumni all over the world coming together talking about placements since we are talking about iits so you will get an almost similar opportunity
it all comes down to your passion and the amount of hard work where you are going to put your next 4 years into
IIT won't be a cakewalk but it will help you to grow in all walks of life which automatically will give a head start to your career.
