IIT kanpur has the best infrastructure. The first thing is that it is an institute to national importance and the second thing it has a big budget. It has all the facilities like sports complex, gym,library, modern classrooms.

The acadeemics at IIT Kanpur ranks at first even among all the IITs. The college has a very strong academic foundation and has a major focus on academics. The teachers are very knowledgeable of their field and help the students in a friendly manner.

Placements at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is just phenomenal. The average package here is around 20 lakhs per annum. Almost everyone who registers for placement drive, secures a placement from the college.

The hostel infrastructure at IITK is well organized and of high quality. In the first year, students have double-sharing rooms. Rooms are furnished with two beds, a table, and two chairs, providing a decent-sized living space. Hygienic and high-quality food is provided at the hostel mess. The campus offers sports facilities for various sports, and a health center provides free medical facilities.

About 90% of UG students in my course were placed. The average package was 32LPA, with a median of 28LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Qualcomm, Amazon, Google, and Goldman Sachs. Students in my course secured internships in companies such as Optiver, Adobe, Samsung, and Barclays.

A masters program at IITK will have a good balance of courses and research work. And IITK has awesome, world class infrastructure for both teaching and research. The research facilities and available equipment make it an ideal place to conduct research in any stream of engineering.

It should be obvious that the academics at IITK is comparable to other top universities in the world. The verbatim is that, "IITK ke academics karne ke baad USA me bhi courses easy lagenge". So, be assured that you would be a well rounded, well educated person upon graduating from here.

The overall placement rate is very good. It would stand higher than 90%. But there is a disparity in the number of core engineering jobs available and the number of students applying for it. So there is a chance that some one may need to switch their career goals while preparing for the placements. But rest assured that whichever path you choose there will be seniors to guide you.

IIT Kanpur, being a top tier university in India, and among other universities worldwide, has outstanding academics environment. The teacher to student ratio is at par with the top colleges in the world. The quality of education is very high. The curriculum gets updated every decade for appropriate needs of the industry and academia.

IITK is literally the GOD of placements. It has very high rate of placements. Now truth be told, there are less core sector jobs, but, the abundance of non-core and IT jobs cover for it. So, one may need to switch to a profession other than their degree but they will get placed. This is the situation in all the IITs, not just IITK. the placement office tries their best to smoothen this process for the students.

An 8 semester course will cost close to 10 lakhs over 4 years. But, needy students can always secure fee waivers or scholarships. Infact, 95% of my fee was waived! The college is very supportive in that regard. And the return of investment id of course high.

The campus life and living environment at IITK was so beautiful, so elegant, it was just wow. The professors are chill outside of classrooms (not the same inside classrooms!), the seniors are friendly and supportive everywhere. But sometimes the office staff can make you run for your money! But overall it gives so much exposure, freedom that I cherish every moment being there.

I am studying Economics Sciences because at the time of counselling i reached out to many seniors for the suggestion and they told me that this branch is more practical and interesting and exactly it is in IIT Kanpur which i had experience till now . Curriculum is totally placement and practical use oriented and it make sure shot job ready to an individual.

The placements Scenario at IIT Kanpur has historically been promising, underscoring strong prospects for students. However , the recents economic downturn caused by covid -19 pandemic has inevitably impacted placements over the past two years.

My cost is around 2.5-2.75 lakh per annum including staying in hostel it often goes upto 3l akh. Yes, I feel IIT Kanpur is 4th best Engineering College in India so in a long run it will definetly worth it and value for money.

Campus life is just amazing at IIT Kanpur. Students can involve in various clubs and societies according to their interest. Staff is very supportive here . Here is one body named as Counselling Service which takes overall care of students.

Our college is one of the most prestigious college of India which implies that it has the best infrastructure one can ever imagine. All the classrooms are well air conditioned and we'll furnished with the best quality of seats,projectors and boards.

I am currently studying mechanical engineering. I was always fascinated with the cars around and how they work,how the engine works what are the mechanism of different components of cars as well as how the other mechanical instruments that we see around works.

Currently due to recession the placement is not as good as it was usually in my college but still it has managed to get the nearly same placement rate as usual. As compared to other colleges right now, our college is far better in terms of the placement as well as the package.

Per semester I pay 1 lakh rupees and that's worth it, as the teaching faculty which you get here is the best faculty of our country.

Being a top IIT, infrastructure is excellent at IIT Kanpur. It's an over 1000 acres clean and green campus. Classrooms have all the necessary features for a holistic learning. The library is a huge building with thousands of books and good seating arrangement. Sports facilities are great as well with many indoor and outdoor facilities functioning in the campus.

Teachers are all PhDs from the top institutions of the country. A holistic learning environment is ensured by incorporating exams, assignments and presentations in the overall marking scheme. Curriculum is updated from time to time.

The Summer internship placement process is ongoing with a mix of established companies and startups visiting the campus. Around 25% of the batch has been placed, and more students will be placed in the coming days. The highest package offered was 1.7 lakh rupees for the 2 months of internship.

The course fee is around 4 lakh rupees for two years including hostel fees, which is way less than most B schools in the country. The ROI is one of the best for the MBA program at IIT Kanpur since the average placement figure was over 18 Lakh rupees last year.

Quality of placement is average soo far. Not many prominent recruiters have visited the campus for recruitment. Also the placement for DoMS MBA is completed separate from the main IIT placement cell..

The infrastructure of the college is as good as it gets. The campus has high speed internet coverage via WiFi. The campus has large classrooms with all modern teaching aids. There are decent hostels and you will find a variety of indoor and outdoor sports activities to take part in.

The teachers here are really good. They are strict but at the same time they are always there to guide the students through whatever doubts they have. They encourage the students to take part in extra curricular activities.

The placement of the Department of Management Sciences (DoMS) is fairly good and is comparable to the second generation of IIMs and is better than the third generation IIMs. For 2021-2023 batch the average CTC was 18.14 LPA while the highest was 24LPA.

The course fee's is one of the lowest in the country among the top ranked NiRF colleges for management. The fees is around 4.5 lakhs for 2 years. Therefore, the Return on Investment (ROI) is very lucrative.

College has good infrastructure with almost every facilities and equipments . It has great research facilities and classrooms ,libraries are fully air conditioned with wifi setup and you have 24x7 access to it .Hostels are pretty congested but enough to have a good sleep might find difficulty in adjusting to it since the rooms are old and new hostels are in construction for accomodating more students.

Academics are hectic but it is quite decent to manage with other activities in the college .Rest it is all the same for every college the teaching and grading aspect .You will get the chance to get the teachings from the professors who are research experts in their subject matter and have authored some of the most great books which later has become foundation books to refer for to know the subject well enough.

It is great but it is very competitive as our peers are so tough with the best of best students sitting for placements which gets frustrating sometimes but would be worth to be competing among the peers for placements and everything is taken care of if we have a decent cpi with some nice projects and internships .

Definitely worth the investment with great return on investment .You can always get 2x of your fees getting paid for the college ,it all depends how you use the resourses .Everything is been served enough to be worth the money paid .

Its great and full of fun with various activites to participate in and clubs to join where you can fulfill the need for doing extra curriculum activities of your wish which makes you all rounder apart from just studies
