IIT BHU does have all the necessary infrastructures that a standard college should have, but with respect to standards expected from IITs, better lecture theatres and seminar halls are expected. Coming to facilities and equipment it is excellent. Some of the instruments in department laboratories are not functioning. The reading room of the libraries could have an extended time limit. The sports centre and grounds are stupendous. Yes, the living spaces are clean and the food is hygenic.

I am currently studying in the materials science and technology department and I got this branch because it was the best branch at the best IIT for the rank I got. The quality of teaching is good and is quite good. The curriculum is quite nice as the branch is quiet compared to other branches and mostly includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes mostly it makes the student job-ready but students have to read a bit extra for job readiness.

The quality of placements has been quite good. 65-75 per cent of students got placed in the initial round of placements. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 crore per annum and it went to a student from the branch CSE. The average salary offered was 18-19 lakhs per annum. The placement process was easy according to our seniors. Yes, my college was supportive of placement.

Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure,facilities and equipment. My college has classrooms, laboratories , more than 1 library and 1indoor sports centre and different hostels for different years. It also has wifi in hostel rooms. The living spaces are clean and food is hygenic

I am studying materials science and technology because it is one of the core branches and I am interested in core research. Quality of teaching is quite good. Curriculum is good and updated and include many recent developments in the field as the branch is quite new relatively to other branches . Yes it makes us job ready but we have to study a bit extra for job- ready.

Placement is quite good at my college. 70-75 percentage students got placed who sat for placements. Highest salary was 1.2 cr/album and it was offered to a student from CSE. The average salary was 18-19 lakhs. The placement process was easy as told by our seniors. Yes my college was quite supportive.

Our college has a decent amount of infrastructure as some iit should have. Facilities and equipments are quiet good here . We have Wifi in whole campus and sport center for sports. We have great hostels with proper hygiene.

I am in the material science and technology branch which is mainly a research and development field.I am interested in pursuing higher studies in future so this was the best college that i could get from my rank.We have some very helpful professors who try to stay in touch with the industry so that it can get us placed.

Yes,My college have all the necessary infrastructure,facilities and equipments.It has in campus high speed wifi facility.There are laboratories,libraries,sports centres and hostels in my campus. Our classrooms are also equipped with smart boards.All the facilities and food provided are well maintained and hygienic.

I am studying in this college because I achieved AIR 11728 rank in jee advance and this is the best college that i could get in this rank. The quality of teaching is very nice and the major focus is given on practical knowledge rather than bookish things.My curriculum is updated which includes all the recent developments in the world.

New boys hostel DG-2 is very decent. Fully equipment with relevant furniture and good space. But the problem of having a good place to live with a cost of sacrificing good food. The mess food is not up to the mark (Eatable Only). Other hostel mess are very good they serve you with healthy and delicious meals (should try every mess).

Teachers are good and experienced. Some professor are chill. They will not bother you about attendance but it is not the case always. Our department is good with teacher having a great research background and overall staff is very nice.(But believe me, your going to study only just a day exam)

I dont have much ideas about placements ... but I guess the Avg package offered was around 18 lac per annum till now in first round of placements at material science and technology (IDD). And the highest package was around 35 lac...

Campus life is amazing. Although you might not get the best infra and facilities in here. But believe me the people here will compensate for it 100%. You will meet some of the most extra ordinary people here. The vibes really hits different in here.

The college has a comparatively good infrastructure but has older buildings, the area is one of the largest considering indian engineering colleges. The material science building is close to lab facility for accessibility.

As a student of material science and technology I can confirm the quality of education provided and the lower student number in the branch assures more interaction with professor directly and the libraries ensure there is never a shortage of resources.

The college has one of the best placements in the country and is competent to the other best iits. The average placement is close to 20 lpa and almost 100 percent students get placed. The average placement reported of material science in 2022 was 19 lpa.

The college hostel has decent mess food and the quality of education is great and is equipped with the best lab equipments.

The college provides relaxation in hostel curfews and it makes it possible to spend time with friends at your own time and moreover many clubs make socializing possible.

The college is the only open campus iit it allows the city to be more accessible and makes it possible to spend time with friends outside. The college has competent placement with great academics as well as a great place for overall development of a student profile.

Infrastructure is good, new parks are stabilized and playing ground are well maintained with regular grass cutting, well drainage system and amazing mess service and well hygienic. Washrooms are also hygienic with regular wash.

In accordance to my JEE rank, the most perfect and old IIT which I get is this college only. Teaching level is also good, teachers are always willingness to help students. Yes curriculum is always updated in the field of new development.

Yes my college has all the necessary facilities and equipment that is required. We have classrooms which are of various sizes, more than one library, one indoor sports centre and many hostels for different branches and year. Wifi is available in room but no smart board in classroom. They are all used and are well maintained . The food is hygienic and living spaces are cleaned everyday.

I am studying materials science and technology because it is the course for future and also because this was the best branch I got in old iits . Quality of teaching is good and innovative. The curriculum is updated and many things are from 2010s. We have to study a little extra for job readiness .

I study in IIT BHU talking about the infrastructure it is good our college has all the facilities like labs and libraries the labs also have all the equipment required. The surrounding is clean and green. the food is also hygienic

The quality of teaching is excellent with excellent faculty members. Maximum faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful and they help in every way they can. The curriculum is perfect and is up to date and it also includes all the recent developments and it also ensures that your future is safe with good placement.

Around 90% of students get placed every year with decent packages the average placement is around 11 lacs and 14 lacs for computer related branches and the highest package was around 2cr this year.placements are the only good thing you will get here after 4 years.

It costs you 80k rupees per sem with hostel and mess fees included in it. I feel I am getting money's worth because of the facilities I am getting.

If you are planning to join IIT BHU you will have the one of the best campus life. Here students are engaged in many activities like coding and many more. Teachers and students are quite supportive and the campus is completely safe with ambulance facilities.

College infrastructure is awesome. Although it's an old institute the infrastructure of the college is well maintained. Each and every classroom has been well organised and maintained. Hostel room are well maintained and every year there will be a new hostel being built. Each and every facility is being fully provided to students without any delay. Even though the food in the hostel mess are clean hygenic and healthy. Sports centers classrooms hostels library each and every part is well maintain

I am a final year student studying civil engineering and pursuing btech in 2022. It's really been a great experience these past 4 years which was the memorable days in my life where there were many up and downs but stood strong and faced it . Academic wise teaching is excellent . Teacher shows special interest if the candidate doesn't understand and will help them out regardless the time or in the classroom.

IIT BHU has always a record of 100 percent placements every time. This time also it top the list of with whooping package of 2.05 crore per annum international wise and approximate 60 lakh package domestic wise. The average salary is also based on the students performance and talent sitting in the placements but the average salary package lies between 8 lakh - 12 lakh per annum.

Being an obc student , there's been an income based fee every semester and year. For me it's cost around 20000 per semester which includes academic and hostel mess fee. Yes , I feel it is really money worth to study here . I'm glad to get a seat in IIT . Because it's not a huge amount to be paid. Whereas normal local btech college fee is around 1 lakh . Comparison to that this is really worthy to study here.

Campuses life is really awesome such a beautiful experience to study in IIT BHU. This has been the best part happened so far where will know how to handle the situation being away from home taking own decisions and it was really helpful. Yes it is safe inside the campus and can handle any emergencies if happened

It's been a great experience studying in IIT BHU . Learnt each and every thing what has to bee learnt in life. Over all experience is good and I wish all the upcoming students also to have a bright and good future ahead.
