Building and hostel are very old but new ones are in progress, good wifi connectivity across the campus and great sports facilities, academic is good with highly qualified professor, food and other facilities are like other hostel.
As it is IIT so research and further studies opportunity is great, with talented professor but curriculum is still the same as 10-20 years old. You can explore as there are many clubs which will help you in your overall developmemt.
Highest placements of 2022-23 was 1.2 Cr of MNC and maximum where placed in civil branch highest was around 43 lac with average of 19 lac. There is training and placements cell which helps you in your placements journey.
Fees of IITBHU is around 1.3 lac per semester. It is value for money. It is among the oldest engineering college of the country.
Best part is the 1300 acres campus it is large but worst part is the same you need to travel large distance for going to attend lecture
As IIT you should think for it.
Our college infrastructure is good but some building are old. Our hostel is well maintained and well equipped. Our classroom is well maintained.wifi has good speed.Food is best among all iit.Cleanliness is maintain in our hostel and campus.
I am studying civil engineering here. Our professor are very knowledgeable and have deep knowledge of subject. Professor are really very helpful and friendly, if you pay enough attention then you can understand the subject easily.
Placements are just awesome in our college, the average placement is pretty high in circuital branches and even in the core branches its good. Cse and mnc had an average package of 32 lpa and 37 lpa respectively. In our branch it is 19 lpa, and most of the students got a job.
It's an iit so of course it is value for money cause whatever you spend here in 4 years is way less compared to what you will earn later in your life. Our average total spend in 4 years is almost 10 lakh.
College life is just awesome here, the peer group is quite unique and everyone possesses some unique talent. The teachers and the staffs are quite friendly. You will have the exposure for everything you wish to do. College is a safe premise and you will not face any issue here.
Overall our college is a decent one with almost every facility you could ask for, and since it's an iit, you will get enough respect in society as well. Placements are also quite awesome so if your rank affords it, do consider our iit as an option.
Our college is well equipped with all the necessary facilities. Infrastructure is just okay in my opinion, like it's old and not very well maintained but it's nothing to worry about. Sports Centre and hostels are quite good, our sac and library is well equipped and has wifi and ac. Wifi is also available in the whole campus and works well.
I'm doing btech and mtech dual degree in mining engineering. Quality of teaching is good, teachers are good but not every student is able to understand them, overall academics is fine in my opinion. Curriculum is updated I think but not very much, there are still some traditional subjects being taught that we do not need in future.
Placements is quite good in our college, and at par with some of the top iits. Most of the students got a good package. Cse had an average package of 32, while mnc had a package of 37, overall good placements with some awesome international offers too.
It's definitely value for money, cause whatever you pay here for 4-5 years is too less compared to what you'll get after passing out from here. You would definitely have a respect in society, and enjoy a lot because of the freedom we have here.
Campus life is quite good, we enioy a lot in our hostel and in our campus. There's a lot of eating outlets, and shops for almost everything you need. Teachers and staffs are quite friendly and i did not have any issue related to them. The campus is safe as well, do not worry about it.
Overall our college is decent, not that much good compared to other iits but still better than most of the colleges out there. If your rank affords it, do consider it as an option. The placement is the most awesome thing about our college and you'll definitely love your time here.
The college infrastructure is not as expected. The building are old and feel like haunted area the wifi facility was good and very advance sport activity centre well maintained sports ground the hostel was very small.
Interaction with professor and seniour is very helpful and supporting. The style of teaching was very supportive and teachers help student any time and give extra time to clear their doubt before the semester exam.
Placement was amazing specially in the IT sector and the coading culture was amazing. The student get all the help from department and placement cell. Seniour also help juniour to prepare for the placement.
I feel that the fees was little bit high as compared to other govt college. As per the infrastructure the fees was not very worth. Placement justify the fees but the campus and events will not justify the fees.
The campus life was amazing but there was a big problem due to open campus. Outsider was randomly walking inside the campus. People's mobile and purse generally get snatched. There was a benefit of having an open campus because people get food item from outside.
The college was amazing in academic and placement, the infrastructure have old design and very old hostels and the open campus was very big problem. As per the academic point of view i will definitely recommend this college but campus life was not very good.
Our college is equipped with all the necessities but some of them are not latest. Our buildings are quite old and some of them needs renovation. Our classroom, hostel, library and even the gymkhana has a wifi which is blazing fast. AC is only present in the library. Food is decent, neither too good, nor too bad.
I’m doing btech in civil engineering and i would not be lying when i say that i only chose it because that’s the best my jee advanced rank could get. The quality of education here is quite good i would say, it’s like if you want to study then there’s enough opportunities. The curriculum is not at all updated but it’s decent overall i would say. The things taught in class are not easy to understand and goes bouncer for almost everyone in class.
Placement is the only criteria in which our college excels in my opinion. The average, highest as well as the median salaries are quite good and at par with the top IITs. The average salary offered for civil branch was somewhere around 19-20 for 2023 batch. Mnc saw the highest average placement with somewhere around 37 and cse was at 32. Overall it’s quite good.
Okay let me be honest here, IITs are not worth it, especially if it’s IIT bhu. I paid around 1,20,000 just for one semester that would last for around 4 months. What they teach in class is not understood by most of us, everyone just copies lab experiments and all, assignments are a joke when a single person’s assignment is copied by almost everyone in the class. So yeah, trust me.. IIT bhu is not worth it, just come here for the placement, that’s it.
Campus life is quite decent, hostel life is the best i would say especially in the boys hostel cause I don’t know much about the girls hostel. We have many eating outlets just beside our hostel. There’s a place for almost everything you would like to do, and you’ll definitely love the kashi vibe here. All the facilities are good and the staffs are quite decent everywhere, teachers are quite good as well (not teaching wise). Campus is safe, not 100 percent i would say but still, it’s safe.
Overall, it’s a decent college, not worth the money they ask for but definitely a good choice for people who just want placements. If you rank can afford it, do come here and enjoy the kashi vibe with us.

In summary, for a career based program, DU is possibly less tedious and better for networking/job opportunities in metros, whilst BHU is a good option for research and higher study opportunities.
B. Pharma is available at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) under DU.
: Admission is through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) .
Required Subjects : You need to have studied Physics, Chemistry , and either Biology or Mathematics in 12th grade.
