Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati was established in 1994 and is an institute of national importance. IIT Guwahati offers courses at three levels which include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. IITG offers a total of 242 courses in full-time, part-time, and online mode.
The M.Tech courses in the branch of Biomedical Engineering is offered by Jyoti and Bhupat Mehta School of Health Sciences and Technology, IIT Guwahati.
