IIT Kanpur has a Students’ Placement Office (SPO) that acts as a facilitator for all the placement and recruiting related processes. Student training, resume shortlisting, infrastructure arrangements, hospitality, conducting screening tests, scheduling and conducting job interviews are the various services provided by the institute SPO in coordination with the Career Development Cell (CDC). Some of the activities of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur placement office include assisting students for internships, organising training for interviews and coordinating recruitment process for graduating students through campus placement drive. SPO also maintains contact with various corporate sectors in order to provide good career options for the IIT Kanpur students. For IIT Kanpur placement recruiters are invited on the campus. IIT Kanpur scholarship wants that none of its students should be kept void from the renowned institute joining due to the problem of finance lacking. All those students who are pursuing the BTP/UGP or any undergraduate student or a group of students from the fourth year are eligible for the purpose. For the students who are post graduate, only MSc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree/ MS(R)/ M.Tech/ M.Des./ MBA/ Ph.D. will be eligible for consideration. Only scholarship wherein a student who has applied and is eligible for another scholarship can also avail this particular scholarship. |
The Committee appointed for providing scholarships of the institute will determine the criteria of grade points that is the CPI of a student that should be more than or equal to a particular score required and who needs to be eligible for the IIT Kanpur scholarship. A student cannot take more than one IIT Kanpur scholarship or financial aid in one academic year.
