Infrastructure of college is good but there are some important things are missing such as the old hostels are very congested and also lacks in some important appliances like heaters in rooms due to very low temperature here in this area.
In my opinion the academic is upto the point if we talk about curriculum ,content ,courses ,etc but the facilities are not as good because some are very good but mostly lacks in teaching experience and manner.
Placements are very good and companies from all domains visit to hire and day by day the stats is increasing which is a good thing and also here the environment is competitive So overall I feel it is very good.
Newly built hostel are good inspired same as iit kanpur good environment and as well good hostel arrangement and facilities bus services as well as good Newly built acadmic building Library facilities
Acadmic facilities good likes classroom labs and wi fi teachers are good but some teachers not communicate in Hindi newly built acadmic classrooms and central library facilities. Good computer labs and mechanical mechainary.
Numbers of companies come this campus increase with respect to others years . Average placement. Good companies come in this campus and give good placement Companies give good apportunity for students
IIT Mandi has modern infrastructure with advanced labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a central library. It provides hostels, sports complexes, medical facilities, research centers, and dining services, ensuring a comfortable and well-equipped campus.
I am studying B.Tech because of my interest in engineering and innovation. Teaching quality at IIT Mandi is good, with qualified faculty and practical learning. The curriculum is updated, industry-relevant, and includes projects that build real-world skills.
Placements at IIT Mandi are good, with around 70–95% students placed depending on the year. Average package is about ₹22 LPA, with top companies visiting. Roles offered include software, analytics, and core engineering positions.
The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is known for its beautiful and eco-friendly environment. Located in the hills of Himachal Pradesh, the campus is surrounded by greenery, mountains, and the Uhl River, offering clean air and a peacefull atmosphere
very beautiful infrastructure, newly built hostels inspired by IIT Kanpur hostel pattern, mess facility is too good, good acedemic facilities also it contains all the necessary components, but the main problem is less area according to its capacity of students.
Academics are good but faculties are well educated but lacks in teaching and fluently communicate in english and lacks in interaction with students not all but most. Beside this everything else is good.
Placements are very good in my opinion ,also the fact is average packages for almost all branches are more than normal packages So thats a good stat and also companies comes from different domains and no. of them is also increasing every year.
It is a value for money college .
Average campus life due to a remote location .
According to me the infrastructure is lacking behind as compare to other IIT college because here the capacity is less but enrollment is increasing every year So that is a problem and also some important appliances are not present like heaters, etc.
In my opinion very few professors are good but a very large no. of professors don't know how to teach properly.About the curriculum it is updated to latest and the course structure and content is all good.
Placements are good ,many from all domain comes and the ratio of placement is very good but can't say the same for internship .Also the number of companies visiting every year is increasing which in result is a good thing for us.
It is good value for money option because of good placements, good environment and such a beautiful place.Lack in the location point of view .
Campus Life is not upto the mark according to my perspective because there is no freshman party celebration and also due to highly dangerous place because of landslides and all it is decent as campus Life here for me as it is opinion based.
The infrastructure is good. View is really nice . I really believe that they can still do better . There are going to be more hostels in future . The classrooms and lecture halls are really nice . Projectors , blackboard are very nice.
It's okaish , Many professors are good while many aren't that good in teaching . The quality of teaching can still be improved. Mostly they repeat same things in each course. According to me it can still be improved.
The placements are really nice . All the circuital branches have really nice placements till now . The internships are also nice if you have skills and hardwork . There are many software companies that visit our campus and we really like the placements.
The mess foods and hostels are not good at all. Especially the mess , their food quality gets decreased throughout the year and if we complain they won't listen. The hostels are okaish but still they need improvement.
I would rate my campus life a 5/5 . The best features are the scenery, peace and quite life. The students are mostly nice, but still there are some students that are too wierd but it's okay .all the facilities like sports and health are nice.
I would recommend you to consider this college if you get a decent rank in JEE Advanced .
As per number of students that are enrolled in multiple domains the infrastructure is not up to the mark, because they are increasing the enrollments every year but the accommodation facilities are not increasing at the same rate
I am studying Management course and the quality of teaching is very nice for some course and for some it is worst that can be, curriculum is updated and the courses are designed such that they makes us job ready but they lack some content for current dynamic job market
The placement process is not that smooth for all the people as informed by seniors also, for pgp the placements are highly dependent on the past degree/courses that they have done rather then the current course they did in their pgp
As per current bachelor programs running in the institute it is expensive, but as compared to other B schools it is decent
Very remote
The labs and hostels matches the expectations of a relatively newly built campus. Academic buildings are hygienic and clean, though hostels and other non formal spaces need more frequent maintanence. Location is a very big bottleneck, as a campus in itself could not cater both material as well as social needs.
Quality of teaching is similar to any other IIT. The ciriculam is updated and it helps u be industry ready. The courses are relevant to placements in Core. There are many courses which help you build Projects.
The placements statistics are available on many websites. The data varies widely depending on the market and the number of companies coming to the campus. But overall if you are balanced in your academics then getting a decent placement is not a tough task.
College infrastructure is good, although the numbering on buildings and rooms is kind of weird. Everything else is fine, there are heated classrooms. And the new hostels have ACs. Old ones are congested.
Although being an IIT, very few professors know how to teach. The content provided is good tho. There is good competitive environment, courses are good and provide real skill. There are all kind of labs, Labs are the best part of the college.
Placements are good, most of the students get placed and the average package is pretty good too. Although internships are taken by only circuital branches. Companies are increasing year by year, so overall it's good.
I think it's a value for money because of the facilities available. A semester fee for B.Tech is approx 1,30,000/- (including mess and hostel). And if you have scholarship there can be upto 100% waiver on tuition fee, which is approx 1 lakh.
This is the part which sucks the most (although depends upon perspective). Nearest city is one hour away, your connection is cut from the outside world, and there is not much inside the campus. The buses are few too.
Good infrastructure but not enough buildings and connectivity issue but available necessary equipment and facilities something wifi not works to connect laptop and mess facilities are decent not that good I would say need to improve food quality in mess
I am studying maths and computing because this is my brach and it alloted according my rank . I genuinely don't like quality of teaching . They stick with curriculum that is made before they are not updating according to time
Since my collage is iit so placements are good.90 lac to 1 cr is highest and 80 to 90% is placed. 15 to 20 lpa is ave for all branch .I didn't join placement process so I have no idea about that I think collage is supportive is this process
Because I belonged to st cetegory so I need to pay 30k to 40k in every semester for mess and food and 0 tuition fee . Yes value for money. These kind fee relaxation for poor student are very useful so it's good
It is good . Campus is good and students are intelligent and teacher are decent . Personally I don't like most of prof as nature and I feel most of prof are not that intelligent and do not have teaching skill at iit level
I would say all thing are good
Hy,
When comparing different IITs and their respective programs, it's essential to consider factors such as placement statistics, career opportunities, faculty, research facilities, and overall reputation.
Hello, aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
So as per your question, the average package secured by the students of IIT Mandi for the course of MBA in the last consecutive years is 23 lakhs, and the highest package secured by the students is 60 lakhs per annum. Remember that
Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi has an active VLSI programme for the students targeting admission in 2022. The candidates are selected through an all India entrance examination (GATE) followed by a written test and an interview.
Candidates with their branches in engineering such as BE or B. Tech in Electrical
