I'm a CSE undergrad and I'm more than satisfied by the curriculum of our department. We are mentored by world class professors who have years of experience. Our Curriculum is updated recently in 2013 but the course is dependent on the professor who undertook the course.
The last placement season has seen some of the top companies like Microsoft, adobe, Goldman Sachs, oracle etc. But the overall scene was not so good due to the pandemic. More than 90% of the participated students got placed in CSE. Average package offered is somewhere around 15LPA CTC.
Over 2 lakhs tuition fee and I feel like it is worth every penny of it. The course content aims to deliver content in a very engaging manner.
Best about the campus life is the friends. There are many clubs and activities one can engage in college. Everyone is super friendly in college. Campus is located beside a lake and a hill. There were leopard sighting almost every year. With out the sighting of the leopard king/Queen, the college life isn't complete.
The infrastructure of the college is too good. It is well equipped with all the necessary and also sone luxurious things. All the classroom are well maintained and have centralized air conditioning and a very good wifi connectivity.we all know that iit bombay best college in india as well as all campus area is neat and clean and all the parks and sport area area are well maintained
I was the student of bioengineering and bioscience As I already had some interest towards this subject, I am loved it and As well all the professors here are very good and the content delivered very well. As well all the academics are well taken care of.
The placement at IIT Bombay are excellent. The process for applying is well monitored and excused properly. While in the placement most of the high rank companies come. I don't the exact stats but both the average salary and highest salary are too good. When i was 1 sem student i interact with the senior and they had been went to proper placement training .
Well it cost almost 1 lakh which include all the academic and other facilities available at IIT Bombay and it also include the hostel fees. Definitely it worth of spending this money here, because I feel all the facilities we get are pretty good and the cost for it is not too much it is ok for me
The campus life is most beautiful part of the college. Due to presence such a huge and beautiful campus the life is full of joy. Apart from these there are too much fun is going on in the form of fests, dj nights, parties, workshops, clubs, and many more other activities in each field, and also hostel activities are conducted hence the campus life is literally lit.
Everyone have a dream to study in best university or college . It was a great opportunity
College infrastructure is outstanding. From hotels to classes that's all great. Every hostel has its own canteen. There are separate rooms for each club. The convocation hall is magnificent. I personally like the library and ambience there.
Some of the teachers here are amazing. But most of them are decent. They are really helpful and ready to do more for you. I liked many of my profs not just for their proficiency at teaching but also for the kind of people they are.
Placements are quite good but now in covid, situation is getting worse. Many people think that for IITians getting job is easy. It's really not. You should have a decent CPI. Then you should have a POR and the list goes on. At last these things will only make you eligible for interviews. The interview rounds and the other aptitude tests will be conducted then. In case you survive in all of these, you will get placed. You can check the average packages here on google(they aren't in crores)
One of the best Chemical Engineering curriculum offered in India is by IITBombay. There are faculties from varied backgrounds of chemical. There is emphasis both on industries as well as pure science. The curriculum enables the student to be industry ready. Also the lab facilities are world class and no doubt it is one of the best in India
Curriculum is diverse with focus both on research oriented subject topics as well as industrial topics. The first and second year focuses on building the basics like thermodynamics and transport phenomena .From third year onwards , focus is more on industrial topics like chemical reaction engineering, process control etc.
Placements are good. There are many companies like HIL, Dr.Reddy which offer a decent package to the students .Other than that many students opt of non core jobs as well and there are a variety of finance and marketing companies hiring for the same
1.5 lakhs per semester.
IIT Bombay has a plethora of opportunities to offer to its students

Being one of the best technical institute in India, IIT BOMBAY accommodate the best facilities for education as well as research purposes. Any facility that a student can dream of is available here. We have high end laboratories with 3 electronic microscopes. We have 24*7 wifi system. Top class library as well as sports infrastructures are also present here. Clean and hygiene living space and best quality food are other peculiarities of our institute.
I am a second year under graduate of BTech civil engineering. Apart from high quality labs and equipments, we have best professors in India. All required courses are there in for curriculum, may it be regarding economics and business of may it be regarding social science and environment, apart from the updated technical curriculum part.
With the best quality of education provided, IIT Bombay leads in placement aspect as well. Highest salary offered last year was Rs 1.6 crores per annum, while average salary being Rs 18 LPA which was Rs 21 LPA year before. Apart from placements, internships are also there that to from top companies.
By considering the infrastructures, it is worth the money. My annual cost is about 3 LPA without any scholarships. Scholarships are also entertained here. But in this COVID scenario, annual cost for me was about 2 LPA without scholarships, which I think is not worthy since we can’t infrastructures.
One of the main reason I chose IITB was its campus life. There are many opportunities to explore and many events. It’s the best I’ve been to be honest.
I highly recommend IITB for all the students out there searching for technical institutes. It’s the best!
Lecture halls and laboratories have excellent facilities. It has one of the largest libraries in any college. It has several indoor and outdoor stadiums with an olympic size swimming pool. The hostel rooms are a bit old.
I am studying b.des since I like product design. The teaching is top notch and we get good enough exposure in the field of design. The curriculum is up to date. In the first two years we learn basics of all kinds of design and from third year, we can choose projects to our liking.
The placements are really good. Around 85 percentage of students were placed. Highest package offered was 1.47 crore per annum for Computer Science. The average salary is approximately 1 lac but it depends on person to person.
It costs around 3 lac per year. I think it is worth the money since you get job security and good opportunities.
The campus is filled with trees and it has two lakes. It is near a posh area called Hiranandani gardens. Airport is within 10 km range.
Newly developed hostels are very good at IIT Bombay. Though old hostels have few problems however other facilities like wifi sports, labs, library, smart classrooms are well up to date with latest technology.
Study material is well up to date with latest trends. Moreover students also get opportunity to complete minors in subjects of choice. Students also get opportunity to learn and practice other non engineering domains like humanities electives, arts, digital marketing, ...
College overall has very good placements. Highest packages generally come from CSE branch. Recent years have also seen rise in entrepreneurial culture. Also students have got placements through research sector.
The huge campus with walkpaths and greeny trees . Ofcourse with all the necessary facilities. Amazing library , and ohh yes the classrooms are super amazing. All the sports are encouraged and the gymkhana is huge and amazing.
Chemistry cuz that's what my rank could get me the course at IITB .Well the curriculum is very nice tho it's a bit hectic for freshies this year . And no doubt it includes all the recent developments including great lab experiments
Good. Yet I am a freshie so can't really comment about the placements. But so far what I heard the placements here are very good and so many multinational companies approach the students here for jobs .
Yes.
Outstanding.
Apart from studying the campuses gives you a chance to develop your skills in almost every field from dramatics to sport and the campus has well built infrastructure for this, campus also provides you high quality wifi and lan almost everywhere in campus.
I am pursuing my degree of bs Economics currently, the institute provides high quality education with in a latest technology fashion, good ratio of proffesors and students is also a key point, Many students go for higher education from here but even after graduation you are job ready
With the pandemic going on, and everything moved went online, the campus still maintained their placements very well, the average package being 20 lpa, the highest package offered internationally was 1.16 CPA.
Studying here costs you around 2.5-2 lacs per year or for both the semesters on undergraduate level, but the college have strong alumni network which provides you various scholarship if your family's annual income is below certain limit.
The infrastructure of the college is too good. It is well equipped with all the necessary and also sone luxurious things. All the classroom are well maintained and have centralized air conditioning and a very good wifi connectivity. As well as all campus area is neat and clean and all the parks and sport area area are well maintained
Currently I am pursuing bachelors in the economics department. As I already had sone interest towards this subject, I am loving it. As well all the professors here are very good and the content delivered very well. As well all the academics are well taken care of.
