College Infrastructure
There are well-furnished labs, classrooms and a library, and there is a free Wi-Fi connection in the college. The food provided by the mess is decent and in addition, the campus has various other refreshment outlets like Coffee Day Express.

The infrastructure here at IIT Kanpur is really good and well maintained. The basic facilities like library, classrooms, lecture halls are high tech and really advanced. Even the new hostels are really cool and good.

College Infrastructure
The campus of IIT kanpur is very nice as it has all the necessary equipments and facilities which are required for proper study environment. The facilities like WiFi, smart board all are fully functional and well maintained.

If your main goal is better placements and a flexible career, CSE at IIT Jodhpur or Ropar is the smarter choice.
Even newer IITs give strong packages in CSE because companies hire heavily from this branch. But if you truly love mechanical engineering and value the legacy of a top IIT, Mech at IIT Kanpur is great.
IIT Kanpur has higher prestige, but Mechanical will not give as many placement opportunities as CSE.
So overall, for most students, CSE at Jodhpur/Ropar is the more practical and career-friendly option.
