Infrastructure of University of hyderabad is unique to its own way compared to other universities. It has all facilities in colleges , labs , hostels. It provides wifi and smart classes to all students in all classes.

I am studying 5th semester which means currently in 3rd year of Integrated Master of Arts in Sociology. Academics are managed by professors and are upto the contemporary events and are well explain by professors.

Placements are very minimal to students pursuing normal degrees at University of hyderabad. Because as it is a government funded university it has limited connection with private companies but placements are good in Btech courses

UoH has a really big and peaceful campus with lots of greenery. The classrooms, library, labs and hostels are good, and there are also places for sports and other activities. Overall, the campus is comfortable for students.

Academics at UoH are good, with many courses and subjects to choose from. The teachers are knowledgeable and students get a good environment to learn, ask questions and explore their interests. Its fine for normal students

Placements at UoH are okay, but they can depend a lot on the course. The university provides placement support and students get chances to apply for jobs, internships and other career opportunities. Ultimately its okay.

UoH has a spacious, green campus with equipped classrooms, libraries, hostels, labs, sports facilities that make student life comfortable. It also has Wifi facilities all over the University though it does not have network signal properly as it is located in a jungle area.

Integrated Master of Arts in Anthropology is a 5 year course, which has BA and MA combined for a 5 year term. People can exit after 3 years with a BA certificate and also they can exit after 4 years with a BA Hons certificate and finally if you complete the 5 years you will be awarded with BA and MA Certificates both.

Placements in University of Hyderabad varies from course to course but it provides better support for internships and career guidance. So placements in UOH is a very minimal thing so keep your expectations low as it is a government university.

With subsidized rates for tution fees , it is very affordable for underprivileged students.

Campus life at UoH is really fun. There are lots of trees and open spaces, and students can play sports, join events and spend time with friends. The campus feels peaceful and friendly.

Lab equipments are provided for language science pursuers in the form of Computer labs for specially Computational linguistics. Hostels and sports facilities are above average for a government University.

I am currently doing my Integrated Master of Arts in Language Science, currently in my 3rd year. The courses have been upto the mark and every semester the level will go up , which gives you experience and training in all areas of Language Science.

Placements are very minimum but the exposure you will get by having a degree from University of Hyderabad is very helpful to us in the coming years. There is no particular hiring that will happen in here.

Infrastructure is fine for average. It has good transport facility which is free of cost for everyone and also sports facilities are also free for everyone which I felt good as I myself am a sportsperson.

I have been admitted into Integrated Master of Arts in Sociology for 5 years. It's my first year into the course and I find it interesting about the subject. It does help in building a better society.

University of Hyderabad is a central government funded university, which does not have much connections with private companies. It does not provide any placement for arts but the certificate has good value.

An average infrastructure as expected for a central government managed university. Great infrastructure in science related departments with very good equipments. Other than departments are decent in infrastructure with all basic facilities.

I'm currently pursuing a Integrated Master of Arts in Political Science, because it follows my interest. The quality of teaching is something excellent, as professors here are already existing with high practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge.

Below average for a government University in comparison with other private universities. Mostly placements are not provided inside university for BA and other programs, might be having placement opportunities in Technology field.

Very good value for money , as fees are at subsidized rates.

Campus life is the best part of this university. It can only be experienced, cannot be explained.

Infrastructure is good for more popular and demanding departments and other departments infrastructure is maintained in normal condition, not too good or not too bad. It's okay for a normal government university.

I'm studying IMA History, which is Integrated course of BA and MA together for 5 years. The course curriculum stays updated to the present situations and exams are conducted in well structured manner. Professors are too good.

As it is a government university, placements are minimal. As per my course is a integrated degree course, the university doesn't offer any placements for degree students. I have no information about btech placements.

For the money I pay, it's very good. It cost around 11k for one year , in which I will get 10k scholarship. So it's a good value for money.

Campus Life is the best , surrounded by nature and having the best professors in the country, gives a good environment for studying.

The university is great and is at the heart of the city, the faculty is great and supportive. It would be a very great experience after 12 th to live in campus and have good natured people around you. Definitely a good place for growing and learning things both academically and personally.

Academics are very nice. It’s a great place to start your undergrad, the faculty is extraordinary will give you their own personal growth experiences and connect well with the students. Teaching and the syllabus is very great.

Placements are good basically on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s 6 somewhere, is highly based on the course you have selected for yourself to grow in. The science stream and the research side is very great, a very good place to grow if you are interested in phd etc. For social sciences also a very good start as the university is politically active.

The courses offered are very affordable keeping aside the courses for MBA also the amount required to stay in hostels is also very affordable

The campus life is really good, SUKOON the fest is UOH’s heart and soul. It’s a three day fest where we have holidays and so much fun. The hostel life is pretty great as there are no restrictions or time constraints based on genders. It’s a very great place to grow personally

The college infrastructure is good in the new buildings but the old buildings need some improvement specially in the washrooms. The new buildings are very well built, very clean and well ventilated. The older building are a bit dirty. We have facilities like 24x7 library and reading room, very good laboratories, very practical and we have sport centres for many different sports and a gym too. Wifi is provided everywhere and we'll maintained. The food is okayish the hygiene needs improvement

I am studying psychology because I want to help people dealing with mental health issues as it is not talked about much. Our teachers are very polite and understanding and are very professional yet friendly. The curriculum is good. I feel like they should expand the specialisation but yeah, the teachers are very clear with their concept and we understand it very well.

Placement is good in other courses but we don't have placement for psychology as the placement companies ask way too much money for placement arrangement in the field of psychology. But other courses have good placement as far as I know.

My course fee per year is around 12-17k. The hostel and mess fees are different. Hostel fee per year is around 1-2k and the mess fee per year is around 18-24k. It is value for money because we are getting a lot of facilities at so less cost. They can improve mess a little like the hygiene of food otherwise it's fine.

The campus life is excellent. We don't have strict rules about bedtime etc which makes it easy for us to manage our studies according to our convenience and the campus is pretty safe. I've had multiple walks around the campus during summers to get some fresh air after studying around like 2am and I walked alone for 5-6kms and I never felt threatened or unsafe. It does have it's own cons like getting influenced by people but ya that's an individual thing which can be controlled. Students have the freedom to engage in numerous activities. There are so many I can't name them all. Students are good, we work like a team. Teachers are very understanding atleast in psychology field.
