NIFTEM-T Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

During NIFTEM-T placements 2024, a median package of Rs 3.65 LPA was offered to B.Tech students. As per the NIRF report 2025, NIFTEM Thanjavur's median average package offered to PG students was Rs 4.6 LPA, and the total number of PG students placed was 21 in the academic year 2023-24.

The following is the basic procedure for recruitment at the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur:

• National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management Thanjavur placement cell sends out invitations to different companies and organisations to seek their confirmation for participating in the annual placement drive.

• After the institute receives the confirmation of participation from the interested firms, the dates for conducting interview rounds are decided by the institute and the organisation mutually.

• After the dates are scheduled, the students are notified about the timetable of the placement drive by the training and placement cell’s circular.

• The students then have to register themselves to participate in the placement drive by fulfilling the required eligibility criteria.

• After the student applications are received, the companies will visit the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur campus and conduct various interview rounds like a personal interview, group discussion, written test, aptitude test, etc.

• After the candidate has cleared all these rounds successfully, he/she is finally selected and offered the job with a decent salary package.
