The Mizoram University offers admissions to several degree programmes offered at Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D levels. Mizoram University B.Tech admissions are offered through the JEE Main examination or MZU EEE examination. B.Arch admissions are through NATA exam while one needs to clear the NEET exam for pursuing MBBS course at Mizoram University.

B.Ed	50	Passed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field with minimum 50% marks or a B.Tech degree with specialisation in Maths and Science with minimum 55% marks.
BCA	30	Passed Class 10+2 with any stream. Students with a Mathematics background will be preferred.
MBBS	100	Passed Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
B.Pharma	30	Passed Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (PCMB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM).
BBA		Passed Class 10+2 from any recognised board.

I am pursuing my Master degree in Political Science and the teaching quality is also good as the faculty are experienced enough and dedicated. The curriculum needs improvement as with the implementation of NEP the syllabus covered for our particular subject is reduced some topic which are important for NET exams and competitive exams are left out, it does make us job ready but can be improved.

Being a central university we are provided with all the necessary equipment and facilities necessary for the education that we are obtaining. The classes are equipped with smart board and the laboratories are all filled with all the equipment necessary for the education. Wifi is provided in every department of education as well as the hostel where all short of people from different community stay together keeping the hostel and classes clean and hygenic.
