- The first merit list for admission to postgraduate courses offered by GGU Bilaspur was released on June 27, 2024. The first round of counselling for admission and fee submission will be until July 12, 2024, from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The second merit list will be released on July 16, 2024.
Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur formerly known as Guru Ghasidas University was established in the year 1983 by an Act Legislative Assembly. The GGU Bilaspur has been accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade. As per the NIRF 2023 ranking, GGU Bilaspur stood at 43rd position under the ‘Pharmacy’ category and therefore was among the top 50 Pharmacy institutions in the country.
Guru Ghasidas University offers three levels of courses which include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level programmes. Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is a university which was established in the year 1983. Located in a socially and economically challenged area, after the Central Universities Act 2009, it changed its name to honour the great Satnami Saint Guru Ghasidas, someone who restlessly fought against the evils and injustice in society. The GGU Bilaspur offers a variety of courses to students.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is also improving; earlier, there were not proper individual buildings for each department, but now they are under construction. And the infrastructure will be good after one year. The first-year class will be held in old buildings and the second-year class will be in new buildings for all engineering departments. There is free Wi-Fi inside the library, in hostels and inside the departments; you have to register for that.
Overall experience is very good.

College Infrastructure
All facilities were good. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratories were decent. Classrooms were spacious, well-ventilated, and bright. There was a decent library in this college. The library was air-conditioned, and several books were available. The food quality was average. Medical facilities were provided. Sports were good. Hostel was very good.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure and facilities are very good. Large classrooms with enough capacity. The large library contains various books, magazines and daily newspapers. Wi-Fi facilities are provided in the department and also in the library. The hostel also has a good and clean environment. Mess provides good and healthy food. The sports facility is also good.

Admission to UG and PG programmes at GGU is now open. Undergraduate course admissions will be handled by CUET UG. Applying for the CUET UG 2022 test is required by June 24 on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. The CUET UG 2022 test is expected to be given between July 15 and August 10, 2022. Candidates must take the CUET PG test in order to be admitted to graduate programmes. Additionally, the deadline for CUET PG applications has been postponed till July 10, 2022. On the NTA's official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, candidates may register for the CUET PG 2022 exam.

Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (VET) is conducted for admission into various courses under science, arts, commerce, pharmacy streams such as B.Sc, BA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.Pharm, BSW, B.LIB.I.Sc, BA-LL.B and B.Com-LL.B etc. Whereas jee main students are eligible to apply for the btech courses followed by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling process. If you have a valid jee main score then you can go for various btech courses in ggu whereas for other courses either vet or cuet scores are considered for admission.
