Academics
The phd required a lot more independent thinking than my earlier studies. The learning mostly and basically came from research paper, experiments, and discussions with supervisor rather than regular teaching
College Infra
Iitj is also one of the best IITs, the campus is very lively with lot of greenery present all round, the classroom have modern architecture with smart boards and research labs are also magnificent and quite literally amazing.
Placements
Placement wise also and career wise also the programme was mainly useful for building a research oriented carrer and companies also came , educational sectors for professors and teachers were also there for placements and job opportunities.

B.Tech Civil and Infrastructure Engineering - Batch of 2029-01-01
Academics
The college infrastructure is well-developed and provides all the essential facilities required by students. The campus has large open grounds and an excellent sports complex (Aakash Complex) with facilities for sports such as badminton, squash, basketball, and other indoor and outdoor games. The institute also has a Primary Health Centre (PHC), food court, central library, and other student amenities.
Classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and conducive to learning. Laboratories are well-maintained and equipped with the necessary instruments for practical work. Hostel facilities are good, with regular cleaning and proper maintenance of living spaces. Most facilities are easily accessible and are kept in good condition throughout the year.
Overall, the campus infrastructure effectively supports both academic and extracurricular activities, providing students with a comfortable and productive learning environment.

In core branches such as Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering, many students prefer higher studies or government job preparation, so the placement percentage appears comparatively lower.
Several reputed companies visit the campus every year and offer opportunities across different domains. The highest package offered recently was around ₹1.2 crore per annum, which was secured by a student from the CSE branch. Overall, the placement opportunities are strong for students who maintain good academic performance and develop relevant technical skills.

Strong academics with modern curriculum, practical learning, research focus, and flexible course options. Faculty quality is good but slightly inconsistent. Emphasis on innovation, projects, and interdisciplinary studies.
College Infra
Modern 800+ acre campus with smart classrooms, advanced labs, Wi-Fi, AC hostels (mostly single rooms), sports complex, gym, and clean infrastructure. New buildings and tech-enabled facilities give a premium feel.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant and growing with cultural fests, tech events, and student clubs. Modern hostel facilities and a peaceful environment make it comfortable, though it’s still developing compared to older IITs.
Placements
Placement is strong with an average package of around 12–15 LPA and top packages reaching 40–60+ LPA. CSE gets the best offers. Top companies like Amazon and Microsoft recruit. Good skills can secure excellent placements.
