The college is so beautiful the whole campus that you will thank yourself for choosing IIT kharagpur, it is having a very strong infrastructure and was built in 1951. Also the hostel rooms are very nice. You will enjoy the life in campus...

The teachers in IIT kharagpur are just amazing you will get a learn a lot from your teachers. Also do participate in the hackathons and other competitions regularly so that you can gain a good knowledge. Also make contact with seniors it is very necessary..

The placements of college in the famous branches is very nice and you will be satisfied with your first salary. I think the average package was higher in the year when I graduated from the previous year, and the alumni network is also very strong..

Amazing

IIT KGP has great infrastructure with all facilities; my department has AC classrooms with modern projectors to teach. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc. But mess food is below average.

All teachers are helpful; you approach them first and are well qualified. A few teachers are involved in some research. They thought so as well. Yes, the curriculum is relevant for my industry but a little modification is required. Marking is relatively new, so their are no fixed passing criteria. Their are two major exams in a semester, mid-semester and end-semester. Some courses are very tough and some are medium. Overall, the semester is above average.

The placement scenario at IIT Kharagpur for the previously placed batch looked very promising. In the 2023–24 placement season, a total of 1277 students were placed. In electrical engineering, the highest package offered was around 66 LPA, and the average package was approximately 23.3 LPA.

Good college.

You know my college is just great. I have completed by degree and lived the best years of my life. The infrastructure of IIT kharagpur is very well constructed. We have classrooms, laboratories in the college. Hostels amd Mess is also present.

The teachers I like most of them but some of them were quiet strict with me. But overall the academic facilities in the college are present. The curriculum is based on current technologies and we follow that only.

In the placement drive students get high packages and even go abroad if they have the offer. I also got nice package and I am into corporate since 2 years gaining the experience you can also get the same if you work accordingly.

The college infrastructure is very well developed. In the hostels also the rooms are big as compared to the no. of students. The laboratories are having some of the old equipments but they are updated regularly. The campus size is large.

We are being taught what actually requires in our field, in my branch you have to focus on academics as well as what you are doing side by side. The teachers will help you when needed but do focus on your skills development more.

The packages from IIT kharagpur are always top notch. The students are being placed in top companies since past many years whether it be META, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, NETFLIX etc. Even from lower branches the students word hard and get into top colleges.

The kharagpur IIT is built very beautifully. It has been with all the facilities that students require in their day to day life like Mess, Hostel, Library, canteen etc. It's campus is very big.. Spread in many acres of land..

It has highly educated teachers to teach students in bachelors as well as in masters also students connect with each other in code fest, cultural fest to gather and innovate . They share their ideas and work as team to develop their projects.

Being from a decent branch at IIT you will definitely get a high package else depends upon your skill set. The packages are high for branches like CSE, ECE and you can get it from any branch if you have developed the job oriented skills.

Nothing

The college is having very nice facilities no doubt why it is an IIT. It is having Libraries, Classrooms, Laboratories in which the students of very high capacity can accomodate easily. In the hostels their is full wifi facility.

Being an IIT , it should be great and it is exactly, the teachers that will teach you here are just amazing and no doubt why people want to get into IIT kharagpur. The quality of teachers is top class.....

The average package of more than 20 lpa from a lot of years at my time also the branch placements were more than expectation but many choose to either go for startup or get into further studying abroad or in IIM's for MBA.

The college is totally amazing, it is full with greenery all around and their is sports facility also in the campus. It has a beautiful structure in front. Hostels, wifi, mess everything is their in the campus.

Totally dynamic academic culture is their amongst the students no doubt. Mostly the students are involved in one or another type of technologies like aws, ai and ml, cloud computing etc. And teachers also help us in getting the right approach for it.

IIT kharagpur is having a very good placement records from a lot of years that have passed. Also some students become Entrepreneurs and start their own companies. The packages are also being lowest to 12 lpa and highest more than a crore per annum.

It was constructed a long back in time and still it just looks very beautiful and amazing no doubt 10/10 to campus view. Also we are having different types of Labs in the college to get deep and practical knowledge of each subject.

Their is a very nice coding culture in the campus, students focus on innovation and talk about new ideas and our teachers fully support us in that no doubt the teachers are very good but sometimes strict also...

No need to talk much about it as students and the alumni network of the college speaks on its own. The packages are increasing year to year and students are getting great opportunities abroad also. Conclusion:Placements are amazing.

I myself found the college campus very beautiful full with greenery. It has what a college requires ventilated hostels, lecture halls. The laboratories are also very big at my college. I am from South and the South dishes that are provided in the mess are just average.

It has wonderful students and teachers bounding. We can approach for doubts even after lecture hours. Based on the wonderful culture we also take help from our seniors and helped a lot of students when we were in third/fourth year.

The best thing is that you get placed in your dream companies with your hardwork. And you can except a very nice first salary if you have worked hard, the Kharagpur IIT will definitely play it's role in to get you in to MAANG etc.

Whoever reading this review of mine, firstly go to google and search the amazing the campus of IIT Kharagpur no doubt it is one of the best Institute of india with amazing facilities . Very big classrooms, new machinaries in the college, everything is available.

Their is not much need to explain, it has got very well educated group of teachers with full focused curriculum that makes us the best engineers of the nation. And no doubt the updation in the curriculum with new technology will keep it far going for upcoming students.

Amzon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft etc in all these big companies our students are placed. We also know the CEO of Google Mr Sundar Pichai is also from our college. The average package is more than 15 lpa.
