World class infrastructure. Buildings are made with top notch facility and clean campus due to availability of dustbins everywhere. It's totally green campus, making it pollution free. The infrastructure is well established.

Updated academics meeting market scenario. The curriculum is excellent and not only covers core subjects, but also covers allied subjects that are useful in other branches as well. Those subjects are taught that have more demand and good future scope.

Placement is generally good, but this year it was below average. Due to recession, many companies are not shortlisted even they visit every year. Also some students are shortlisted by one company, but till now they haven't got their confirmation letter.

The environment, skills, knowledge and tag returns the investment in good amount. The amount of hard work and dedication we put here pays well at the end. The environment is healthy and everyone learns something new here.

Completely safe and exciting campus life. Be it all sports or swimming pool, every place is exciting. Students roam around the campus even at 2 am without any restrictions. There's no crime ever made here. Thanks to cctv cameras all over the campus and strict management.

IIT KGP has great infrastructure with all facilities; my department has AC classrooms with modern projectors to teach. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc. But mess food is below average.

The teachers are qualified, friendly, and helpful. There were four exams in a semester: a mid-semester exam, an end-of-semester exam, and two class tests. The difficulty level is moderate for class tests, but the semester exams are on the tougher side. Additionally, the duration of the semester is relatively short, around 3.5 months.

Around 70–80% of students are placed every year. The average placement last year was 17 lpa, and the highest was around 80 lpa. I don't have much idea of what the recruiting companies were last year. Most of the students go into non-core jobs, as there aren't many core companies that come. From this branch, several students also go for higher studies.

Superb college.

Indian institute of technology Kharagpur have a greenish campus with all necessary facilities within the campus such as atm machine and smart bazar also. All labs are well equipped and classroom have projecter.

IIT Kharagpur has a great team of professor which have a great knowledge in their respective subjects. IIT provide many courses. 75 percentage attendance policy is required to fullfill by all the students.

Placement cell have a great contact with big multi national company such as Google, Microsoft, Wipro, LG etc . Average package for computer science and engineering branch was 19 lakh per annum and highest package goes around 56 lpa.

There are currently 22 halls on the premises, with an additional 2 halls set to be officially opened on the 20th of 2024 by the prime minister. The campus is equipped with a wide range of amenities including sports facilities, a library, Wi-Fi, dining options, laboratories, auditoriums, a 24-hour hospital, and more. All necessary requirements are met within the campus.

Good college.

IIT KGP has numerous infrastructure which will amaze you. There are humongous building which looks beautiful and they are well maintained as well like main building, nalanda complex. Library is huge as well, maximum hostels are good and have enough spaces, gymkhana has indoor badminton court, table tennis court.

In academics, teachers are of great experience they will try to resolve any of your doubts regarding the subject. But many of the time students find a way to study by themselves like all college. But if you want to study a particular thing you can do it here extensively.

Placement are good as its in top 5 colleges of the country, it will be always be in top Placements in the country. Although recession does affect the Placement, still if you are good in your acads, in the field you want to go in, you can crack the Placements.

Yes, you will be paying almost the same as other government colleges, and can crack a placement internship of much higher value. It will be on you to make your investment count, college itself gives you an ample opportunity to make it value for money.

Campus life is good, as its very big campus there will be many places to roam around. You will find people outside there rooms many of the time. Night life of campus is awesome, you will find students exploring campus, jamming together.

Talking about the infrastructure of IIT kharagpur, the campus is one of the biggest among all IITs with well maintained and plenty of staff. There are all differents grounds for all the sports, also every hall of residence has their independent ground as well.

Infrastructure is Nice Overall. The Classrooms and Lecture Halls are Spacious .The Hostels are also very Clean. The only concern is about wide area , we have to Travel long to reach any place , that's the only Problem. also Any Scooter is not allowed.

Some Professors are not good , they just teach and complete Syllabus . Some are really Very helpful and Supporting . They are highly Qualified. I would not go much in deep of it but as I have not been a regular Front Bencher in IIT .

Not idea about Placements , but as per the Level of IIT not up to the mark this year. Due to recession I guess the Placements were not upto the Mark . The reason are numerous may be because of Low Knowledge of Reservation Students.

After Thorough Analysis I would say It is Worth it.

Hostel facilities at IIT Kharagpur are well maintained and equipped with essential amenities. Hostels like Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall provide comfortable accommodation for students. Basic facilities like filtered water, 24*7 electricity, and Wi-Fi are available. The hostel mess offers nutritious and varied meals. The hostel fee is reasonable, ensuring affordability for students from divers.

Teachers are really helpful and educated. Their teaching quality is awesome. Course curriculum is very much relevant for the recent job market and studies. Here the semester exams are at a standard level, not so hard, not so easy. Around 50% is the pass percentage for all subjects.

There is no precise data available regarding the specific placement in a particular branch, however, my branch of Electrical Engineering in the B.Tech program has received a total of 58 offers. Top companies such as QualComm, Texas Instruments, and ISRO are the major recruiters in my branch. In total, there are 104 offers, including placement offers, extended to all students in the Electrical Engineering department.

Good college.

Infrastructure is the biggest strength of our college; we have the most organized IIT campus among others. We have a lot of ground to cover to improve our skills in sports and other extracurricular activities. The campus is also green because of the trees around it. Course is all about electronics and communication. The college also has canteens in it and has good eateries. The college is on like 2100 acres so we have a lot of space in the college.

All teachers are helpful; you approach them first and are well qualified. A few teachers are involved in some research. They thought so as well. Yes, the curriculum is relevant for my industry but a little modification is required. Marking is relatively new, so their are no fixed passing criteria. Their are two major exams in a semester, mid-semester and end-semester. Some courses are very tough and some are medium. Overall, the semester is above average.

According to last year's placement history, these are the core companies that visited : 1. Coal India 2. Bharat Aluminum Company Ltd. 3. Damodar Valley Corporation. 4. Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. 5. Tata Steel. 6. Vedanta (Hindustan Zinc Ltd) Vedanta Aluminum Ltd. has a minimum package of 10–12 LPA, while the maximum can be 30–40 LPA.

Good college.

They provide the best facilities, such as excellent Wi-Fi. Labs have good computers. The hostel infrastructure is definitely one of the best on the north campus of DU. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus, and the labs and classrooms are well organized. The hostel facilities are quite good, and the mess food is awesome. And definitely, the sports and game opportunities are top-notch.

Our IIT provides the best placements. IIT college placement is good; almost 100 percent of students are placed every year. There were many roles offered to the students at that college. From my batch and my senior batch, almost 92 percent were placed. So this college is good and auspicious. The highest package is 53 LPA, the lowest package is 7.4 LPA, and the average package is 13 LPA.
