Infrastructure is Nice Overall. The Classrooms and Lecture Halls are Spacious .The Hostels are also very Clean. The only concern is about wide area , we have to Travel long to reach any place , that's the only Problem. also Any Scooter is not allowed.

Some Professors are not good , they just teach and complete Syllabus . Some are really Very helpful and Supporting . They are highly Qualified. I would not go much in deep of it but as I have not been a regular Front Bencher in IIT .

Not idea about Placements , but as per the Level of IIT not up to the mark this year. Due to recession I guess the Placements were not upto the Mark . The reason are numerous may be because of Low Knowledge of Reservation Students.

After Thorough Analysis I would say It is Worth it.

Amazing Campus Life Experience. The visiting spots are there along with many hangout places .

Hostel facilities at IIT Kharagpur are well maintained and equipped with essential amenities. Hostels like Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall provide comfortable accommodation for students. Basic facilities like filtered water, 24*7 electricity, and Wi-Fi are available. The hostel mess offers nutritious and varied meals. The hostel fee is reasonable, ensuring affordability for students from divers.

Teachers are really helpful and educated. Their teaching quality is awesome. Course curriculum is very much relevant for the recent job market and studies. Here the semester exams are at a standard level, not so hard, not so easy. Around 50% is the pass percentage for all subjects.

There is no precise data available regarding the specific placement in a particular branch, however, my branch of Electrical Engineering in the B.Tech program has received a total of 58 offers. Top companies such as QualComm, Texas Instruments, and ISRO are the major recruiters in my branch. In total, there are 104 offers, including placement offers, extended to all students in the Electrical Engineering department.

We have a lot of ground to cover to improve our skills in sports and other extracurricular activities. The campus is also green because of the trees around it. Course is all about electronics and communication. The college also has canteens in it and has good eateries. The college is on like 2100 acres so we have a lot of space in the college.

All teachers are helpful; you approach them first and are well qualified. A few teachers are involved in some research. They thought so as well. Yes, the curriculum is relevant for my industry but a little modification is required. Marking is relatively new, so their are no fixed passing criteria. Their are two major exams in a semester, mid-semester and end-semester. Some courses are very tough and some are medium. Overall, the semester is above average.

According to last year's placement history, these are the core companies that visited : 1. Coal India 2. Bharat Aluminum Company Ltd. 3. Damodar Valley Corporation. 4. Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. 5. Tata Steel. 6. Vedanta (Hindustan Zinc Ltd) Vedanta Aluminum Ltd. has a minimum package of 10–12 LPA, while the maximum can be 30–40 LPA.

They provide the best facilities, such as excellent Wi-Fi. Labs have good computers. The hostel infrastructure is definitely one of the best on the north campus of DU. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus, and the labs and classrooms are well organized. The hostel facilities are quite good, and the mess food is awesome. And definitely, the sports and game opportunities are top-notch.

Our IIT provides the best placements. IIT college placement is good; almost 100 percent of students are placed every year. There were many roles offered to the students at that college. From my batch and my senior batch, almost 92 percent were placed. So this college is good and auspicious. The highest package is 53 LPA, the lowest package is 7.4 LPA, and the average package is 13 LPA.

Good college in kharagpur.

The food quality at the mess is good, with a well-maintained menu.

The placement scenario at IIT KGP is quite impressive, with an average package of around 22 LPA. The highest offer reached 1.69 CPA, with notable offers extended to both the CSE and Mathematics departments. The institute provides various opportunities for studying abroad, along with numerous internship options.

The infrastructure of this college is so beautiful.Condition and maintenance of classrooms,labs , libraries and sports ground is on time.This college has an adequacy of space for various activities like sports,Cultural Function.Wi fi facility is available on college campus.The living space are clean and the food hygienic.

I am currently pursuing Graduation from this college.Quality of teaching is very good.This college is known for academic excellence and curriculum was updated as per New education policy 2020 That is helpful for us.

The quality of placement of this college is good.Placement facilities are available for only professional courses.The college is supporting their students for every process.As per my knowledge the average package of the students in professional courses is 15 lpa.

Better college.

IIT KGP has great infrastructure with all facilities; my department has AC classrooms with modern projectors to teach. Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus, and at the same time, library facilities are also good. We have a central library that has all the useful books. Free bus and medical services are provided inside the campus. The hostel provides all required facilities, including sports, proper electricity supply, furniture, etc. But mess food is below average

As per last year's statistics, 68.75% of students get placed with the highest and minimum package of 33 and 8.5 Lacs, respectively. The average package was 17.96 lacs, and the median package was 16.50 lacs. Companies like Nestle, Britannia, etc. come every year for placements. Approximately 30 to 40% % students get internships in companies like Nestle, Britannia, etc.

When it comes to IIT Kharagpur, you need not worry about infrastructural facilities. We have high-teach classrooms, the latest digital and smart devices are used .Hostels are clean and hygienic.The food quality of mess is also good.

Best institute for engineering

Mechanical engineering department of IIT Kharagpur is the largest in the country. Lecture halls are completely air conditioned. Free Wi-Fi is available to all the students registered under the erp portals of the college. Well-equipped labs are present. A centrally located library is there. Talking of the hostel, as it is the oldest IIT in the nation, major hostel infrastructures date back to 80s and 90s. Wi-Fi, library and store facilities are there in hostel but mess food average to adjustable.

I have currently pursuing my doctorate degree in mechanical engineering which is completed till june 2025.My guide is very helpful and supportive.course curriculum is well designed .I am study to being a good assistant professor.
