Yes , all the facilities and lab equipment is excellent here in the college except mediocre internet quality .classrooms are neat and clean with sufficient ventilation .labs have all the enough stuff for large number of students. Stray dogs sometimes create nuisance and disturb hygiene, seldom enters in to the classroom. Though there are many students in the college ,cleaning staff always keeps the campus clean and green . Traffic police monitors every junction and campus is indeed very nice and

I am studying chemical engineering btech 4 yera course. I have chosen this over other colleges and branches because my elder sister had pursued the same course in another iit and she had great exposure and placement though in non core stream. Quality of teaching solely depends on the professor . Some are very good aatexplaining thing but very few teaches in an unengaging way. But overall teaching is good. Because of the post pandemic recession placements were qutie low this year. And surprisingly mechanical engineering students placed well than cse and ece students. Highest is around 4cr. Placement process has been made easy by the college through its best reputation , and also good candidates. My course costed 3 lakhs per year including all the expenses like mess, hostel fee. Yes i do feel that way because food in the hall in good and better than many other colleges. Considering all the eminities like library , campus ,hostel and everything money is not at all a problem and one can also opt for educational loans or can avail for scholarships but shouldn't drop the college for the cause of money. Tuition fee is neither high nor low ,it is correct according to me .

Campus life is good here and it depends peand and change sfrom person to person. Our college, IIT Kharagpur has got all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We've WiFi facilities , smart board, AC, etc. They're used and well maintained. The living spaces are neat and clean.

The curriculum is updated and it does include all the recent developments in the field. But in the present scenario of the digital world, not every stream can ensure a job Or high placements. But if anyone works hard in there field, then they can definitely secure a decent job in the core sector as well.

The placement process was as usual a bit tiring, with the common excitement and anxiety. The college officials were very supportive and helping. Above 90% students were placed. The highest package offered was 2.6 Cr offered to an ECE department student.

The campus life is unbeatable here. The campus is entirely covered with huge forest cover and century old trees, with so much variety of flora that one would have never seen before. It's very soothing and calming to walk and cycle around the huge campus. The campus is very safe. There are a plethora of activities offered here for students with a variety of societies, clubs and cells like Business club, entrepreneurship cell, 180 Degrees consulting, Debating society, dance, dramatics society, etc

I had a wonderful experience here. I and my friends here have worked excessively hard for last year and now being here at IIT Kharagpur is like a dream come true for all of us. The campus life is very vibrant and full of fun. You'll love this college for sure. It's like a totally different world in here.

IIT Kharagpur is having one of the best infrastructure of all colleges. The campus is in coordination with the nature. We even have lakes and a beautiful canopy. As a KGPian I can proudly say that we have the largest campus which is really hard to maintain but all the halls, library, auditoriums, classroom complex, sports complex are well equipped and well maintained and are so hygienic. The campus has the WI-FI network available all around the campus. We even have a national digital library.

I'm a first year undergraduate student currently pursuing Mechanical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. Our curriculum has recently got updated and new subjects like DIY, ES and English lab were added which are very necessary in this competitive society. The faculty has tons of experience in their respective field and are always ready to help students out.

As a mechanical engineer graduate at IIT Kharagpur I can proudly say that this year the maximum number offers have been made to mechanical engineering(122) which is followed by ECE. And most of the offers were made to dual degree candidates followed by MTech students and then to BTech students.

My course costs INR 1,04,000 per year and the life here is worth the amount. We are provided with quality education and excellent lab equipment. We have a freedom to choose the career we are interested in and we get huge support to develop those skills.

A dream come true . Academically and extra- curricula wise, there are lot of things to explore out here . You can find an amazing peer group coming from every corner of the nation. In a span of 4 years we not only learn our respective course but also sustaining with people of different culture, skills and personality. We have many clubs and societies which help us improve our communication skills, leadership qualities and team coordination.

Everything in infrastructure is good enough . It is modern and latest except the buildings since they have constructed it 10-15 years back . Talking about food , it is getting better taste wise whereas there is no compromise in quality .

Talking about professors , they have enough knowledge but do not have enough knowledge how to deliver it . Some professors are quite good at both and makes study a fun activity . While some professors just do their duty and completes the course . Yes, the curriculum is updated and they also adds new opportunity to students to grow.

Placements here are quite good and one of the best in India . Every year many seniors get crores of package in core as well as non-core inside campus and off-campus . About 93 percent of students get placement . Highest package goes 4 crore . Average salary over here is 15 lakh per annum which is quite good in comparison of other private colleges.

Course cost around 3lakh per annum which is average in India and is cheap enough as compare to other private colleges . In this amount hostel , mess , hospital and academic activities are included . So, I personally feel that it is worth it since you experience IIT culture of study .

College life is just amazing . I feel it is best , since I have never experienced hostel and college life before . Best features are : - campus , bengali culture , cycle culture , bengali sweet , its unique environment . Worst features are : - academic activities do not get its solution quickly . Supporting staff is very nice and helpful .

Overall its is quite good package for study as well as enjoyment . Seniors over here are very helpful and friendly . They help in activities such as academics , sports , cultural events , social events , etc .

IIT Kharagpur, the mother of all IITs and the largest, is one of the most prolific institutes in India. The students here get lots of facilities at the college. The classrooms are all well-maintained and divided into two types- Circular and Rectangular for a better view of students. The Central Library of IIT Kharagpur is India's biggest and most-facilitated Library of India. Sports centers and grounds are available for students to pursue their interests. The mess food is mediocre but eatable.

I am currently studying in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Being a Fresher here, each 1st year Under Graduate student has to learn the same subjects for the current year. Some of the professors' lessons are not so easy to understand, but the books available for the subject make the topic clear. I think the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field such as laboratories and machines.

IIT Kharagpur is best known for its placements in major giants like Google, Excel, Microsoft, and many more. About 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was Rs 2.68 crore per annum to the student with a B.tech degree in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Communication Engineering. The average salary offered was 16 lakhs per annum.

My course costs around 3 lakhs per annum. I don't think the course would be worth that money, but the college provides waivers and scholarships for those students who can't afford it. Scholarships are awarded based on one's family's annual income and the student's academic performance.

IIT Kharagpur also has the largest campus covering about 2100 acres of ground. It provides a lot of facilities including two stadiums, courts for almost all the sports, two lakes and many more parks for the students to visit. Being so large, the internet connectivity fluctuates a lot.

I would recommend this college to the students preparing for their JEE Advanced Examinations. I would also like to mention that seniors and peer groups are very helpful and friendly. There are lots of societies and clubs for students to pursue any of their side interests.

Infrastructure and course management are well-known strengths of the IITs. These resources are abundant at IIT KGP.The classrooms are air-conditioned and well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire campus.The Tata Steel Sports Complex, which is the center of all sports, is roughly the size of three soccer fields and two cricket grounds. Sanitation and hygiene is given a great attention.

I am a first-year student at the department of electronics and electrical communication engineering. I chose this branch because I am primarily interested in electronics.In the year 2020, our curriculum was revised, and starting that year, we were exposed to new curriculum and learning methods. The faculty is outstanding, and each has a PhD in their field of study. Additionally, we must select an extracurricular activity in our first year that will end in our second year.

Placements have been outstanding this year. 12 students recorded 1 crore plus package. On the first day of placements, only IIT KGP received the highest package amount of 2.68 crore. A total of 45 international offers came from countries like Japan (28), Taiwan (9), the US (3), and others. Additionally, students this year secured 900 internships. 2 domestic offers were close to 1 crore. to gain better placemements, the CDC helps students to enhance their skills.

Each semester, the cost of tuition is approximately Rs. 1 lakh, plus Rs. 30k for hostel and mess. Since no other institution offers this many facilities for this price, it is worthwhile.

On campus, there is no limit to enjoyment. We have a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and cultural centers. We have annual cultural fest known as spring fest and Tech fest called Kshitij. Numerous companies sponsor our fest. The one downside of IIT KGP is its location. There isn't much outside the campus since kharagpur is almost like a small town.

Overall, you'll love the campus because it exudes the vibes and aura you need. You are given a new path to learn things by the people and their actions of approach.

IIT Kharagpur, being the largest institute of technology has almost all the facilities insude the campus. Class rooms are having a good quality wifi and projector and smart board facilities too. And maintenance of them is done oftenly.

Iam pursuing my B.tech ( chemical engineering). I have a got a decent rank to get into it. And being one of top institute so I opted it in no time. The curriculum is also good . In the first year all students have same curriculum, so it gives exposure to all the subjects.

It has very good packages till date. Last year highest package was INR 2.4 cr. Highest among all. Avg package is around 16 lpa. More than 95% students are placed. And even this year the highest package touched a benchmark of INR 4 Cr.

The actual fee is around 3 lpa. But you will get scholarships according to your income . And merit also. If you get MCM you your annual fee will be less than 1 lpa.

It's very exciting to be here . The peer groups and the seniors are helpful and friendly. Students can take part in many of the societies to develop their skills. Staff is also very helpful and understandable. It is safe and also near to the railway station.

If you have not yet visited this campus atleast once , visit it if you have interest in clearing the IIT exam, it gives you a lot of motivation. Finally the culture and lingo here is too cool.. And finally ..... KGP KA TEMPO HIGHHHH HEIN ?

IIT Kharagpur, unlike other IIT's, is located on the outskirts. But DON'T BE CONCERNED! All the necessary facilities are available here. Despite the fact that IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest colleges in India, it has a fantastic and world-class infrastructure. The library is one of Asia's largest and is well equipped and well maintained. You can even find a digital library where you get access to digital resources and e-books. Coming to WI-FI, you may face issues in your halls.

The faculty at IIT Kharagpur are highly experienced and highly qualified, with outstanding knowledge in the subject area. So, never hesitate to clear your doubts with them. If they are not available, then teaching assistants are always there to help you out. And the academic curriculum is manageable, and you get a lot of time to explore new things and your interests.

I belong to OBC category and my family income is in between 1-5 lakhs, so my tuition fee is 33000 per semester and if you are someone who belongs to SC/ST category, then there would no tution fee at all. Our money is completely worth it. At IIT Kharagpur you will be surrounded by world class infrastructure, well-equipped labs and great sports facilities. And you are amidst great peer group and alumni.

Campus life at IIT Kharagpur is the best!!! You can find various societies according to your interests like TFPS for photography, SPATS for astronomy etc. You can join various clubs and improve your communication skills and time management skills. You can find students roaming all around the beautiful 2200 acres area during weekends and doing night outs. You cannot find theatres/malls/pubs, so you have to make a great peer group and enjoy the beautiful campus and explore new things.

KGP KA TEMPO HIGH HAI!!!

The college have a very high speed WiFi connections with sometimes it reaches to 1GB/s even but the thing is we cannot use whats app or telegram with that WiFi and cant download movies even,the class rooms and laboratories are awesom,sports facilities depends on the hall, big halls like LBS have all sports grounds within the hostel it self,the food will be clean and hygien but it depends on the hall,same menu but some halls cook them well where as some halls doesn't ,bathrooms are enough clean.

I am a mechanical engineering student,I took the course on my own interest only, the faculty of mechanical are mostly friendly expect few sirs who are too strict, they recently updated the curriculum in 2020, here we have an option of breadth i.e we can take a 1 course of other department which we like to do,so it will be useful for us at the time of placements, and there will be a lot of flexibility in the curriculum.

The placements here are awesome frankly speaking the mechanical engineering dominates all the other departments while placements,every year although CSE have the highest and average packages but MECH dominates with most number of offers every year,for more clear statistics of the placement data look at the AWAAZ,IIT KGP groups posts in facebook which is a student run body which updates you always about the college affairs.
