Infrastructure and course management are well-known strengths of the IITs. These resources are abundant at IIT KGP.The classrooms are air-conditioned and well equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire campus.The Tata Steel Sports Complex, which is the center of all sports, is roughly the size of three soccer fields and two cricket grounds. Sanitation and hygiene is given a great attention.

I am a first-year student at the department of electronics and electrical communication engineering. I chose this branch because I am primarily interested in electronics.In the year 2020, our curriculum was revised, and starting that year, we were exposed to new curriculum and learning methods. The faculty is outstanding, and each has a PhD in their field of study. Additionally, we must select an extracurricular activity in our first year that will end in our second year.

Placements have been outstanding this year. 12 students recorded 1 crore plus package. On the first day of placements, only IIT KGP received the highest package amount of 2.68 crore. A total of 45 international offers came from countries like Japan (28), Taiwan (9), the US (3), and others. Additionally, students this year secured 900 internships. 2 domestic offers were close to 1 crore. to gain better placemements, the CDC helps students to enhance their skills.

Each semester, the cost of tuition is approximately Rs. 1 lakh, plus Rs. 30k for hostel and mess. Since no other institution offers this many facilities for this price, it is worthwhile.

On campus, there is no limit to enjoyment. We have a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and cultural centers. We have annual cultural fest known as spring fest and Tech fest called Kshitij. Numerous companies sponsor our fest. The one downside of IIT KGP is its location. There isn't much outside the campus since kharagpur is almost like a small town.

Overall, you'll love the campus because it exudes the vibes and aura you need. You are given a new path to learn things by the people and their actions of approach.

IIT Kharagpur, being the largest institute of technology has almost all the facilities insude the campus. Class rooms are having a good quality wifi and projector and smart board facilities too. And maintenance of them is done oftenly.

Iam pursuing my B.tech ( chemical engineering). I have a got a decent rank to get into it. And being one of top institute so I opted it in no time. The curriculum is also good . In the first year all students have same curriculum, so it gives exposure to all the subjects.

It has very good packages till date. Last year highest package was INR 2.4 cr. Highest among all. Avg package is around 16 lpa. More than 95% students are placed. And even this year the highest package touched a benchmark of INR 4 Cr.

The actual fee is around 3 lpa. But you will get scholarships according to your income . And merit also. If you get MCM you your annual fee will be less than 1 lpa.

It's very exciting to be here . The peer groups and the seniors are helpful and friendly. Students can take part in many of the societies to develop their skills. Staff is also very helpful and understandable. It is safe and also near to the railway station.

If you have not yet visited this campus atleast once , visit it if you have interest in clearing the IIT exam, it gives you a lot of motivation. Finally the culture and lingo here is too cool.. And finally ..... KGP KA TEMPO HIGHHHH HEIN ?

IIT Kharagpur, unlike other IIT's, is located on the outskirts. But DON'T BE CONCERNED! All the necessary facilities are available here. Despite the fact that IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest colleges in India, it has a fantastic and world-class infrastructure. The library is one of Asia's largest and is well equipped and well maintained. You can even find a digital library where you get access to digital resources and e-books. Coming to WI-FI, you may face issues in your halls.

The faculty at IIT Kharagpur are highly experienced and highly qualified, with outstanding knowledge in the subject area. So, never hesitate to clear your doubts with them. If they are not available, then teaching assistants are always there to help you out. And the academic curriculum is manageable, and you get a lot of time to explore new things and your interests.

This year there has been a breakthrough performance of IIT Kharagpur with fastest to climb 1000+ offers in just two days among all IIT's. The maximum number of offers has been made to the department of mechanical engineering, followed by ECE and CSE. You can refer to metakgp or awaaz for more statistics.

I belong to OBC category and my family income is in between 1-5 lakhs, so my tuition fee is 33000 per semester and if you are someone who belongs to SC/ST category, then there would no tution fee at all. Our money is completely worth it. At IIT Kharagpur you will be surrounded by world class infrastructure, well-equipped labs and great sports facilities. And you are amidst great peer group and alumni.

Campus life at IIT Kharagpur is the best!!! You can find various societies according to your interests like TFPS for photography, SPATS for astronomy etc. You can join various clubs and improve your communication skills and time management skills. You can find students roaming all around the beautiful 2200 acres area during weekends and doing night outs. You cannot find theatres/malls/pubs, so you have to make a great peer group and enjoy the beautiful campus and explore new things.

KGP KA TEMPO HIGH HAI!!!

The college have a very high speed WiFi connections with sometimes it reaches to 1GB/s even but the thing is we cannot use whats app or telegram with that WiFi and cant download movies even,the class rooms and laboratories are awesom,sports facilities depends on the hall, big halls like LBS have all sports grounds within the hostel it self,the food will be clean and hygien but it depends on the hall,same menu but some halls cook them well where as some halls doesn't ,bathrooms are enough clean.

I am a mechanical engineering student,I took the course on my own interest only, the faculty of mechanical are mostly friendly expect few sirs who are too strict, they recently updated the curriculum in 2020, here we have an option of breadth i.e we can take a 1 course of other department which we like to do,so it will be useful for us at the time of placements, and there will be a lot of flexibility in the curriculum.

The placements here are awesome frankly speaking the mechanical engineering dominates all the other departments while placements,every year although CSE have the highest and average packages but MECH dominates with most number of offers every year,for more clear statistics of the placement data look at the AWAAZ,IIT KGP groups posts in facebook which is a student run body which updates you always about the college affairs.

Structure is outstanding as there are several amenities for the students which helps the students to develop their interest in studies and it is like water electricity cleanliness are very good and surrounding is nice

Basically acadamics is good as I am doing it here and the quality of teaching is outstanding as the teachers are well qualified and I think the curriculum is also operated on the daily basis and I think in IT field I can easily get job

Quality of placement is this college is nice as 10% of students usually place every year and the fee of placement is just 7000 rupees and the highest salary package is about 3to4lacs and average salary of 1 to 2 lac

Our institute is located in one best and beautiful cities in the nation. It has the temple and greenery garden as beautiful center of attraction. Our institute has best infrastructure over any other institute in Bangalore. We've all the advanced facilities like sports centers,indoor stadiums, cafeteria,WIFI,smart classes.

Almost every student is willing to join in our institute as it has the good academic career for the students to gain required knowledge and to improve specific skills towards present market needs. The best faculties with excellent laboratories were subjected to train the students.

The placement cell is working really hard in bringing top MNC's to the college for the placements and the students are benefitted greatly by it. The placements offer a descent package and it is completely worth it.

All the necessary infrastructure is available. so All classes are provided with Wifi and smartboard facilities. Hostels are cleaned everyday and food is hygienic. It is emsured to provide balanced meal to the students.

Teachers here are always helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams can be difficult or easy depending on how much you are prepared for the same. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The subjects help students a lot in applying the concepts.

Every student got placed for the summer internship here. Top roles offered here were sales and marketing related. Sales and finance-related companies visit here. There were many top recruiters this year. The stipend offered was relevant to the job positions being provided.

The campus life was awesome the college environment is very vibrant there is always something going on the college and there are various societies that a person can join. The teachers are extremely supportive and understanding the college is completely safe.

The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Bloomberg lab with 12 fully equipped terminals is provided. The library is available with books from multiple functions including analytics, finance, marketing, human resources and various other management books. Classrooms are newly built and well designed. Double occupancy rooms are available in the hostel. Mess food is bad, and medical facilities are decent. Sports facilities are also bad.

The course is very productive and will surely help one learn and go in-depth with the subjects offered. The faculty are well-educated and are youth mostly, so you can connect with them more. I liked the subject combination as well. They look into the practical aspects more, which helps us develop the mind frame to that of a professional. So, it's an advantage for us.

Almost 100% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is 27 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Goldman Sachs, Pidilite, ICICI Lombard, and HDFC Bank visited the campus. Top roles offered are general Management and product management. Almost 100% of the students got an internship.

IIT Kharagpur being one of the best and oldest varsities in India, has excellent infrastructure, facilities and all necessary amenities in its vast 2100 Acre Campus. Classes are mostly held either in the Main Building Complex, New Constructed Tech-Equipped Nalanda Complex or at your Respective Departments varying for Courses. KGP has one of the fastest and reliable Wifi across campuses as well as Excellent Sports Facilities with Participation in Annual Events like GC, Inter IIT, Open IIT, etc.

KGP has some of the best researchers, academicians and scholars inducted in its faculty besides having an excellent curriculum at par with the Best Universities in the World. KGP even has a very relaxed and student friendly curriculum where students get ample time to pursue their interests and hobbies.

KGP has excellent Placements and most of the Students in BTech & Dual Degree batches are placed across Core Engineering, FMCG, Software, Data Science, Finance, Startup and Consulting Profiles. In Metallurgical Department while more than 70% students prefer getting placed with a Non Core Sector Job with some of the Best MnCs, 10-20% students get placed or intern in Core Companies like Tata Steel, Reliance, Airbus, GE Aviation, Vedanta, Bajaj Auto, Etc.

Being from General Category, the Tuition fee for BTech Program would be costing me between 10-11lakhs (8 Semester). However there are subsidies for SC/ST Students as well as several Scholarship Schemes like MCM Scholarship to provide financial support.

IIT KGP has one of the best campus & hall cultures, excellent food in messes and a really vibrant and strong campus life.

IIT KHARAGPUR is the biggest campus in the India . It includes huge hostel and the room are also neat which are cleaned once a day. But the mess is quite tidy and a bit messy . The food is also needed to be more hygienic.

I am studying Electrical Engineering because I love the concepts of electricity. The quality of teaching is high but some of the professors are lacking the way of interaction with the students. Curriculum not only includes the books but also practical knowledge but there is not enough time to manage both.

The campus take care of each and every students placements and prepare the students for the all the job placement. So the students can take a bit relax in this aspect . But the competition is so high in the campus that every one is not paid with the good salary .

As I am a SC student the course cost approx. 1 LAKH each year . I feel that my money is used upon me but that usage can also be improved , by including more events and functions in the campus so that we can have some refreshment in the campus along with the study.

The campus life in the college is just awesome . There are playgrounds to play, Gymkhana to do extra circular activities and many shops near by the hostel to but the necessary items . The only disadvantage is that there is nothing much or interesting outside the campus .The life is stuck between 4 walls.

I have joined the IIT Kharagpur not only to get a degree but also to enjoy the B.tech life at its best. Which the campus is providing me . Though the competition is very high inside the campus but its also a way to struggle in the life and get success.
