The department has a state-of-art infrastructure pertaining to its labs. Various research facilities are available along with the IIT Delhi supercomputer for major computational work which was used in drug discovery for Covid. The campus has a good Wi-Fi speed with airconditioned and technically equipped classrooms and one of the best libraries in the country. IIT Delhi boasts a great hostel culture with inter-hostel games and hostel festivals. Mess food is good and eatable.

Teachers of the departments are most qualified in their respective fields. These are well-trained faculty members with international relations and good quality research outcomes and citations. The curriculum is rigorous starting from basic biology to bioinformatics and genomics. Exams at IIT Delhi are conducted thrice in a year known as Minor 1, Minor 2, and Majors. The evaluation is spread across quizzes, minors, majors, and lab activity. The pass percentage is 30% generally.

Almost everyone who opts for placement is placed in sectors ranging from core to non-core, from consulting and finances to the technical and analytics. Many students opt for higher studies and most get admissions at top universities in and around the world like the Ivies. The startup culture is also making its way with 4 startups from the 2019 batch of biotechnology alone. The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA-6 LPA.

From Wi-Fi to specialised laboratories, everything is available. The college is meticulously designed to provide students with the best possible college experience. A smart library with books and auto-issue capabilities is also available. In all the hostels, the food provided is of good quality.

The teachers are well-educated and involved in ongoing research ventures. IIT graduates make up the entire faculty. They can be helpful at times. The programme has been revised and is up to date. It also corresponds to the GATE syllabus. It is now supplemented with free electives.

With 20-30 companies coming for our branch, about 40-60% of students got placed. Our placement record has been good. The average package offered is around 6-7 LPA. Nokia, Samsung, and several other companies are among the top firms. However, there was a slight decrease in placements this year.

To be honest faculty is not the best according to the name of the college . Many a times they dont come to the classes and many times classes are canceled. Some teachers are very good and their teachings are the best . Students study by themselves mainly and the studying environment is also great.

College is known for its placements and according to the seniors the placement stats are very nice and most of the students gets placed. I do think i will get a nice placement and the placement cell of the college is very supportive.

its one of the best colleges of india and of course its value for money as the environment it provides can be found nowhere else and the job we get after graduation will also be dencent.

Campus life is amazing . And if you get hostels then its the best. Many fests are held in the college and many societie’s events are held . Location is fine there are many shops outside the college and its safe too.

The campus has a free wifi. There are facilities for various sports like football, volleyball, basketball. All the facilities are top class. The various inter hostel sports events are organised on a regular basis.

The teachers are one of the best with degrees and awards from other universities of the world. They are very much helpful. They are so active towards query of each and every student. They are always ready to help.

The placements recently have been the best in the country. Cse department had an average salary package of around 18 LPA - 19 LPA. For other departments, the average salary package offered varies between 15 LPA - 16LPA.

Rendezvous, the annual cultural fest is the largest technical fest of North India. Many sports and other activities are organised regularly. Various competitions of dance are also organised. There are several participatios.

Infrastructure: Mostly IIT Delhi hostels are very old but are maintained well. There might be a feeling as it lacks space, but it is a delight to have a hostel life with your friends here. The food served in the mess isn't that bad, and there are separate mess committees in every hostel to take care of them.The infrastructure of our college is good. Faculty: There are world-class faculty members in operations, finance, marketing, strategy and HR courses. Faculty members who graduated from MIT Sloan, XLRI, IIM Lucknow, etc., teach us. They are very friendly and helpful in guiding you on the right path, whether it be classroom study or help in any of your projects, internships and competitions.Teachers here are helpful, and the curriculum is as per industry standards. The infrastructure of the college is one of the best in the country, developments are even going on now to build new facilities. The lecture hall complex is new and has all the required facilities like wifi, AC, great classrooms, washrooms, water coolers, vending machines. laboratories are equipped with all the required facilities. This institute has a central library, and each department also has its own library. They are all updated each year with new books and new facilities.

I am doing B.Tech + M.Tech in chemical engineering from IITD, I am very much interested in chemistry from my schooldays and decided during jee preparations that I would go for chemical engineering where we can apply concepts that we learn to engineer the process and make real impact to the world. Curriculam of chemE is all up to date or can say has things till last decade, and you can also carry out research with the professors in the respective field if interested.

The placements are great, and chemical engineering branch is almost allowed to sit for all the companies which allows outside cs, ee, mnc students. The exact percentage is not revealed by the institute but we can say that around 90-95 % of all the students who apply for placements gets placed from chemical engineering.

It is Rs 112000 tuition fee per semester for general OBC students, for those whose family income is between 1 to 5 lac, it is 46000. For SC/ST it is 12000 per semester. Yes, the fee we pay is completely worth it.

I can definitely say you are going to experience one of the best college life if you get to IITD, you can go anywhere in Delhi in an hour from IITD, and you already know what all can be done in Delhi !!!

All modern amenities, including a 24x7 Wi-FI facility, digital classrooms, well-equipped labs, etc. Hostel facilities are not bad. The college is located in the center of the city, where land rates are skyrocketing. Hostel buildings are old and constantly renovated and upgraded with many modern facilities like a library, gym, music and dance rooms, etc. The college also has a central library which is a monument in itself.

I don't think the curriculum makes students industry-ready. Most of the students learn on their own via MOOCs, projects, internships, etc. Teachers are very knowledgeable and are actively contributing through their research. We can take projects under them, so most of the students gain valuable skills.

Being in the most sought-after course in India, we had a placement percentage of 96%. The highest package offered is 80 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. The top recruiting company was Goldman Sachs, recruiting more than 80 individuals. The top roles offered were managing software technician etc.

IITD has great infrastructure and has all necessary facilities. Food is good and hygienic. Here you will get 24×7 wifi facility all over the campus. IITD has a great central Library and all the department have their seperate library.

Academics is good as well. IITD has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. You can learn a lot of things there. Sometimes it becomes hectic but i think it's good as it will teach you time management.

IITD has good placements. Because IIT delhi has its own brand value and a big alumni network. Too many big multinational companies come here to recruit. It also encourage startups as well. Placement process is quite easy.

I can't say more about Academics as I'm freshers at IIT Delhi. But till Now, I found that Academics is really wonderful. You will gain lots of Knowledge here. Yes sometimes it seems to hectic but on other hand that will teach you time management

When we talk about Placements then IIT Delhi has awesome Placements. Because IIT Delhi has its own brand value and big Alumni network. In core branch placements are really awesome. Too many Big Multinational companies come here to recruit

Yes it is true that Cost of study is high but at end it is really worth. And that also depends on person that how he use this opportunity
