The Mechanics of Deformable Structures: Part 1 programme is the second course of a series having three parts, and this part is specially designed to give an introduction to the behaviour of viscoelasticity of a deformable structure, i.e. over the course of time. 

The objective of the programme also covers the pattern in which a structure changes if the load applied exceeds the permissible ability of the elastic limit, known as the plasticity of the material. In the end, a candidate will be able to apply analytical methods and perform calculations related to the subject.
